After getting 'comfy' in a crappy motel, the boys visit the morgue.

"Agent Wilson" the Medical Examiner shook Dean's hand before turning to Sam "and Agent Rogers" shaking Sam's hand. "I'm Dr Darvill, you said you wanted to take a look at the mutilated ones"

Sam and Dean nodded and the Doctor. He was actually quite tall but on the more lankier side of life. He pushed open a pair of doors and skimmed along the freezer doors. He muttered something before opening the door. He pulled out the tray, he pulled the cloth down what was left of the body.

The doctor went pale, Sam turned to him.

"Are you okay?" Sam asked and he simply nodded.

"This is one of the bad ones" he choked as he tried to stop chunks from flying. Dean closely examined the cutting shapes and sizes before noticing something. A certain smell.

"I think we've got everything we need, Agent Rogers" he tried to motion for Sam to start leaving as they had a big fish to fry before someone else was turned into dog food.

"So what's the diagnosis?" Sam turns to Dean as they reach the Impala.

"Demons Sammy, frickin Demons" Dean mutters as they step into Baby.

"Why exactly would demons do this?" Sam questions as they turn onto the smooth road back to the victim's family. Dean just turns to Sam.

"No fuckin' clue" he tries to say as serious as possible.

After a long wait and a shit tonne of knocking a young brunette answered. Her eyes dark and graceful. Her skin a shade of light olive from her mixed ethnicity and long dark curls of hair.

"Yes?" She answered with a gentle tone, her eyes were slightly red from where she'd been crying.

"Hi, I am Agent Wilson and this is my partner Agent Rogers, we're with the FBI. We were wondering if you could answer a couple of questions?" Dean tried to stay soft and calm but it came out a bit too sharp, like always. She simply nodded and opened the door, letting the boys slip in. They all sat down in the living room. Dean was about to speak but Sam shot him a look telling him he would take it from here.

"So Maya, as we understand you were out all weekend because of a wedding and when you came home, that's when you found him" Sam clarified with her in his soft and understanding way that Dean was yet to master. She nodded as a tear slid down her face.

"I-I went out to my sister's wedding in Las Angeles and when i came back he was supposed to pick me up, but he didn't... at first I thought he forgot so I called him. There was no answer and when I walked through the front door I remember, just looking at him. Like it wasn't real and then it snapped" Maya broke down crying as she tried to explain as much as she could.

Sam placed his hand on her leg.
"I know it's hard, but time will heal the wounds. You have to be strong" Sam assured her as Dean rolled his eyes.

"Have you ever lost someone you love?" She quivered, not being rude and attacking but more trying to figure out if his words were honest.

"More than even I could imagine" Sam gently smiled.

"Maya, before you left did you notice Aaron do anything odd or out of the ordinary?" Sam continued. Maya screwed up her face.

"Yeah, Aaron went drinking and when he came home he was completely drunk, two days before I left. Which was odd, because he didn't like drinking" Maya explained.

"Do know where he went?" Dean pushed, obviously getting slightly impatient at Sam.

"Yeah, a pub called Bailey's" Maya looked over to Dean sniffing.

"Thank you for your time" Dean wrapped everything up in a bow and they walked back to Baby. Dean looked over to Sam and smiled. "To Bailey's we go"

Let's just say, Bailey's was impressive. It was a Dean Winchester paradise. Sam leaned over to Dean.

"Why does everyone die after visiting a pub?" Sam wondered as he scanned over the crowd, until in the corner of the room he saw someone he never thought he'd see standing next to a tall guy and talking... why was Maya here?

They glided across the room towards Maya. When she saw the boys she took off bolting. It was a high speed pursuit until Dean jumped onto her, taking them down.

"What are you doing here?" He growled as Maya seemed petrified. She didn't answer. Plan B then. He cuffed her and threw her into the back of the Impala.

"Why are you here?!" Dean barked, throwing holy water onto her. It was only just setting. She screamed and wailed, tugging at the chains that attached her to a chair as Sam watched. Dean's phone went off, it was from the doctor. He told Dean that there was an anomaly in the bloodwork. "Sam, finish it. I'll be back" Dean instructed Sam as he grabbed his things and left.

"Ahhh, little Sammy Winchester, really think I'm afraid of you?" She hissed as her black eyes flashed. Sam was about to excorcise the demon when she laughed.
"Your little angel Gabriel, you think you can protect him from you, the real you? No, you are going to tear the flesh from his body and love it!" She cackled. Sam clenched the book so hard that his knuckles turned white. He grounded his teeth together before placing the book down and turning to The demon blade.
"Ooo, big scary Sammy" she teased, Sam flung the blade into her leg and she screamed. Sam smiled, a sick smile of enjoyment and satisfaction.

"The only thing I'm going to tear apart... is you" Sam threatened before twisting the blade and a laugh seeping out. She screamed again and Sam pulled the blade out, he slowly walked behind her and ripped her head back by her hair. The blade danced lightly around her throat, slowly pressing and letting a tiny bit of blood flow. He was so entranced in her pain that he didn't notice her smiling ever so often.

"See, you're just practicing. The one you truely want to do this to is short and has wings" The demon puffed as Sam circled around her, almost vulture like. That was enough. He grabbed the chair she was sitting on and threw it onto the floor, along with her. He sat on top of her and raised the blade up before forcing it down into her chest, a smile to go along too. He pulled it back out before slamming it back into her chest, he repeated , over and over and over till he felt someone rip him off her. He snarled and clawed at the person till he realised it was Dean. He was trying to say something.

"Sammy! Sammy!" Dean kept repeating as the words became clear and he felt more human. His eyes focused on Dean. Dean was just terrified, of Sam.

"I-I did that..." Sam's voice shakes and panted as he tried to look over at Maya's destroyed body. "I'm a monster, I can't control myself" Sam mumbled not fully hearing the words.

"Sam, look at me. You're not a monster" Dean tried his best to stop Sam from doing that to himself, it wasn't Sam. "Cmon Sammy, we need to go" Dean helped Sam up and they slowly trudged towards the car.

The drive was dead silent, Sam kept opening and closing his mouth wanting to say something.

"Dean, I..." Sam couldn't do it, he had no idea what to say or do after what Dean just witnessed.

"Sam. I don't want to hear it" His words were hard. Sam tensed, he screwed up, he screwed up bad. He pressed his hands together and closed his eyes, Sam really needed to talk to Gabriel.

"Gabriel, hi. I screwed up, really badly. I really need to talk to you when I get back" Sam prayed to Gabriel, he tried to be quiet but Dean could still hear his words. Dean turned to him and sighed, not in disappointment or anger just in a kind of relief.

"Sammy, you know you're gonna be okay. You would never hurt Gabriel." Dean tried to assure Sam.

"Dean, that's the thing, I have hurt him" Sam looked over to Dean with nothing but sadness and fear of what was to come. Dean groaned, he was trying to complete an impossible task.

He turned left and the only light was now coming from his headlights. Sam hadn't slept at all for over 24 hours now and the adrenaline was gone. This would be his first day in almost a week to go to sleep alone, without Gabriel. The feeling left a little hole in his gut, he'd become so dependent on Gabriel.

Maybe he shouldn't close his eyes just yet but he couldn't help it, even if Sam knew he would wake up even more tired than when he fell asleep. He fell asleep to the low grumble of Baby and the soft hum of Dean echoing in his ears.
