hey, treasured readers! author here. 

if you are confused about why this is so late, i guess the guilt of not thanking everyone for two years got to me. first of all, i just wanted to let you know that you're such a fucking legend for reading this book and reaching the end grinning. i know how people read and reread until stars pop behind their eyes, and for that, you get a big fucking hug. 

i wanted to tell you about something else, too. this story — notes || jaenoren — was written in the summer of 2018. it was the first proper narrative i had ever written. i had no experience with writing — and the fact that it kicked off so powerfully is the reason i have persevered through my ups and downs in the activity. 

i want you to know that i have improved since then. i employ techniques, i map out plots, my mind  plays circles around the english language whereas once i'd have guessed what to say. and if you enjoyed this story — please consider reading some of my more recent ones. i'm not begging for reads and votes — this is for me, as a writer, to receive feedback and some fruit for the thought and love that goes into these books. because if you loved a work that i winged two years ago, you might my other stuff too! so many people read this, but don't seem to give my new work a chance, and i suppose it's a loss for both of us. i just want you to see it too — that i've improved, that i've elevated the plane on which i create for you to enjoy! because i do it all for you guys.
