Team RWBYY along with JNPR all sat in the stands of Glyndas class seeing Pyrrha deal the final blow to Cardin as he passed out from the impact. Blake had her nose in her book while Y/n was fast asleep in his seat as he hand his arms around the two seat tops next to him soon he had a little snore come out causing Glynda to clear her throat. Blake looked up but Y/n was still asleep causing Glynda to sigh.

"Will someone wake Mr. Branwen?" The teacher asked as a red tendril came out of Y/ns arm and slapped him hard making him snap open.

"I'm up!" He yelled as he rubbed his right eye.

"Mr.Branwen and Ms.Belladonna you both have been either docile and very tired is something ever the matter?" The teacher said as she looked at the two.

"No nothing ma'am." The both replied as they noticed the bell starting to ring.

Y/n was the first to get up as he grabbed his bag and walked on the stands before jumping to the exit and making his way to the dorm.  Yang and Ruby went to catch up with him but he was already gone as soon as they went outside. The two sisters looked around for him unknowing to them he was sitting on the roof of the building as he laid back and went to sleep again. Since the fight he's been trying his hardest to talk to Carnage again but hasn't gotten a answer from the symbiote at all.

Blake sat in the dorm room with her team as the three of them tried to have her take a day off as she's been tired lately from the constant search on why Roman's working with the fang.

Sleeping on the roof Y/n woke up feeling well rested as night appeared in the sky. "Alright time for a dance." He said stretching. "We'll talk later buddy. Just know I'm sorry for not understanding." He mumbled before jumping and swinging down to the ground. "Now. Where to find Weiss." Looking around he soon began to hear the Schnee as he turned the corner he went to call out her name but stopped as she was with Neptune.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me tomorrow?" She asked shyly as Neptune smiled.

"I would love to go to the dance with you." Answering a little to cheerfully Y/n sighed in defeat as he looked up and tried to smile.

"I shouldn't be upset. I mean I kind of saw this happening. He is cooler, nicer and all the while more mentally stable. Plus he isn't a killer." He said in a defeat tone as he swung through the window of the dorm where Koda was waiting for him along with Ruby.

"Oh hey Y/n. You ready for the dance?" She asked happy as she usually is.

"I uhm change my mind. I think I'm gonna go and swing around Vale for a bit. You know to clear my head of some stuff." He said putting on a fake smile but he didn't fool his little sister.

"Okay." She said with a smile as he began to pet the cub just as Weiss came in.

"Oh there you two are. Did you get your outfits?" She asked as Ruby nod but Y/n stayed quiet. "Y/n?"

"I actually decided to swing around Vale tomorrow night. You know to clear my head. Sometimes my mental state breaks and I've recently found that swinging helps." He said smiling "but you two have fun don't let me slow you down." Smiling he left to the bathroom to take a shower.

Weiss looked at him with confusion as she turned to Ruby.

"Is he okay? I thought he was excited for this?" She asked making Ruby shrug her shoulders.

"I don't know. He swung in here kind of depressed." She explained making Weiss look at the bathroom door.

Timeskip.

Y/n swung through the city of Vale without Carnage covering him as he began to think over what happened last night. Launching himself to the pillar of a church he sat on a gargoyle sighing.

"What are you doing up here?" A deep voice asked making Y/n jump before falling but caught himself on a edge looking up he noticed Venom.

"Can you not do that?!" Yelling at the symbiote he noticed it vanish as Eddie appeared.

"What's wrong Y/n? Aren't you supposed to be at school during this hour?" Sitting next to the boy Y/n sighed as he sat next to him.

"I just wanted to swing around Vale for the night." He said but Eddie knew something was up.

"Girl trouble?" He asked making the boy flinch. "I knew it. Talk to me kid."

"I.....I think I like Weiss. I mean I went to ask her to the dance as friends but when I saw her ask Neptune I just felt defeated and upset. I tease her all the time and I ment nothing behind it. Do I truly like Weiss?" He asked as Eddie chuckle.

"Yeah you do. You should tell her though." He said making Y/n shake his head.

"Like i said she likes Neptune." Looking into the sky he sighed.

"Welp. You won't truly know unless you ask her." Eddie pointed out before he pat the boys leg like a friend. "There's still time to ask her. Trust me I had girl trouble but I had some help from Venom. How are you and Carnage doing?"

"Well he's allowing me to swing and climb up walls but we havent really talked so still trying to do that." Just then his scroll went off showing Ruby wanting to do an video call. "What's up Ruby?"

"Where are you right now?" She asked wearing her dress.

"Uhm. Downtown Vale on the church."

"Okay. I would like to cash in my brother coupon." Ruby said as Y/n groaned.

"Ruby I'm not in the mood to come down."

"This coupon is good for one free brother favor. No hurdles shall keep, i, Y/n Branwen from completing this coupon" she read making him sigh.

"What do you want me to do?" Looking at the girl she smiled on the other side.

"I want you to come down here and sing. Yang also wants you to talk to Weiss." She said making him tense up.

"Ruby-" he stopped from being cut off by his little sister.

"She came by herself. You owe us Y/n." She said making him sigh.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." Hanging up he went to speak to Eddie but he was gone. Jumping off the church he dived before swinging to the cliff where he sling shot himself towards the school as he rolled and ran to the dorm room, climbing through the window, he looked for something to where but he only found a outfit that had his sisters hand writing on it saying "wear me."

"I wanted to use my coupon for a strawberry sunrise but this is more important. Do you think she'll say yes?"

"I don't know. But we'll see." Ruby smiled as Yang went to the podium as she saw a shadow flip and land on his feet making his way to the podium.

"Wow you look good in that suit bro." She smiled making him rub his neck.

"Can I just go sing?" Asking his sister Yang nod as she signed him in.

"Oh hang on." She said before walking up to him and fixed his tie. "Better." She smiled making him embarrassed.

"Okay Mister. Follow me." Ruby commanded as she had help from him avoiding Weiss and Neptune before getting on stage. "Uhm excuse me everyone." Shyly she looked at everyone as they turned to her. She said before walking on her devil shoes as the curtain moved away catching Weiss' attention. Ironwood also looked at the stage along with JNPR and Penny.

He finished as the music stopped. Just then the entire auditorium erupted in cheers along with Sun being the most hyped. Weiss looked at the singer as he smiled slightly causing her to smile. Pyrrha clapped along with Jaune as Ren nod and Nora was wishing for an encore.  The teachers but Ozpin clapped as he smiled.

Walking off the stage he was felt embarrassed. "I can't believe I did that. First time singing in front of a group." He chuckled before making his way to Weiss as she had returned to her seat. "Uhm is this seat taken?"

"Please sit." She smiled making him smile back as he took a seat. "What made you come?"

"Ruby but Yang wanted me to tell you something cause the two cashed in their coupons. Can we go out to the balcony?" He asked making her nod.

"Yeah. It's getting kind of hot in here anyways." She smiled making him smile back.

"Welp stage one is complete." The young rose said in triumph with her arms crossed.

"Now stage two." Yang smiled as she watched the two go to the balcony.

"So what was it that Yang wanted you to tell me?" She asked making him nervous.

"Weiss. I just want you to know that these past few weeks almost a month. I've really appreciate everything you've done to help me in my time of need. But I know I can be difficult and can be,well, not mentally stable. But I wanted to ask if you wanted to be more than teammates and friends. You don't have to say yes. Trust me I've been through enough that you don't have to ease me into it-" A sudden suprised in the form of a hug made him jump as he slowly hugged her back.

"You can be annoying when you tease me. But we've both looked out for each other. You can have a hard past. But I won't let you have a hard future. I want to continue to stand by your side. I want to stand next to you as you defeat the man that ruined your life." She said as she hugged him tighter.  "So I'd like to be your girlfriend. You dolt." She smiled as he chuckled.

"But I'm your dolt now." He smiled as he hugged her tighter.

"Yeah. My one and only." She smiled as the stayed like that for a minute.

Ruby and Yang smiled as they stuck their heads out seeing the two embrace.

"Mission accomplished. Now let's go enjoy the dance." Yang smiled as she left with Ruby.

"By the way what was up with you asking Neptune? I thought you had a plus one?" Looking at the schnee she sighed.

" I was practicing to ask you and Neptune was helping me gain my confidence now. I believe you owe me a dance." Weiss said smiling as he chuckled.

"But I've never danced." Smiling he pulled back from Weiss as she smiled back.

"Just think of what comes naturally when we dance." Grabbing his hand she led him to the dance floor as the two just had a good time. Weiss giggled as he began to act goofy when her partner began to dance.

"Well tomorrow it's back to work." Yang said making Ruby upset.

"Yeah. But let's enjoy what we have now. I know Blake,Sun,Weiss and Y/n are." She smiled seeing her brother dance with Weiss along with her brother as Yang watched Blake dance with Sun.  "So how do you think it will go with Weiss and Y/n?"

"I think they'll be just fine." Yang smiled as she watched Y/n and Weiss smile and giggle as the two began to sway with their brothers arms around the ice queen.
