Chapter Seventeen

Danica swung off of her grappling hook in her search for you, as Robin she bounded from roof to roof and slid down the sides of smaller buildings and searched high and low for you, sometimes she'd come across Ben as White Bat and tell him where shes already looked, telling him to go double check just to make sure she didn't miss anything. Though she told him it was close to impossible that the girl missed anything, still to be safe he decided to check.

Whenever she spotted the other Robin, the Older one, she decided she would off in the other direction. It was pretty much hell right here, right now. Fire was everywhere, gas of unknown origin was inside buddings. The gs had a green hue and whenever Danica got too close to it, she would start feeling light headed as a sense of overwhelming joy filled her senses. Whenever she felt it, she quickly backed off. Joker gas.

here was one building in particular that stuck out with her, s she perched on the top of a gargoyle like statue on the top of a building around the lot, she tapped the side of her domino mask. A low beeping noise emulated through her ears, as the mask registered her finger prints, index finger not even needing to apply too much pressure. The tactical setting turned on in her mask, on the outside her red lenses lit up, it was something the mask did when activated.

Everything went a dark shade of blue, but the important things in her line of vision lit up. Seeing skeletons of figures through the walls, there was a lot of people moving around, attacking each other. She found in on every person, everyone's heart rate was well over 90 bpm, nobody was calm and the condition everyone was in was nervous and terrified.

She noticed how some bodies were unmoving . hence she would focus on it for further investigation, When she did? It would appear they have no heart rate. They are deceased. Joker had released some of his gas, and it turned out unpleasant, to put it lightly.

Danica kept focusing on different things, fixing her setting to heat signatures to capture you, since you seemed to have a bit of a below average body temperature, it was her was her way of finding you as of the moment. Since she's never been able to officially scan your body while she was wearing the domino mask with all the high tech, the mask would not recognize you imply by uploading some of your files to it. There were just some things her father made sure not to include in the package of being Robin. But still, one cant completely complain about such thing like this when she has her own Robin-Mech suit, Sadly, Bart told her it would be too dangerous to bring the heavily armored suit back to this place with her. She would stand out too much.

The moment she found a below average body temperature on her heat signature scanner, she zoomed in on the figure behind several walls, this figure was female, your age, your height, your weight, and the profile seemed to be perfect when she switched over to the facial recognition scanner. Which basically made a model out of what the person would look like baed on the unique bone structure of the human being being watched. Since the tech inside her mask is impossible of capturing images like such through walls, this part of the mask came in handy quite often. And by doing this the mask could remember certain people.

It was great for trying to figure out the secret identity of superheros. They wouldn't always match p, though. Some files are hidden from even the government, which means its hidden from the computer chip in Danica's mask.

The figure that the computer chip in her mask now saw as you, was hunched over a smaller body. You seemed to be holding a very large sized rock above your head, and from the looks of it the rock was so heavy your bones were about to give in. She could see hairline fractures that begged to form in your humerus and radius, severe bruising to the tissue of your left deltoid. Almost as if that rock had been slammed into your arm, hard. It would be like smashing a bowling ball into your hand. Danica cringed at the feeling of knowing you're going to feel that when you come to your senses. And since you're outside, it shouldn't be that long. he assumes you haven't gotten a good whiff of the stuff, but enough to drive you a bit batty.

"(Y/n).." Danica mumbled to herself, getting ready to jump off of the vantage point from where she perched. But instead to heavy boots to the center of her back that knocked her off of the point caused her to fall. Whoever kicked her must have come from behind from high. Gliding from an even higher point in the dome, whoever this was had aimed directly for the center of her back.

Danicas teeth gritted, her eyes winced as she groaned in pain from the shaking feeling her bones gave her. Danica could see you lifting the rock even higher above your head, if you're doing what she thinks you're doing...god.

Danica hit the round with a loud thud, wincing in pain. The armor that protected her body was only so strong, she did still feel pain. As much as she hated it, it was an important thing.

She stared up at the dark sky, breathing heavily with her back pressed to the ground. She was in so much pain. She cringed, biting down on her lower lip and breathing heavily. She fell a pretty good height, she could still feel her bones shaking from the intense difference her body felt t that moment. She hates it, whenever she feels safe and then something out of expectation happens. Of course. Danica is a smart girl, she takes after her father. She has his intellect. But she has a habit of glossing over important details in a moment of crisis.

It wasn't long before her attacked showed himself, gliding from the vantage point of which she was perched on, he came down to her and landed with grace and authority. It was Robin, well, this Robin. Danica knew that this is where things get the most complicating out of all of her situations he had foreseen in her mind.

He had a pissed off expression, to say the least of it all. His hands angrily crossed over his arms, as he stared at the girl before him. Without the armor, she would have surely died from the impact.

"Who are you, tell me now." He demanded, glaring at Danica beneath his own Domino mask. Danica groaned, loudly, at this. She had no time for his stupid fits of annoyance, his insufferable second-hand hate. It was too troublesome for her at the moment.

So he said something that she knew would make this Robin aid her side, for a moment or at the very least five minutes. It pained her, to ask for his help. But she needed it, and since she knew who this Robin was she felt in shame in seeking out his name in the form of words that escaped her lips.

"(Y/n) will kill someone. Help me, Damian. Or allow yourself to live with the fact the blood on her hands is truly your fault." She started, Danica smirked when she saw the look on Robins face when she spoke his name, it turned into a look that consisted of being scared, angry and confused. Mostly angry, but it was leaning more on the confused side. HE was only simply scared because if this other Robin knew who he was, she could have known of the others as well.

"We would't want anymore blood on your hands than there already is, right?" She finishes, this time? It was definitely more of a look of anger on his face if anything.
