It was never supposed to be like this.

She only wanted to help kindle a relationship. But she swam deeper than she should and now she couldnt get out.

Waves of anxiety drowned her with every "Why did I do that?" and "Why didn't I do that?" that she asked herself. Her fear of not being good enough dragged her down to the depths where no one, especially him, could hear her screams. Down into the abyss where the pressure could crush her to a small thing.

She didn't understand. She couldn't understand. All of this is new to her. But she loved every second of it.

She treasured those times when he approached her first and her heart would sing with joy. His voice was music to her ears and she paid attention to every lyric he sang. She admired every single bit of his personality. To her, he is the definition of perfect.

But his heart belonged to someone else.

So she holds back, letting it eat away her heart with every piece of her she gives. She couldn't help it. He is like a drug that stimulates her to get out of bed. But like a drug, he could damage her heart.
