Y/n swung to Beacon as he held his hip. That fall from the fifth floor messed his side up good. Landing on the ground he had his symbiote retract before making his way to the final bullhead of the day. Planting himself into one of many seats he sighed as he felt Carnage fixing the wound. Feeling his scroll go off he noticed a miss call from Weiss.

"I should call her back."

"Is that necessary? She'll try to stop us. We have a mission Partner. She and the team will be in the way." His symbiote partner said causing Y/n to look at him.

"Carnage these are our friends and family. We can't say that. They'll want to help us." He said causing his symbiote to appear looking at his face.

"Are you sure? They tried to stop us when we had Phage. What makes this different?"

"They'll help us.... as they did with Blake."

"They won't. When they find out we're looking for Cletus. They'll stop us."

"Carnage stop." Growing irritated with his symbiote the two glared at each other before Y/n called Weiss back. Just then his sister began to call him causing him to sigh. "Hello?"

"You need to come to the dorm now," Yang said making him annoyed.

"Yang I'm on my way. I'm not exactly in the best mood right now."

"We know Koda is acting up."

"I'll be right there."

Hanging up he swiped the air as a portal appeared with him hissing in pain before entering with his friends and family seeing Koda acting up.

"Koda. That's enough." He commanded as the cub looked at him before going over and laying in his bed as a form of timeout. The small cub huffed as it placed its head on the edge of his bed.

"Y/n," Weiss called out as she stood next to him with a somewhat upset look. "Why did you leave? You were supposed to meet my sister." She said but noticed him with ash and burn marks on his face. "What happened?"

"They'll get in our way. If we tell them. To protect them we must do this ourselves."

"Hero stuff. Look I'm sorry I couldn't meet her with you. I just have a lot on my plate at the moment. I just need some time to relax and be alone." He said causing Weiss to look at him with a nod.

"Well if you want we can watch a movie later tonight. I found this romance movie that you might like." She said but was stopped as Y/n placed his hand over her mouth.

"As much as I would like that I think swinging around would be fine for me.

Looking down she sighed in sadness as he left the room causing the rest of the team to worry. Yang looked at the door as Ruby walked up to her.

" I can watch it with you if you want Weiss." The small rose offered as the Schnee just shook her head.

"No, it's fine... I'm gonna go and meet my sister for some tea." Leaving the group the three left in the room looked at each other.

"What do we do in this situation?" The young leader asked as Yang began to ponder on what to do.

As the sunsets, the moon rises as Y/n stood from his shared bed. He walked towards his scroll that was connected to his communicator. Grabbing it he saw the police report talking about a bank robbery.

"This has to be her." The hero thought to himself as he went to the window only to be stopped by a yellow-haired female.

"We need to talk." She whispered as Y/n looked at her with disinterest.

"No, we don't." He flatly stated as he continued to move forwards but was stopped by his sister.

"Yes, we do." She said before dragging him back to much retaliation. "What is your problem? First, you don't show up to meet Weiss and her sister for tea next you're being distant and not as talkative as you once were."

"It's nothing." He said struggling against his sister as they continued to pull against each other.

"No, it's something if you're leaving at night." The two siblings began to bicker as Y/ns clothes began to shift making the symbiote known. " you need to talk to us." She said making him growl as carnage fully covered him.

"WE SAID IT'S NOTHING!" He bellowed as he pulled onto yang and slammed her into the wall next to the window startling the team. Just as the team fully woke up a glass-shattering sound cause them to look at the window before seeing a figure swing off.

Swinging through the city in a hurry Y/n landed on a rooftop on all fours. Standing up his suit slowly beginning to slightly morph. The eyes began to expand backward before ending in a narrow tip, his fingers slowly extended into claws. His mask slowly began to split as his razor-sharp teeth appeared giving the hero a more nightmarish look. Perching himself on the edge of a rooftop he scanned the streets. Police sirens sounded off in the distance as he swung to the sound.

Landing across the way Y/n saw the bank that was robbed. Swinging down and through the doors, he looked around for some kind of proof. Kicking over a security guard's body he noticed four slash marks on his body which led to him bleeding out.

"Interesting," Y/n muttered before slamming his hand onto the ground. Using his symbiote the being began to slither around as he used them to expand his search in a five-mile radius. Much like a spider setting up its web for prey, he focused on the webs waiting for something to find its way into his trap. Just then he felt something. Retracting all of his symbiotes except for one he followed it to a subway station.

Ruby and co all ran through vale with the help of Ironwood and Ozpin. The six hurried to the bank as they feared for what's going to happen.

"You said he ran in anger and he went with "we"?" Ozpin asked yang as the girl nod.

"This isn't good. The symbiotes act on the emotions of the host. If Y/n stays angry he could kill someone or worst his sanity breaks once more." Ironwood explained causing the sisters to worry.

"We can't let that happen. We're doing great progress with his healing. We can't let him break again." Weiss said as she ran next to her sister.

"Damn it. I shouldn't have taken that collar off so soon. If I've known he would do this." Ironwood scolded as Ozpin shook his head.

"No. None of us could count this reaction out of him."

Yang looked over the city in the distance with worry.

"Y/n don't do anything stupid."

In the vale subway, a pale woman skipped on the tracks as a four-armed beast followed her.

"Man, what a steal wouldn't you agree doppelganger?" She smiled at her pet as he followed behind her.

Above her crawled the hero as he glared at her before being covered in shadows as her pet looked up before moving on. The woman continues her skip before someone dropped in front of her upside down.

"Sandra Deel or should I say Frances Barrison." He spoke with venom in his words. As he dropped in front of them Doppelganger lunged at him but he moved out of the way towards the roof of the tunnel crouching upside down.

"Is there something you want?" She asked angrily that he used her original name.

"Remember Cletus Kasady? The man that steals everything from his victims?" He growled as she glowed from a working train.

"Why does my sweet Cletus matter to you so much?" She questioned as a train came and honked its horn at her and the creature.

"We're one of them!" He exclaimed before shooting webs at the train before kicking the two back as Doppelganger went to attack him but was ultimately pushed farther back.

Groaning in pain Shriek stood up before going to use her sound manipulation but was cut off as Y/n side kicked her face sending her tumbling towards the moving train. Just then her pet appeared and lunge at the boy right when he was about to attack her causing the two to fall off the tracks down below. Turning in mid-air Y/n punched the beast causing it to stagger before they crashed onto a pipe where he punched the monster through. Shooting a web up he went to leave but was caught by the monster as it grabbed hold of his ankle pulling him down. Morphing his arm into a sword Y/n brought it down cutting the fingers of the monster before a loud sonic wave pushed him down and onto the ground.

Being trapped in a tube of sound waves Y/n growled as his form began to morph out of the hero suit. Sending black tendrils upwards the tendrils wrapped around Shrieks wrists before pointing them up allowing him to escape. Doppelganger grabbed the boy before throwing him away into a wall. Using its webs the beast brought the wall down onto the boy crushing him. This caused the tendrils around Shriek to let go as she smirked.  Moving away from the rubble Doppelganger went to follow shriek but a red and black tendril grabbed it before the end morphed into claws digging deep in its throat. The beast struggled against it as it felt the claws dig deeper and deeper. The beast saw the rubble shake before showing the hero in his monster form. Three tendrils left the body before ripping off the beasts remaining arms causing it to scream in pain. The beast felt its mouth get covered as it saw the boy walk closer to it before looking at it with a stoic look. Its tongue stuck out as the hero licked his teeth. Reaching inside the boy ripped the monster's tongue out as he threw it to the ground before slamming it repeatedly onto the ground in anger. The monster's face became deformed with each slam.

Picking the beast's body up Carnage, who was now in full control, opened his mouth wide before chomping down and ripping the beast head clean off. Carnage glared at the frightened Shriek. Her pet, something that remained loyal was just killed in front of her. The symbiote dropped the body onto the ground as blood leaked out of its holes. Shriek backed away slowly as Carnage slowly made his way to her.
