So, as everyone knows, I'm writing The Last Heiress this year, and the book will probably be finished by the end of this month. It will probably be posted before the end of the year.  I really enjoy writing this book because it's giving me the opportunity to flesh out what is happening in Manna City during the events of The Night the Vampires Came. 

There's a chance that I might write the next installment of Darkly Devoted next spring. I've been kicking around the idea in my mind of going back in time and writing a book from Allison's POV in Manna City before Vivienne showed up. I think it would be a lot of fun because it could flesh out a lot of the events in the later books. For instance -- Did Maglania know that Odelia was Orienne? 

Also, after writing The Last Heiress, I would love to write about Blake's first meeting with Charles Liang. 

As for advancing the plot, I think there's quite a bit more to tell before the plot is advanced. I would love to write Ever Darkly Yours (Amari), but I'm starting to think that won't be the last volume. I think it will set the stage for the end, but I think the last story will be about Julian, Blake, and Ailith.

Yup. I like the symmetry of it. The trio starts out as Blake, Julian, and Allison, and it ends with another girl with an A name. 

Everyone's probably thinking, "how do you write a book about three characters, two of whom are dead?"
