"My god!" she made an effort and got off from the bed. The fever in her body was still making her shiver and she was about to fell down, then Pramod swiftly got off from the bed and took her into his hands. "Why that haste? You have to take rest for some more days."

"My boy there is a great disappointment for you." With a smile on her lips Ragini said.

"What that is? Are you going to say that we are neither friends nor lovers?" looking surprisingly into her face, Pramod asked her.

"We are ever great friends and lovers." She kissed him on his cheek again. "I cannot deliver a baby. Because, there is no pregnancy to me."

"Are you sure? Are you sure about that?" there was suddenly relief in his face then.

Then she explained what Jasmine and Mounika did.

"They both are indeed very great friends to you." After hearing everything what she said, Pramod said.

"But they are quite angry with you for what you did to me." She said to him.

He slowly made her sit on the bed again. "Anyone would be angry with me as I did such type of a thing to you."

"But they don't know what you are and how good you are! Once they know they shall feel very happy."

They both talked some more time quite intimately. When he said bye to her, she passionately kissed once again on his cheek. The parting then was indeed quite painful to them both.

Jasmine put her hands around her mother's neck and kissed on her cheek. "There is no pregnancy to her. We three were so much relieved after knowing it. I am so happy."

"There is no necessity to overwhelm with happiness like this. I just don't know how you did all this. You behaved more than your age. You are over-matured I think." There was a troubling expression on Malathi's face.

"What is this over maturing?" coming there Sundar asked.

"Dad is already home?" Jasmine startled. She did not want any of that to be known to her father. "I think dad said he would be very late on this day to home."

"I was late of course but not as much lately as I thought. You went somewhere, where were you all the time?" looking inquiringly into his daughter's eyes, Sundar asked.

"I went to my friend Ragini's home with Mounika." Jasmine was terribly feeling uncomfortable.

"Alright. What you both are talking? May I too can share that?" looking curiously into the faces of them both, he asked.

"Not that much very important." Malathi hissed out. "Jasmine go into your room and do your homework."

"Alright mom." Jasmine nodded her head and went into her room.

"Is there something darling?" looking inquiringly into his wife's eyes, Sundar asked.

"There is a lot in fact." Malathi hissed out heavily. "I just don't know how to understand any of this. I cannot say how you react to it either."

"I know about you." Sundar said. "You are intelligent and matured. Your thinking is always perfect." He paused for a moment. "Don't worry about how my reaction is going to be. Just spit out what that is troubling you."

Then Malathi told him about Jasmine's friend's mistake and her buying pregnancy kit.

"I still cannot believe! Our daughter who is just studying ninth class knows how pregnancy happens, pregnancy tests and the rest! It seems that she knows all about sex. Our daughter is just representing the whole of children of her age. Is it is necessary to them to have sex education?"

"No surprise. The environment around is like that. In fact I know what to do for pregnancy in my sixth class. The generation is advanced a lot from our time. There is now internet also to know whatever they want. And there is no necessity to tell how the present day movies are." Sundar said.

"But it is all appearing quite atrocious! It was not so in my generation. Of course I know at my ninth what to do for pregnancy but I never entertained such type of thoughts." Malathi said.

"You did not entertain such type of thoughts at that age because of your family culture. Can you say no one in your class at that time did not entertain sex thoughts? Can you say for sure that none of your classmates in high school did have sexual intercourse then? Sex is something that comes from inside not from outside. At all times it is just in the same way. In our times also there were teenage sexual intercourses, pregnancies at high school level. Because media was not like this in those days, we did not know about those incidents."

"But what for this sex education then? Children know everything about sex." Malathi irritatingly said. She did not like being defeated like that.

Sundar laughed and said. "For what you are thinking sex education is? It is not to tell the children how to do sexual intercourse. It is something to make them knowledgeable about the disadvantages of premature, unhygienic sexual intercourses and many more things that they don't know about. To make them knowledgeable about unsafe sex. Forewarned is fore-protected."

Malathi nodded her head and said "You are right."

"It is not surprising and shocking but I am feeling uneasy. I am feeling even more uneasy that our daughter helped that girl so. But I cannot say that she did a wrong." Sundar said.

"I am also feeling in the same way you are feeling." Malathi said. "I am feeling uneasy for the unnecessary popularity that our daughter is getting. As it is not enough our daughter is always ready to give speeches and help people. You know that she promised to that Mounika that she would restrain her parents from taking divorce. Are you thinking it is possible at all?"

"I just don't know what to say." Sundar said. "She has the same nature to help her friends in before also. But she never took any problems to us."

"Helping people from any other problem is different from stopping a couple from taking divorce." Malathi said.

"You are right. Then warn your daughter not to interfere with intricate matters of other people unnecessarily."

"She said so but she is not appearing doing anything in specific. She is just giving some suggestions to that Mounika. May be there is no problem."

"Think yourself. You may take any step you want for our daughter's welfare. You need not take my permission."

"You need not tell me about that." Malathi said. "But I am still feeling fear after hearing that Ragini's episode. Our girl is quite attractive and boys always try to put themselves in her notice."

"Our daughter is intelligent. She never put herself foolishly into anyone's trap." Sundar thoughtfully said.

"But we cannot underestimate the urge. I cannot blame that Ragini completely. Sometimes the sexual urge inside compel anyone to behave immorally. There is no surprise that our daughter also yielded to it at a weak moment." Malathi thoughtfully said.

"You are thinking too much. You are exaggerating the issue." Sundar said. "Of course, children know everything about sex at the high school stage itself and you and I also know about it in our teenage itself. I agree that there are unwanted pregnancies and miscarriages even at ninth and tenth class also. But just by that....." he paused for a moment and said again "Don't think our daughter would do such type of a mistake. Most of the students do have lot of fear and respect to their elders and traditions and they don't do such type of things. There is no necessity say anything particularly about our daughter."

"You yourself are agreeing that there is a possibility of such type of a thing. When there is such a possibility, however much less possible it may be, we need to be careful."

Sundar said. "What do you really want to say?"

"I want to say to our daughter if ever she felt an uncontrollable urge like that and committed a mistake" she paused for a moment looking carefully into the face of her husband "let me know about that immediately so I can take remedies."

"Is it is not better to ask her to take precautions not to get pregnancy rather than taking remedies at a later point of time?"

"Of course, I advise her so. But it may not be possible to take precautions sometimes."

"What you are thinking? Why you are obsessed like this with the same thinking? Our daughter is sensible. You need not tell anything like that to her. I am hundred percent confident about our daughter. You may also please be confident like that with her."

"I am also confident about my daughter." Malathi said. "But I am not confident about age. After I became a woman, I also used to get strong sexual urges but I did not do mistakes just because I have not have opportunities. We were forced to maintain strict distance from boys. Whatever you may think, I want to say the truth to you, if a boy was available to me then, I would have committed the mistake."

"I appreciate your frankness dear. I also used to feel in the same way. But I too did not commit a mistake."

"But our times were different Sundar. There was not this much of closeness between boys and girls. Boys and girls did not move together this freely in those days. Movies were not this much outrageous then. No internet, no smart phones, no porn. Now just see how everything around is."

"Alright. Alright. It seems we have once again come to square one. I have no much energy in me to discuss with you now." Hissing out heavily he leaned back in the chair.

There was some silence. Malathi suddenly said "Just make one thing clear to me. Do we need sex education classes for the high school students?"

"Why this question? What difference it makes to us if there are sex education classes in high school or not? When it comes to Jasmine, you are available in all respects, quite better than any other teacher." Looking into his wife's face, Sundar said.
