So, I've finished writing "The Last Heiress." It's coming to YONDER in Fall/Winter 2022.

I've started writing the next installment, which will be titled "City Of The Damned." Yes, I thought about calling it "Darkly Something," but I guess "Darkly Damned" just sounded a bit weird. 

This book is going back to Vivienne/Melody's POV, and she is going to meet several ghosts of her past. I have to say, I don't know if this book is good or not, but I'm really enjoying writing it. I haven't had a book that just wrote itself since "Darkly Forsaken," and that was many years ago. 

I really don't want Blake to be part of this book at all. I just want to write a book about Vivienne that is her story, completely independent of him. I feel that too often in this series, her development has been overshadowed by his development. 

I think from this point on, this series is going to be dominated by two very strong personalities with vastly differing opinions -- Vivienne/Melody and Ailith/Orienne.
