Inside the sewers, Cletus was destroying walls, pipes, everything you can think of. He had lost connection with his son and is now royally pissed.

"Sweetheart." The host of Scream spoke as she walked up to the maniac. "He's not worth it."

"I spent eight fucking years molding him into a killer and he severs the connection between us. He was never grateful of the power I gave him!" He roared at her his face inches in front of her.

"Then why not take it back?" Shriek questioned. "Rip apart his mind, his body. Torture him and that traitor half. Make them regret leaving the family." She said with a smile on her face.

Pondering on what she said Cletus gained his smile back as he began to laugh.

"Oh, my dear. You are truly a blessing in symbiotic ooze." He smirked before whistling. "We shall take this to the surface and take everything from him."  He cackled as a stampede of carnages appeared in front of him as they all looked towards him waiting for orders. "We shall turn all of Vale into our new home!" He laughed as the symbiotes all stood ready. "Go my family and infect everything!" He ordered as they all ran towards the city.

Back in the city, Y/n and Carnage stood on a rooftop watching as civilians were being evacuated. It was hard to convince Ironwood to not take him away from Vale just yet. But until that time he is to help with evacuating the area. "Southside of vale is almost done." He muttered until a manhole cover was thrown off as a Carnage soldier appeared making the boy shocked. "God damn it!" He yelled before jumping off and swing kicked the symbiote making it bump into a store.

"Y/n!" Tai yelled but his son turned to him.

"Just focus on the evacuation!" He ordered before many other symbiotes crawled out of the sewers.

"Cletus was busy."

"Yeah." Morphing his right hand into an axe and his left into a morning star. "But we have as well."

"Let's go!" Carnage hyped before the two rushed towards the ten symbiotes.

Up at the vytal tournament

"My leg! Why did she do that?" Mercury questioned as he held his robotic leg?

"Miss xiao long you are under arrest."

"But he attacked me first." She defended but a sudden crash outside of the arena walls gained their attention as gunshots fired outside.

"What's going on out there?" One of the atlas officers asked only to get screams and laughter.  Just then multiple carnages jumped and began to attack the students morphing and infecting them. "What the hell?!" He exclaimed before they all turned their weapons and began to shoot the creatures.

Yang readied her weapons and began to shoot them with her weapons as the students that weren't being infected used their semblances to either counter their attack or escape.  Running to the other exits the students found more of them running towards them. Using her semblance Pyrrha closed the exits as Weiss used her time dilation to slow the symbiote from the various entrances.

"What do we do?" Jaune asked before noticing the top of the area as the symbiote began to scratch and claw at the protective barrier.

Just then a red and black portal opened as everyone turned to it. Yang, thinking it was her brother, told everyone to run to the portal but a sudden orange tendril punched her back making her gasp.

"Phage." She muttered as he smiled at her.

"Hello, dear niece. Where is your brother at?" He asked as everyone was panicking?

"He's not here."

"Too bad. I was hoping to repay him for locking me up in that jar. But no matter my rematch will come." He smiled as everyone looked towards him, as the symbiote that was in the stadium, were held against the wall thanks to pyrrhas semblance. "For now I want her." He smiled before pointing at Ruby.

"Why do you want her?" She questioned as the symbiote smirked.

"For her to be the next carnage killer and to rip something dearest to your brother." He smirked before blocking a punch from the yellow-haired brawler.
"Impressive. I felt that one this time." He smirked before flipping her over his shoulder and slamming her into the ground before slingshotting her to a wall. "But too bad for you I've been getting stronger with my new host."

Opening another portal he pulled the little red hooded girl towards him much to his dismay while missing a few times due to her semblance. But pulling her close he injected a serum into her neck making her lose consciousness and her aura. 

"Ruby!" Weiss and Blake yelled out as they went to help but were held back by two stray symbiotes.

"Infect them." Phage said as he vanished with the small teenager.

Just then another portal opened behind the symbiotes as Y/n jumped and slashed them in half. Shocked at his sudden appearance and his new look. The two failed to realize the symbiotes on them crawling towards them.

"Y/n?" Weiss questioned as he glared at her. Using Carnage Y/n grabbed the symbiotes before feeling his symbiote become stronger.

"What the hell are you all doing here? Didn't Ironwood send you all evacuation messages?" He questioned before webbing a symbiote up without looking.

"No, we didn't get anything." Blake answered.

"God damn it!" He yelled before ripping a chair off and throwing it at another oncoming symbiote. "Cletus already took control of the C.C.T tower. We're running out of time." Summoning a small ball the hero threw it upwards as the symbiotes that were on the roof of the arena finally entered the arena. Moving his hands outwards the portal expanded taking in the symbiotes as they were thrown into the sea miles away from vale.

"Where's Ruby?" He asked before jumping down and pulling his sister out of the wall.

"Phage took her. He said that she's gonna be the next Carnage Killer."

"Not if we have anything to say about it." Opening another portal Y/n had everyone enter it as at the edge of the city an evacuation was happening. "Let's go." 

But the arena jiggled as they all questioned what was going on. Opening a separate portal Y/n noticed the dust that's keeping the arena afloat was being destroyed. The culprit: Scream.

Turning around she smirked as she looked at the boy. Dodging an attack from him a portal opened as she jumped in it with the dust pouring out. The entire arena shook before beginning to plummet.

" Everyone inside the portal now." 

"Wait how does Phage have your semblance?" Jaune asked as Y/n sighed.

"He got it when he bonded with me. Now inside!" Tossing the blonde into the portal everyone evacuated but the symbiote pair.

"Wait Y/n what are you doing?" Yang questioned as the hero closed the portal before jumping out of a new portal that was diving through the sky.

Swinging to the damaged container he began to fix the holes trying to slow down the leak.

"Carnage any ideas?"

"I got nothing." 

Just then a bird call made the boy turn his head seeing the bird fly near his portal before flying to the top of the arena.

"There's no way."

"Y/n what's the plan?"

"Something that's gonna deplete my aura completely." Jumping backward and diving to the ground Y/n summoned a small ball in his hand before concentrating as it slowly grew big. The red and black portal began to pulse along with his aura as if it was sucking the life out of it.

"Is this gonna work?" Carnage questioned.

"Your last host before me could channel his aura into his semblance, right? If this works I can make a massive portal."

"How did you know about that?" Carnage questioned as Y/n chuckled.

"You had to survive somehow."

Yelling out a battle cry Y/n flipped around and expanded the small ball as it exploded into a massive one swallowing the arena. Slightly over the ocean, the massive object crashed into it creating medium waves. Falling to the ground the boy was slowly becoming tired before Carnage pulled him towards a building.

"What now?" The symbiote partner asked as the boy sat against the wall tired beyond belief.

"As much as I don't want to do it, We need to head towards the C.C.T tower and get Ruby back, which means we'll be facing against Cletus."

"Are you ready to face against him? Sure you accepted your demons but does that mean you're ready to face him?"

"If I don't then Ruby will be lost. I can't lose her as I did with Summer. After we get Ruby and head back to the evac zone. We'll stay behind." He said making his symbiote look at him with shock.

"Why do you want to stay?"

"If we leave we're handing the city to Cletus. We can't let him have it. This is our city we chose to protect." Climbing onto the roof Y/n stood up and looked over the city seeing too many people get turned into symbiote slaves. "We failed it numerous times and are now." Clutching his fists the hero turned around and towards the C.C.T tower seeing it covered in red webs and tendrils. "We're gonna fight with it."

"So you plan on going there by yourself?" A voice called out making the hero chuckle. "You wish to die huh. I can't believe you are making a stupid decision. You take too much after your father."

"Yeah. I guess I do." Turning his upper body the boy saw the very woman who he hasn't seen since he was ten. "Then again, he had the balls to raise me and my sister." He said with slight venom in his voice.

"I did what I had to do." She said making the boy roll his eyes.

"Yeah and look at where it got you. Two kids that missed their mother, one wanting to see her....while the other is pissed that she's standing behind him and not going to her."

"I'm here ain't I?" She questioned before stomping towards him. "I could be at my camp right now if I wanted to."

"You could...but we both know if you did you wouldn't know when Cletus decided to take over the world."

"And you think you can stop him?"

"No I know I can't." He chuckled as Carnage looked at him with fear before he began to pet his symbiote. "But a hero isn't someone that can leave everyone to fend for themselves when they know they have the power to." Feeling his heart race from the mere thought of Cletus appearing scares him.

"You'll die you know that?" She scolded making him chuckle before turning to her while having his symbiote peel back from his face but his expression on his face causes his mother to gasp softly.

"I know."

On his face was contentment along with tears brimming in his eyes.

"But if it means I can repent for my sins and even save the people I care about. Heh. Then I guess I can die with no regrets." Turning around and looking at the building he smiled. "Goodbye, mother." Jumping off the building Y/n shot a web and swung through the city as a tear landed on the edge of the roof making Raven look at it with confusion.

"Why?"

Swinging through the city Y/n felt the wind blow past him as he flipped in the air before shooting another one.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Carnage questioned as the boy dodged an attack from a symbiote before shooting another web.

"What choice do I have?"

"You have many. Save ruby and leave, hide, do whatever. You don't have to stay to repent for your sins."

"If I don't.....then Cletus and the rest can take my family. I won't lose them. I won't lose her."

"This is crazy you know that right?" He said making Y/n smirk.

"So stay here?"

Laughing a bit Carnage tighten around his host as if hugging him.

"Unfortunately for us both. I love crazy!" 

Swinging below a bar Y/n swung around it before throwing himself towards the top of the red tower. The nest of Cletus and his symbiotes, and where his sister is being held.
