Chapter 4: Their place
Callie's POV:
After what felt like forever, I decided to poke my head out of the giant's pocket and froze. We were high up, far away from the ground. Everything looked so much smaller, like views from an airplane....I would have enjoyed it, if I wasn't kidnapped by a creature, that was only suppose to exist in fairytales.
I then looked up and saw, that he and multiple others were climbing on what looked like a massive plant...a bean-st-alk? Buuut....those aren't supposed be real. Jeeee...Callie, giants are real soo how come beanstalks aren't? I thought to myself, mentally slapping myself in the process. Suddenly I felt the pocket shake more than it usually did during their whole climbing process, causing me to shriek. "I am sorry, princess, but you'll have to deal with that." The owner of the pocket spoke, using his finger to shove me back inside. "It's also not safe to poke your head out like that." He spoke, causing me to roll my eyes in response. When will this horror end?

Jake's POV:
After seemed like ages of climbing and walking, we had finally reached our home. We had moved out from our parents' house a while ago and were now living in our own two story apartment. It was also a good thing, as we didn't want them to know about the humans we had to kidnap last night.
We walked towards our huge dining table and stopped in front of Alan. "Alright, everyone." He began. "How about we all take out our humans. They've been trapped in the darkness of our pockets for too long." Everyone nodded in unison and took out the humans, placing them on the table. Man...those creatures are so adorable when they're scared. "Look how adorable they are." I cooed. "Huddled with each other, shaking in fear of w-." I was interrupted by Alan. "That's enough! You're making them even more scared of us than they already are." He spoke, sternly. "Isn't that the point? So they don't escape?" I asked, causing my brothers to shake their heads, 'no'. "On the contrary, we are supposed to make them feel more comfortable and secure. We did take them from their friends, families and lives after all." Peter butted in, causing me to roll my eyes in response.
Callie's POV:
After being taken out of that guy's pocket, I turned to see my friends in the same exact position as I was. What have I done, I thought to myself...if I didn't try waking them up, none of them would have been in this mess. "I am so sorry, ladies." I spoke. "For bringing you in this mess." The others looked at me, their eyes going wide. "It's not your fault, you didn't know what to do. It's not everyday a giant shows up and tries to kidnap you for seeing them." Hyun-a answered, giving me a hug. "We'll get through this somehow. luckily, we're not alone." Meghan answered, causing all of us to nod. "Ummm...girls, I think we should turn around." Nina spoke, causing us to turn around. In front of us stood six giant boys. "Look how adorable they are." The giant, who had kidnapped me cooed. "Huddled with each other, shaking in fear of w-" Before he could finish, he was interrupted by another one of them. "That's enough! You're making them even more scared of us than they already are" The other one spoke, sternly. "Isn't that the point? So they don't escape?" My kidnapper answered, causing the others to shake their heads in disagreement. "On the contrary, We are supposed to make them feel comfortable and secure. We did take them from their friends, families and lives after all." Wow, at least some of them are trying to understand us. I sighed, listening in on their argument. "A-are they going to keep arguing?" Astrid asked, causing me to shrug. "Who knows."
Alan's POV:
Me and the boys continued to argue, till I realized, that the girls were listening in and looked pretty terrified. "Umm...guys." I started. "Maybe, we should stop. We're scaring the humans." Soon after, I finished, everyone turned to me in unison. Sometimes, being the oldest is the best. My brothers look up to me as their leader and guide, which I'd happily be. I always tried looking at things through multiple eyes. And right now, I tried to look at things from both ours and the girls' perspective. I knew the best way would be to make them feel safe with us...as they'd have to be stuck here for who knows how long. Maybe the best way to start was introducing ourselves?
"Okk, everyone, how about we introduce ourselves to the humans." I spoke, causing my brothers to look at me. "I am not going to go through with all that introduction stuff..." Jake butted in. "It's not up for discussion, Jake. Please, just try to be nice..." I pleaded. "F-fine..."
Hyun-a's POV:
After what felt like forever, the giant boys turned to look at us. "Alright ladies." The one, who had kidnapped me spoke. "We never got to introduce ourselves to each other...sooo how about we do it now..." What were they up to? Don't Giants eat humans? I thought, barely listening to the boy. My story was meant to be just that...a scary story to scare my friends, I didn't mean for us to actually get kidnapped....my thoughts were soon interrupted by a touch on my back. "Umm...were you paying attention?" A deep, booming voice spoke, bringing me back to reality. "Umm...noo, sorry..., I was kind of stuck in my own thoughts." I admitted as I began to shake in fear. "That's alright, don't worry about it. I was actually offering you and your friends to introduce ourselves to each other." I nodded in response. Perhaps this situation wouldn't be as bad. "Allow me to start, my name is Alan and I am 20 years old." The giant, who had kidnapped me spoke. I took a deep breath as I spoke: "I-i am Hyun-a...and I am also 20 y-years old." This caused Alan to smile in response. "That's soo cool, we're basically the same age." I couldn't help, but smile in response. Then another one, who unlike his brothers had blonde hair, came forward. "Hi! My name is Henry and I am 19 1/2." He said, seeming to be waiting for a response. "Umm...Meghan, I think it's your cue?" I whispered to Meghan, who sitting beside me. "And why would I do that?" She whispered back. "The guy kidnapped me for gods sak-." Her whisper was interrupted by Henry's booming voice: "You know I can still hear you, right?" He said, folding his arms, causing Meghan to gulp in fear. "F-fineee, I'll introduce myself." She said out loud, rolling her eyes. "That wasn't so hard now, was it?" Henry grinned in response. "M-my name is Meghan and I am 19 1/2 years old."
Callie's POV:
I watched as the giants began introducing themselves . What were Meghan and Hyun-a doing? Why would they want to introduce themselves to them. Ok..yeah, the giants did introduce themselves first, but still....why would they answer them? Soon the giant with longer, curly hair and a white T-shirt came forward, kneeling down in front of them. Now that's something new....they were trying to be eyelevel with us now? "M-my name is Dylan and I am 19." He spoke, in a more gentle manner. He then looked over to Astrid, who looked like she had seen a ghost. "A-astrid." She answered, quietly. "And how old are you, Astrid?" Dylan asked. "19." Astrid said in response. Are we gonna all act like we're best friends and pretend like we never got kidnapped by those boys now? Suddenly, we were met with yet another huge pair of brown eyes, but these were much darker than Dylan's. "H-hey there little humans, you are all sooo cute." He cooed, turning to Mia. "Soo what is your name?" He asked, looking over to her. "M-mia...sir." Mia answered, shyly, causing his eyebrows to furrow in concern. "Y-you don't have to call me that...my name is Peter." The giant answered. "It's n-nice to umm...meet y-you?" She said, not knowing what else to do. "How old are you?" He then asked an already overwhelmed Mia. "1-9." She quickly answered. "No way! Me too." Peter answered, smiling. Revealing his perfect white teeth.
Now there were only two of them left, a nice looking boy and the giant, who had kidnapped me. "What do we do?" Nina whispered. "I don't know..." I whispered in return, genuinely not knowing what to do. Then the nice looking guy came over, looking down at us. "Umm...H-hello...I am Lukee...and I am 18." He spoke. "Ummm...H-hi, I am Nina...and I am 18 1/2." Nina spoke, causing me to facepalm. Great...now it was mine and that idiot's turn.
I watched as he walked towards me and stopped in front of table. "Do I have to do this whole introduction stuff?" He sighed, looking over Alan...aka the oldest. "Just give it a chance." Alan sighed. He then knelt down and started speaking. "Hi, I am Jake and I am 19 years old." I listened as he fully turned his attention to me. "Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" He asked. I was about to say something when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned back and saw Hyun-a, looking at me with a face, that read "don't do anything you'll regret." I sighed and spoke. "I am Callie and I am 18 1/2....Happy now?" Causing Jake to roll his eyes in response. "Now that you know us....we should probably give you your bags, that we collected from your camp. Wait...when did they manage to get our bags? "Relax, human. We simply thought you would need your stuff if you were to spend a long time, living with us." Jake spoke, noticing my confused face.
Nina's POV:
Thank god the introduction part was over. It was scary. Just being around them terrified me. What if they're doing this to earn our trust, so they can eat us later. "How do we know you're not going to eat us?" I suddenly asked, hugging my knees in fear. "We don't eat humans. We are nothing like what you read in fairytales....besides the whole beanstalk part." Luka explained, but I still wasn't convinced. "W-where are we going to sleep?" Astrid butted in. "You could sleep on the table?" Jake said, rolling his eyes. "Now now Jake, I think that's a little too harsh." Peter interfered. "I think I have just the thing for the girls." He said, walking away. I wonder what he had in mind. I really hoped he didn't intend to put us all in a cage. I then felt myself being lifted up and was brought towards Luke's huge face. "There there, Peter is pretty fascinated with your kind and would never bring anything bad." He whispered, rubbing my back with his finger, causing me to flinch away. He sighed as he looked at me: "It's ok, I understand....I would be scared to if I was being held by someone nearly 40 times my size."

Alan's POV:
Peter came back with what looked like a....dollhouse. "Dollhouse, really?" Jake sighed, rolling his eyes. "It isn't just a dollhouse. I built it myself. It works like a habitable house for humans." Peter grinned. "And why you would want to build anything like that?" Jake questioned. "I-i am genuinely fascinated with humans and their culture...and I thought maybe if I meet one, they could live in there?" Peter grinned, awkwardly. "You have some strange fascinations." Callie butted in. "No one asked for you opinion, shortie." Jake butted in. "I have the right to voice my opinion if I choose." Callie spit, showing him her tongue. Oh dear....this is not going to end well. What do I do? But before I could do anything, Hyun-a walked towards her friend and put her hand over her mouth. "Ok....that's enough. Right now is not a good time to start an argument." Thank god she intervened. I had just met her and I already loved her attitude.....
