Cedric POV

"Thank you for saving my ass from breaking, Cedric!"

Y/n spoke while giggling like a two year old at me as I fixed her clothing. I tried to hide the obvious blush which was creeping up my cheeks. I glanced sheepishly at her to see if she noticed.

And she did, she had a look of pure adoration for me. I think I might have started to fall for this woman who appeared out of nowhere yesterday in my life.

I don't know how can someone fall in love so quickly, but I guess what happened with Cinderella is true. She fell for my brother after knowing him for a single night, and I am falling for a woman who I've known for nearly twenty four hours.

Haa, I guess my oath to stay marriage less is going to break soon. I mean I did lost my first kiss to Y/n, yesterday. Although she felt as if I forced her... I should not think about that too much.

I let go of her healthy self and then looked away at my friends who were busy fencing and horse riding. And in a second, a weird idea came in my mind, which I asked Y/n's permission about,

"Y/n..."

She turned her raven head to me as I called her out,

"Do you know how to ride a horse?"

I asked the question which was in my mind, and immediately saw her expression change from a curious one to a terrified one. She shook her head rigorously and then stepped away while mumbling to me,

"No no no, no no... Please Cedric I am not going to ride a horse! I am terrified of that animal! I don't want to break my bones or get stomped by a horse! Please don't do this to me!!"

She said and ran away, while I stood there staring at her running self. Why is she so scared? I thought and began to run behind her, trying to see where she disappeared to?

And I saw her trying to climb up the wall once again to go out of the castle. Why is she so desperate to go out? I went near her and spoke,

"If you don't want to ride a horse it's fine. But I would highly suggest you not to climb the wall like that! There is a huge drop from this side, that you won't like one bit! And if you want to go out of the castle, I can take you! Just get down from the wall!"

And as I said these words, she looked back at me and yelled,

"Well then catch me lover boy!"

And she dropped herself, this time by choice. I ran ahead and caught her again in my arms. Letting go off her body I made my way inside the castle with her trailing by my side.

She called me Lover Boy, why did she said so? Does she think of me as her lover? Is she attracted to me as I am to her? No, that can't be. She is a woman from the 21st century.

It must be quite normal in her world to do so. We both came near my room and went in, Y/n as always sat on the bed and propped her head on her palms and kept looking at me,

"What? Seeing something funny?"

I asked her out of curiosity. She just shook her head and replied,

"Nope, I am just wondering..."

"Wondering what?"

I proposed a question to her,

"Where will you take me once we go outside?"

She put forth her curiosity, and I smiled at her genuine excitement and went in my bathroom to freshen up for the little trip. She after not getting an answer from me, yelled once again,

"Hey! Tell me! Where are we gonna go? Cedric!"

I chuckled at her words and cleaned myself before stepping out of the bathroom wearing a shirt and dress pants. I walked over to her and spoke,

"You should change into a dress, Y/n. People of this century kind of have never seen a woman wearing a shirt and pants."

I looked away from her as I felt bad to say that to her. Her shoulder slumped as she stood up from my bed and went into her own room to get dressed to go out. I ran to my closet and quickly grabbed a large coat for Y/n.

And then I went straight towards her room, I was tapping my foot when she finally stepped out of her door and my jaw dropped to the floor. She looked so stunning, in that brown and white morning dress. Her hair let low on her shoulders. And an empty basket in her hand.

She walked closer to me while grinning like an idiot and asked,

"Do I look presentable enough now, your Highness?"

And bowed a little, I laughed at her act and then shook my head while patting her's. I handed her the big fur coat and spoke,

"Yes you are looking very stunning, Miss Y/n. Now if you are ready, shall we leave? We have to be back before sunset..."

I gave my hand to her and she grabbed onto my bicep, we both walked out of the castle and climbed into a carriage. Riding our way out in the city of Neuswanstien. Through the entire ride, Y/n was busy looking at scenery outside of melting snow and blooming spring.

And I was just staring at her sparkling eyes, getting lost in them like a moth to the flame. My mind ran to the conversation we had in the morning. Of her calling me a Lover Boy.

Why did she said so? She must not have any interest in a guy like me from the olden time. She is from the new era, the era where she can get any man she wants?

But why do I feel like becoming her Lover?

A part time Lover?...
