Sitting in Ports class Y/n toyed with his pencils as the teacher went on about his life boring the new student. His eyes wandered around the class before landing onto Weiss' clock as the two of them looked at it waiting for it to change. Just then Jaune sliding next to her as Y/n raised his eye brows in confusion.

"Hey uhm Weiss I was wondering if you wanted to go grab a bite to eat? And Uhm i got two tickets to that new Bruce Willis movie i heard it's awesome. Then maybe we can study together?" Listing off his suggestions Jaune waited for an answer but got nothing except for the bell as the time changed from 3:59 to four o'clock making everyone pack up. "Uhm Weiss did you hear me?"

Walking pass Weiss and Jaune Y/n stretched with Weiss behind him.

"No,no,no,yes." She answered making the young man hit is head on the table in defeat as Yang walked pass him ruffling his hair saying "next time."

Walking down to the mess hall Y/n hanged back as he looked at the heiress. "Is he always like that?" Getting a groan from the schnee confirming his assumptions. "I see." Smirking a bit he looked a head. "So why didn't you take his offers?"

"It's just I know his heart is in the right place. It's just he doesn't ask how I feel about it." She answered making him look at her. "It's kind of like how it is with you and Carnage. Carnage does stuff and he doesn't ask how it makes you feel." She said making him nod as he rubbed his neck.

"Yeah. If I'm being honest I'm quite scared about this situation with Carnage and I. We have fights but it never turns into this." He sighed before getting smiling. "But let's not worry about me. It's Ice Queens time."

"Oum. You've been hanging with Yang too much." She said making him laugh.

"Correction I've been hanging with you too much. I don't nearly hang out with my sisters as much as I do with you. But i do plan on hanging with them if you're annoyed with me hanging out with you." He smirked causing her to roll her eyes with a smirk.

"Whatever floats your boat Y/n." She said making him poke her shoulder.

"See. I've rubbed off on you." He laughed making her playfully push him causing the two to laugh. "So you and the girls heading down to stop Mr. Bowler hat?"

"Yep. I do wish you could come with us." She said as they stopped at a fork in the hallways.

"Yeah. But Ozpin told me someone wanted to interview me so I'm just gonna see how it goes. Probably gonna ask me how many people I killed or whatever." Shrugging he played it off as Weiss and the rest of the team looked at him.

"Really wished that they asked more about the man suffering than ask the thing that starts it." Blake added making him nod.

"Yeah. Well I've been interviewed a few times and only one person showed concern for me when I was in Atlus. I think her name was Willow? I honestly don't remember." He said making the schnee look in surprise but no one saw as they all left to do their own thing.

Walking to the headmaster's office Y/n ran into Sun and Neptune.

"Sup dude!" Sun greeted making Y/n wave at them.

"Hey. How's beacon treating you guys?" Questioning the two Y/n placed his hands in his pockets.

"Pretty good. Definitely different from Vacuo" the two said making Y/n nod as they both had a friendly conversation.

"Anyways I got to go guys. RWBYs dorm is a little ways that way. Shouldn't miss it." He smiled making Sun thank him along with Neptune.

Walking to the headmaster's office Y/n greeted Glynda as she smiled and asked how him and Carnage are doing but smiled seeing as he told her they were doing fine. Joining Y/n in the elevator the two went up and saw Ozpin and Ironwood along with the interviewer.

"Ah Mr.Branwen. it's good to see you this is Eddie Brock Jr. He's the interviewer that will be asking you some questions." Gestering to the man Ozpin explained as the man stood up.

"It's good to meet you Y/n. My names Eddie Brock. I'm gonna ask you a few questions if you don't mind. But first I'd like to get to know you before we start the interview. I know this great food place if you haven't eaten yet." He smiled making Y/n nod.

"Sure. We can go I haven't really eaten anything since yesterday." He chuckled before his stomach agreed with him.

The two headed out of the office and towards the exit as the both of them began to chat.

"So how is your bond with Carnage since Cletus left. Being angry with each other isn't exactly healthy for a symbiote relationship." He said making Y/n go wide eyed.

"How did you?" He questioned as Eddie's eyes formed back before going back to their normal color. "You have a symbiote?"

"Yes. The father of yours. I'm project V also known as Venom." He said making the boy shocked from his conversation.

"You're venom? So you have more knowledge of the symbiotes." He asked making him nod. "This also isn't an interview it's you two wanting to know more about.....us." he reluctantly said making him nod again.

Timeskip.

The two sat at a small restuarant as they had some burgers along with fries.

"Now. What I'm gonna say is something you'll find insane. But these things are only doing what's best for us." Eddie said making Y/n look at him with a "you're kidding" look.

"Sure. Killing millions and tormenting me is doing what's best for me." Sarcastically answering the journalist Y/n shook his head. "Carnage doesn't care about me."

"No it does. If it didn't then it would've killed you by now. Let me ask you something have you heard the phrase "To defeat your enemy. You must become your enemy." Carnage bonded with you for a reason. It wants to end Cletus." This made Y/n laugh as he held his sides.

"Oh Eddie that's funny. Really it is." He chuckled but Eddie just looked at him.

"Tell me about when you reunited with Cletus along with your fight with him." 

"What is there to say we saw Cletus and Carnage wanted to go back to him. He force me to stop moving and every chance it had he tried to bond back with him or even tried to have me turn back around. I don't know much about my fight with Cletus but they said that Carnage fought him." He said making Eddie wave his hands around and pointed it out. "No....no you're joking."

"If we were wouldn't you know about it already? Look Y/n you might see Carnage as a freak, an insane symbiote but it didn't attack your family. It tried to have you fight Cletus thinking you were ready. Was it rushed? Yes. But that doesn't mean that you and Carnage don't have a same goal. You both want to stop Cletus. A symbiotes personality changes with it's host. Carnage after seeing Cletus and bonding to you is changing its view on the world." He said as Y/ns eyes grew wide as he looked down.

"I pulled a Carnage. I didn't ask how it felt being with me." He said making Eddie place his hands on the boys shoulders.

"No one is perfect same with a bond. You two will fight. But in the end you two are stuck with each other. Show people that you two aren't the old Carnage killer but Carnages killer." Eddie ended with a smile.

Y/n nod as his scroll began to go off.

"Sorry I have to take this." He said but Eddie waved it off.

"Don't worry. Our interview is over anyways. I'll pay and head out. But Y/n don't forget what I said." Eddie pleaded making him nod before going outside.

"Yellow?"

"Help! There's a robot and its big really big! That Torchwick guy is in it but like he's piloting it or something!" Y/n heard sun yell over Blakes phone.

"On my way." He answered before looking at the night sky. "How long was I in there for?"  Shaking his head he summoned a portal above the freeway as he saw Blake and Sun hopping from car to car. Running in Y/n fell with rip and tear activated before sinking them into the robot.

"Hey is that?" Sun asked as Y/n was being flung around before crashing into him as the two jumped onto another car.

"Sorry Sun." Apologising to the faunus the two stood on top of a truck. Just then Neptune attacked the robot as Sun activated his semblance creating clones. The two golden clones jumped towards the robot with sun joining the fray but the two Vacuo students were thrown off the free way.

"Sun,Neptune!" Y/n yelled as he jumped to the edge and tried to shoot a web. "Carnage come on!" He begged but still nothing. "Fine." Throwing a portal under the two he sent them near a food stand but was blindsided as the robot punched him sending him into the bridge making him cough blood before falling to the ground. A car sped towards him but he was suddenly picked up by Yang as she flung him onto the back of her bike.  "Thank sis."

"Thank me later. Can your claws turn into a gun?" She asked as he shook his head no. "Fine get Ember." She said using one hand to drive as Y/n pulled Ember off her left wrist and activated its gun mode shooting at the robot. But the shots were unaffecting the robot.

"Blake I'm in position." The two heard over the communicator in Yangs ear.

"Awe I want one." Y/n complained making Yang comment.

"Not right now Y/n. Just keep shooting." She demanded but noticed the bot fell off the freeway as Weiss stood in the middle of the freeway with a sheet of ice.

Jumping off of Bumblebee Y/n and Yang landed on the clearing underneath as he handed his sister back her weapon before getting his ready as he stood in between Ruby and Yang. 

"Freezerburn!" Ruby yelled as her, Y/n and Blake jumped back as Weiss placed a sheet of ice with Yang jumping and slamming Celica on it making a smoke screen.

Walking through the fog Romans robot began to look for the team and shooting at the shadows that appeared and vanish. Ruby charged at the robot as she swiped Crescent Rose as the mech as she bounced off and reloaded her gun.

"Checkmate."

Blake and Weiss began to flip and attack the sensors blinding the mech a little but Weiss was kicked away as she used her time Glyph to speed up Blake before the mech fired rockets at her but stopped as Blake's glymbo shroud began to make purple streaks cutting the missiles in mid air. 

"Black Dragon." Ruby yelled as her siblings ran ahead with Yang shooting herself ahead.

Yang got close to the mech and punched it but was pushed back from the punch. Underneath her Y/n jumped up and turned his claws silver look to red as they glowed red. Slicing at the joints of the Y/n narrowly cut one arm off but was punched back making him fly back before he flipped and landed on his hands and feet. Shocked he looked down and smirked.

"Lady bug."

Now it was Ruby and Blake's turn as the two began to hack and slash at the mechs feet before jumping into the air dodging a missile as the two cut off the left arm of the mech.

Running up behind the mech Yang jumped up and began her shotgun assault on the cockpit of the mech before it backed up and crashed the female into two concrete pillars before stopping at a thicker one making the female fall in the air. The one gun arm now morphed into a fist as it got ready to punch the female. Yang looked at the mech but felt herself get drop kicked as the mech punched her brother through it making her look at him in shock as he laid on the ground.

"Y/n!" She yelled as her eyes began to turn red but noticed her brother slowly standing up with his wounds fixing themselves.

Roman chuckled as he brought his fist down on the boy. Quickly putting his arms up they stopped the mechs fist right in its place making the boy smirk. Red and black ooze began to leak out of him before his hands formed into claws along with his form turning into his iconic form.

"We're back" sending tendrils around the arm Y/n and Carnage ripped it right off before being kicked by Roman.

"Black Widow!" Ruby yelled as her brother zoomed passed them with Blake throwing her ribbon at the symbiote covered boy as he grabbed it and correcting himself in the air with him running as Blake pulled on him with the help of Yang. As the boy was about to kick it Roman backed up causing him to miss.

"We have to slow it down." Ruby said as Weiss stood next to her.

"And how do you propose we do that?"

"Ice flower."

Using Weiss' glyphs Ruby shot through them with ice dust causing a massive explosion of ice to cake over the arm,leg and left foot of the mech.

Grabbing Yang's hand the two siblings swung around with Yang delivering the final blow to the mech making it fall to the ground into pieces as Roman rolled to his feet and dusting himself off.

"Just got this thing cleaned."

Shooting a dust missile Yang's attack was blocked by Neo as she used her umbrella.

"Ladies, Gentleman, Ice Queen. Always a pleasure. Neo if you would?"

Bowing the small villian smirked as Yang and Y/n took off and punched the two as they shattered into glass. Looking around Y/n and Yang noticed the two in a bullhead making the boy sigh before Carnage retreated back into the boy without saying a word.

"Thanks....Carnage." he mumbled as the two were met with the rest of the team.

"Looks like he's got a new henchman." Yang pointed out as Weiss smiled.

"Yeah. I guess you could say she made our plans fall apart?" She smugly said as a small giggle left her mouth.

"No just no." Instantly shutting that joke down she looked at her teammate as Blake walked away with Y/n following behind looking at his hand.

"There is a time and a place." Yang scolded

"Was this not one of them?" Weiss asked as she looked towards her teammate.

"No. It just wasn't really good."

"Well at least I'm trying." The two bickered as they followed the already walking teammates.

"Hey where's Sun and Neptune?" The small leader asked.

Meanwhile.

"They're probably alright huh?" Neptune asked as him and Sun were slurping on some noodles.

"Probably. We should thank Y/n for teleporting us here when we see him." Sun said making Neptune nod.

Back with RWBYY.

"So Y/n Carnage is back huh?" Weiss said proud that the two made up.

"No. I think Carnage saw how much danger I was in and wanted to help me." Looking at his hand he smiled. "I guess Brock was right." He chuckled as the team looked confused on who he was talking about.

"The interviewer." Blake pointed out as the three members nod.

Up on the freeway Venom and Eddie watched the entire fight with a smirk.

"It seems that they are slowly working things out." Eddie said as he smiled.

"Yes but it'll be a while till they can fully trust each other." The symbiote said as it covered Eddie.

"Give it a week. They'll patch things up." He smiled as the two swung off.
