Tony and I snuggled against each other on the couch watching The Walking Dead. It was a day before my birthday. I fell asleep, dreamt sweet dreams.

I woke up to find a blanket covering my legs, it was dark.
I got up, rubbing my eyes trying to adjust to the darkness.
I looked into my dad's room, he was snoring his head off, snuggling with the last memory of my mom, a blue blanket with a heart embroidered on it,  she had made for him the day she died.
I looked into Tony's room, he was on the computer, looking at cat pictures.
"Tony? What are you doing?" I asked.
He snapped around, looking angry; his expression softened.
"Oh Kat, you're awake...." He said rubbing his eyes.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"1:50." He said, while looking at his watch.
"Oh. Why where you looking at cat pictures?" I asked a bit intrigued.
"Oh just the night mind wanders." He said, he turned off his computer.
I dragged my feet to his bed and plopped under the covers, I immediately fell asleep, do to the warmth of the covers.
"Kat? That's my bed..." Tony sighed.
He went to the bed and went to the other side of the bed, and went to sleep.

"BREAKFASTTTTTTT!!!" Yelled my dad.
I woke up, I stared at the ceiling, at first I didn't know where I was.
Tony was beside me, his arms wrapped around my waist.
His lips pressed against my lower back.
I squealed in embarrassment.
He moved, he opened his eyes slowly.
Tony quickly let go of my waist. The heat left my back.
I groaned.
"Cmon it was comfortable..." I said.
I snuggled back up to him.
"Happy birthday, babe..." He said brushing my hair with his hand.
I blushed at the word 'babe'.
I looked up at him at gently kissed him on the noes.
"Wanna get some breakfast?" I asked.
"Mmmmmm sure!" He said.
Tony got out of bed and picked me up, bridal style.
"AHH!!!" I laughed.
My dad saw us and Tony froze.
"Sorry Mr. Jennings...." He said, setting me down.
"Shuttup.... It's fine Tony. Besides you're so kind to her, I won't mind if you decide to even marry her." My dad said plainly, flipping a pancake.
I could feel my ears turn hot red.
"WAIT YOU WOULD BE COOL WITH ME MARRYING KAT?!?!?" Tony said, a huge grin came to his face.
"Yep!" He nodded.
My face felt like lava, Tony was actually talking about this?!
"Oh that reminds me!!!! I got you something for your birthday Kat!" Tony said.
"Kat, turn around! I'm talking to you!" Tony laughed.
"I am facing you...."  I said.
"Oh, okay Ms. Maroon Face!" Tony teased.
"WHAT?!? IS MY FACE REALLY THAT RED???" I said blushing even more.

Tony lifted my head and kissed me.
It was a short kiss, just to bring me back to my senses.
"Better?" He said, breaking the kids.
I nodded.
"AWWWWW!!!" My dad said.
"Dad!" I said.

We all sat in the living room, at least 6 presents were in front of me.
I grabbed Tony's it had a couple holes in the box. I read the note.

'Dear Kat,
Happy birthday! You are now 17 year's old! Jesus!!!! Like wow! Now please give me a kiss?? Meow or never!!!!
                                     Love, Tony!!!!!!

"What's up with the cat pun?" I said laughing at his "pun"
He held out his arms, and gave me the happiest look.
"Fine!" I said, getting up and kissing him on the lips, for a mere 10 seconds.
"Thanks!!!!!" He said.
"NOW OPEN THE PRESENT!!!" He jumped.
I opened the present carefully.
I opened the box, and two kittens jumped out onto me, one was grey the other was white.
I gasped.
"MUNCHKIN KITTIESSSS!!!!!" I squealed.
I picked one up and said.
"I'm going to name you, Galaxy!!!"
"Tony, name the other one!!!" I said.
"Huh? No they are yours!!!" He said.
"Name ooonnneee!" I said.
"Okay okay! How about... Uhhhh." He said picking the white one.
"Serendipity..." He said.
"What?" I said.
"Serendipity! That's what I wanna name it!" He said.
"️Awww I love that name!" I said.
