The next day, as she promised Malathi bought a pregnancy checking kit in the nearby medical shop and took it to home. She carefully explained to her daughter how to check with that kit to know whether there was pregnancy or not. Jasmine heard everything carefully.

"Thank you very much mom." Keeping that pregnancy kit in a cover making it completely inconspicuous Jasmine said to her mother and went to Mounika's home. From there they both went to Ragini's home.

"Thank you very much that you both have come once again." With a smiling face Ragini's mother said. "Ragini is very eagerly waiting for you. There is little change in her after you both met her on yesterday."

Jasmine and Mounika nodded their heads and they went into the room of Ragini and promptly closed the doors and latched them from behind.

Jasmine told Ragini how she has got the pregnancy kit and how it should be used. Ragini nodded her head and agreed to the same. Then while their heart beats were increasing to the maximum, Jasmine conducted the pregnancy test.

"It is absolutely negative. You have no pregnancy." Once the test was completely clear, Jasmine said to Ragini.

Ragini's face at once lit with pleasure. "Are you sure? Am I really not a pregnant?" still Ragini was suspicious.

"Absolutely you have no pregnancy. I have heard everything so clear from my mom. So stop feeling fear unnecessarily about it."

Ragini came near to Jasmine, hugged her and kissed on her cheek. "What a good friend you are to me! How much pains you have taken to do all this! What your mother has said when you said all about this and asked her buying this pregnancy kit?"

"My mother is a very understanding type. She understood what type of crux you were in and bought this pregnancy kit." Jasmine said.

"Your mother is really very nice woman."

"But she too did not approve what you and that Promod did." Jasmine did not want to say like that but she could not remain without saying.

"She is right." Ragini said while closing her eyes.

"Oh, don't make her sad more and more. She is going to be careful in future." Mounika said.

Jasmine nodded her head. "I am sorry Ragini. Every human being does mistakes. It is just a mistake on your part. Forget about it and be careful in future."

"Alright. I remember this forever." Ragini nodded her head.

"Now your fever will disappear in no time I think." Mounika said. "May I expect you in the school tomorrow?"

"No" Ragini nodded her head in negation. "I am feeling relaxed and happy. But I am still feeling weak and there is a little headache also. I want to take another two days rest." She said.

"Fine. Do so." Mounika nodded her head. "We come tomorrow evening also. Don't worry." Saying so they both came out of the room. Jasmine put the used pregnancy checking kit once again in the same cover carefully. No one could know what was inside of that cover.

"What your friend is saying?" as soon as they both came out Ragini's mother asked anxiously.

"We have persuaded her on this day also that there is no necessity to worry about her studies and that we both are here to help her in all respects. She would be alright just in one or two days I think." Mounika said.

"I said the same thing to her on yesterday also. But still she is worrying."

"We have persuaded her enough aunty. Don't worry. She will be alright in all respects in very little time." Jasmine said.

Then they both came out of that house.

Pramod was completely upset. He could not feel comfortable at all. He enjoyed that a lot on that day and he had seen satisfaction on her face also. He enjoyed the thrill he expected on that day.

He still could remember that he did not prefer to talk anything with her after the act. He suddenly felt deflated, uneasy and awkward after that. He just wanted to go away from her but nothing else then. Even afterwards also, he did not want to talk with her. He could conveniently forget about her.

But when he heard that she got fever and stopped coming to the school, he felt otherwise. Both their families were neighbors and they both were friends from their very early age. How could he do such type of a thing without thinking much? 'What if she becomes pregnant?' this thought was gnawing his mind. He could not remain peacefully at all. Some strong feeling in him made him took a decision.

On that day he went to her house. "Oh, you came!" Ragini's mother greeted him with a warm smile.

"I came to know that Ragini is suffering from fever. I want to see and talk with her." he said.

"You both are good friends. There is no surprise that you feel like this for her. She is in her room. Go and see." She said.

He started towards her room.

"Just a minute." He stopped and looked into her face when she said that. "She is worrying too much about her studies. Tell her that there is no necessity to worry about it. Jasmine and Mounika already assured her that there is no necessity to her to worry about her studies. You too do the same. She feels more reassured."

"Sure I do that. We all help her with her studies. There is no necessity to her to worry like that." Then he went into her room.

Just half an hour or so back Mounika and Jasmine went out of that room. After knowing sure that there was no pregnancy to her, Ragini relaxed a lot and her temperature also came down fast. She went into small sleep but awoke hearing the sound. She opened her eyes and looked straight. She felt surprise finding Pramod standing before her.

"You came! To do that ghastly thing again to me?" she angrily said.

Pramod very slowly came near to her. "I am very sorry to what I did to you." He sat beside her on the bed and said.

"You did not even talk to me after that." Looking accusingly into his face she said.

"I could not feel comfortable after that. I was gripped by a sort of uneasiness. So I did not talk anything with you then." With the same small voice he said again. "It was very bad on my part. First of all I should not do that to you. Next I should not stop talking with you and neglect you."

"It is not just your fault. I also encouraged you to do that to me." Still looking into his face Ragini said.

"But there shall be damage to the girl by that act and there would be no problem to the boy. I knew about the complications and I should have thought about the situation if you become pregnant. I did not do that."

"Pramod, you are really good." Ragini admiringly said.

"I have two sisters. I just thought how I would feel if someone do such type of thing to one of them." He said as if he did not hear what she said.

"Only good people do such type of reasoning." The admiration in her face was in the same measure.

"Why did you get this sudden fever?" looking at her lean figure attached to the bed like that he asked.

"I am feeling fear I became pregnant. I have not had my periods in the usual way." She wanted to test him.

"Is it is so?" there was an instant horrific expression on his face.

"Yes, I became pregnant. What should I do now?" she hid her face in the pillow and started weeping.

His heart missed a beat. What he did not want to happen has happened. What should be done now? But in seconds he came to the decision. He slowly went near to her and took her hand into his and squeezed it gently. She perched her face and looked into his eyes.

"Don't worry. We both are equally in this. We both shall face it. Just say my name when you have been asked who caused it." With firmness in his voice he said.

"Really? Really you do mean it?" looking surprisingly into his face she asked.

"I really mean that." The same firmness in his voice then also. "Just say my name. You are going to deliver the baby. I marry you hundred percent."

"We both are minors. We cannot marry until we become majors."

"Then you deliver the baby. We keep it somewhere safe until we become majors and marry."

"But I don't want to keep my baby anywhere else. I want it to be always with me."

"First you deliver the baby. Then we do think what to do with it." He said.

"Becoming a mother without marriage is a very bad thing in the eyes of the society. Everyone considers me as a bad girl. If you come forward to marry me saying you did that, you will also be considered to be bad. No one comes forward to marry your sisters. It complicates things for you also." She paused for a moment carefully observing him before saying again. "I have no siblings. Only my mother and I shall suffer. You have two sisters. If they don't get married because you are considered as bad, your whole family shall suffer. No, let this suffering be limited to me."

"Never" Ragini surprised with the force in his voice. "I never leave you alone with all this. Whatever may be the consequences, we are going to face them bold. I am not going to abandon you for anyone else' sake." He paused for a moment and then said again. "I am already feeling something strong towards that baby in your body."

Ragini did not know that she was doing it like that. She sat at once bolt straight on the bed and hugged him strong. Before he understood what was happening she showered warm kisses all over his face.

"I am really very lucky. I have got a boy friend like you." She yelled with happiness.

"Oh, don't yell so. Your mother may hear." He cautioned her. "We are not just friends. We are lovers now. Going to be the wife and husband soon." He declared.
