It was early, Nora was putting on her robe, about to get to bed when her phone rang loudly.

With a frown, Nora picked it up, blinking in surprise when she saw it was Blair calling, answering "I don't make booty calls, I call for them, B"

Blair was crying on the other side of the line, "I need a best friend, NB. Please"

Nora's eyes widened, speaking without thinking "I'll be right there"

Nora hung up, pausing as she realized what she said. She then shook her head, knowing that Blair wasn't playing a sick joke on her. Blair didn't cry like that for nothing.

To say Dorota, Blair's maid was utterly surprised when she saw Nora entering their penthouse that late that night but knowing Blair seemed to be a mess when Nate left, knew she had to let her in.

Dorota opened the door to Blair's room, stepping aside to let Nora in.

Nora ran forward, climbing inside Blair's bed, watching the candles around the room and frowned slightly as she watched the girl crying.

"Blair" Nora called softly, brushing Blair's hair away from her tear stained tears, "I'm here, B"

Blair opened her eyes surprised, looking up at Nora who gave her a slight, awkward smile "You came" She said softly.

"You called" Nora told her, "Something you'd never do"

Blair scrunched her face in pain "I needed my best friend"

Nora furrowed her eyebrows, allowing Blair to hug her, putting her face on Nora's shoulder. "What about Serena? She's your best friend too and she's not here. You usually call her first"

Blair tensed at the mention of Serena, "I'm letting it pass you mentioning that witch because I hope you didn't know"

Nora frowned as Blair began to sob again. "What happened?"

Blair sobbed as she hugged tightly the awkward Nora, not even caring she patted Blair's hair awkwardly "She-She..."

And Blair told her everything Nate told her. How a year ago, Serena and Nate had gone behind her back sleeping together. How right after they did that, Serena left and Nate never said anything. How he kept it until she was back. Blair and Nora both knew something was there for the way he sometimes stared after Serena when he thought no one was watching.

Nora never thought Serena would act on that, betraying a friend like that. It made her more determined to not let her in again.

Blair had fallen asleep, feeling safe in Nora's arms whose eyes hadn't closed the entire time, not used to sleeping with someone at her side. However, that didn't stop her from passing a hand through Blair's hair soothingly as her friend slept and she took that time to reflect on what had gone wrong with their friendship.

Nora wasn't wrong when she told Serena that she was the one who kept peace between the two of them but that was because at some point, Nora and Blair clashed with their similar personalities. That's why, whenever Blair needed someone for a scheme, she called Nora. Nora had been raised in a business world so she felt comfortable around deals, and maybe it was wrong but sometimes she saw Blair's friendship as a business contract that when one of them needed emotional comfort she didn't know exactly how to act. Emotions weren't easy for Nora, it took a lot for her to trust someone enough to show them and when she did, she trusted you with everything.

Blair was the same in that aspect and Nora felt surprised she trusted her enough to show how hurt she was over Serena sleeping with her boyfriend. She would've think Blair wouldn't care, she was a cold ice hearted Queen and nothing could bring her down but Nora couldn't be more wrong. Blair, like Nora had feelings they couldn't trust so easily to anyone.

It made her think she actually missed Blair, something she'd never feel about anyone.

When Blair woke up with a slight headache she noticed Nora was on her phone, surprised "When did you wake up?"

"Yesterday at five" Nora answered, putting her phone away, looking at Blair. Blair blinked, still not used to her friend having insomnia, wiping her eyes to get rid of her melt down evidence. Nora didn't mention how puffy her eyes looked or her red nose. "Couldn't sleep"

Blair looked slightly guilty, knowing exactly why Nora couldn't sleep, "Uh, I'm sorry"

Nora shrugged, standing, pushing the blankets away, "Don't be. I wasn't tired anyway" Blair tried to fix her hair, taking a deep breath "I had Dorota bring you breakfast to bed. Wouldn't want your mom to see how a mess in the morning you look like"

Nora grabbed a tray of breakfast and gave it to Blair. She looked like someone who had slept all night, not one hair out of place and make up intact.

Blair paused as she saw the food and hesitated.

Nora scoffed, "I didn't put anything on it, poison is so pathetic and not classy"

Blair was actually thankful Nora wasn't bringing up her break down or Serena or Nate, that she was treating her like she always did but with the added action of protecting her image from her mother and everyone else.

"Thanks" Blair murmured softly as Nora made her way to Blair's closet. "What are you doing?"

"Finding an outfit that screams do not mess with me" Nora answered bluntly. "I mean, how hard would it be to show everyone, specifically those who should not be named that they can't walk over you and leave unscathed?"

Blair blinked in surprise, "Wait, what?"

"Girls like us Blair, have power" Nora turned to face her. "We can't give anyone power to hurt us. No one's above you. Everyone should be bowing to your feet. Including your, what ex boyfriend now?"

Blair straightened up at each word leaving Nora's mouth, knowing she was right. She was a queen, no one could bring her down.

"You're totally right" Blair told her as she threw her blankets away. Nora just smirked as she gave her a dress. "They can't walk over a queen. I won't let them"

"Exactly" Nora told her, smiling slightly. "You show them"

Blair nodded, relieved.

Gossip Girl (Voice Over): "Spotted, hand in hand like it was old times, Queen B and NB shopping like there was no bad blood between them. I wonder, what happened for these exclusive queens to put aside their metaphorical swords against each other?"

Surprisingly, for even both girls, Blair and Nora spent all morning together, having gone to shopping for last minute accessories for the party.

Blair was already forgetting what happened between Nate and Serena and Nora who had told Will and Chad they could have her suite for themselves all morning was having a good time.

Or it was until Blair got a text from Nate when they were having lunch at one of their favorite restaurants from where there were three of them.

Blair made a face at her phone, hesitating "It's Nate. He wants to talk"

Nora looked up, grabbing Blair's phone, "I'm guessing, either Nate is regretting everything and wants to apologize or he will confess his connection to who shall not be named and leave you for her"

Blair looked slightly amused for how Nora referred to Serena but bit on her lip in worry, "He did tell me what happened between them when she didn't. I don't think he'll leave me"

Nora smirked. "Did I mention Prince Charming is better than Nate?"

"Once upon a time I would have argued against that but now-" Blair began, a little hesitant and slight disgusted that made Nora's smirk grow, "Ugh, Wilson is not that bad" her expression softened, looking at Nora for a moment, "Specially since the way he treats you"

Nora tried to ignore that, knowing her 'relationship' with Chad was just a cover for him and Will from their families. She was just the good friend helping their incredible romance.

"Whatever" Nora told her. "Now, what are we going to do with Nate?"

Blair considered, "Knowing him, being so noble for telling me the truth" Both girls rolled their eyes at that, "He's going to ask for forgiveness and I'm going to accept it" Nora opened her mouth to protest but Blair smirked, raising her finger "Give me a sec, Nor darling. I haven't finished. We both know Nate has a thing for Serena. And I don't like being betrayed"

Nora slowly realized what Blair was planning, "You want to torture both of them"

Blair nodded, "And we both know Serena wants to fix her friendship with us. Why don't we make her believe she's winning us but in reality she's making everything worse for herself?"

"I knew you spent too much time with me" Nora told her with a mischievous smile.

Blair returned the smile.

Nora was putting her last touches of her makeup. She was waiting for either Chad or Will to pick her up.

Whenever a party happened, she made the two boys to flip a coin to see who would be her escort for the night. At first she'd thought they'd be against this but to her confusion this method had been working pretty well for the past year.

Today, her escort was Will. Her best friend whom people thought she was screwing behind Chad's back.

Nora smiled in amusement at her reflection. If only they knew.

"Ready, dearie?" Will entered the room with a big smile, hands in his pockets. "Limo's downstairs waiting. I called one so we wouldn't share with your brother" Nora gave him an amused look but didn't seem to mind he did that, "Hope you don't mind"

"Chad?" Nora asked, grabbing her purse.

Will smiled mischievously, "Little dazed" Nora gave him a deadpan look making him chuckle, "Oh, right. You meant where he was not that"

"Ha, ha" Nora shook her head slightly, unable to stop her smile from growing. This made Will grin in triumph. "You're hilarious. I assume he's already there?"

"Obviously" Will gestured at his elbow. Nora linked her arm around his forearm, "Let's go then"

Reaching the party, immediately Nora and Will made their mission to find Blair

"You know, I'm actually glad you're spending time with Blair" Will told her as he sipped the glass of champagne he grabbed. "Spending too much time with me or Chad was making you lose that feminine touch"

Nora pushed him aside, "Shut up" Will smiled amused. "But for the record, Mr Officer, spending time with Blair now isn't that bad"

"Because you two have a common enemy" Will whispered in her ear making her shiver slightly, giving him a look, "Sorry, Chad told me. You know the boy, he's our gossip.. Boy"

Nora didn't miss the way he emphasized the word 'our' but like every time she ignored the assumption, believing it was accidental.

"Oh, there you are" Blair spotted them, walking closer and stopped when she noticed Will, hesitating slightly, "William"

"Queen B" Will greeted pleasantly, amused. Nora pinched his arm making him hiss, "Ouch, Nor. Easy, I'm playing nice here"

"All I ever want, dearie" Nora told him.

Blair gave Nora a small smile, remembering their talk about them having the power.

Nora smiled.

Will looked between them, "I know where I'm not wanted. See you later, my lady"

Will bowed slightly to Nora, giving Blair a small curt nod, walking away.

Blair watched him go, glancing at Nora teasingly "Huh, you do know how to keep a leash around your boys"

"I train them well" Nora played along. "Now tell me what happened with Nate" Blair looked at her curiously. "What? Will told me I'm losing my feminine touch for not having a girlfriend around. I'm making that up by having you spill your boy troubles"

Blair chuckled, shaking her head, "I missed how blunt you are" Nora shrugged. "We were right. Nate did exactly what we expected him to do"

Nora opened her mouth to ask for more when whispering break out, people pulling out their phones.

Between the whispering, Nora and Blair caught words of 'Serena's here?', 'she wasn't invited', Blair's going to flip'.

Blair and Nora exchanged looks as Is and Katy walked up to them showing them the text message.

"Serena's here" Katy told them.

Blair frowned, "What is she doing here? She wasn't invited"

Blair walked away, making her way through the crowd.

Nora quirked her eyebrows as she followed slowly, a bored and uncaring look that slipped through her face the moment she heard Serena's name.

Nate stopped Blair before she could reach Serena "Blair, come on, are you really gonna kick her out?" he glanced toward his best friend's sister, "Nora?"

"Not my party" Nora glanced at her nails in boredom.

Blair scoffed, putting up a show "Did you invite her?"

Serena was watching and listening.

Nora smirked slightly.

Nate looked shocked she'd think that way "What? No! God! I told you"

Blair glanced at the pointed look from Nora, looking at Nate coldly "Do not talk to her"

Nate shook his head, "I was going for a walk"

Nate walked away, passing Serena without looking at her. Nora looked pleased. Serena stared at them.

Blair and Nora stared back, standing shoulder to shoulder.

Blair, Nora, Chuck and Will watched from the entrance how Serena left with a guy and the Jenny nobody in a cab.

Blair had her arms crossed. Will had an arm around Nora's shoulders as she leaned against him comfortably.

"She better not show her face again" Blair told them.

Chuck smirked, glancing at his sister "I'm actually hoping she will"

Nora pursed her lips to hide her amusement, shaking her head.

Will leaned to Nora's ear, "Me too"
