Almost a month had passed by. It seemed to drag on forever, but now, it was finally the night of the Spring Fling.

I was.. fairly nervous, to say the least. Yet, I was excited at the same time.

Regina George had asked me to the Spring Fling. It seemed almost unbelievable — it was a dream come true.

I had driven to her house to pick her up. I couldn't help but think, this would probably be very, very awkward. I mean, I was just wearing a simple shirt since I didn't have time to get anything 'fancy.'

I huffed then quickly rid myself from my thoughts. Come on, it'd be a fun night. Regina asked you to go to the Spring Fling with her. She wanted to go with you - of all people. It's gonna be fine!

That thought seemed to calm me down - just a bit. So, I finally exited my car then walked up to the entrance to Regina's mansion. I reached up to knock on the door but Mrs. George already beat me to it.. somehow.

"Y/N! Hi!" She breathed heavily while waving. "Regina should be here soon."

I nodded my head, directing my gaze to the floor. "Okay." I quietly said.

A few moments later, Regina had stood in front of me. She looked beautiful — even with her spinal halo. "Hi."

"H-hey," I stuttered, looking pretty much everywhere except Regina herself. "You ready?"

"Mhmmm." Regina hummed, walking closer to me to intertwine our hands.

"Okay." I mumbled, blushing slightly which earned a quiet laugh from her.

"You're cute. Now come on, let's go."

We walked into the gymnasium which they had set up for the Spring Fling. Lights were decorated everywhere, catchy music blasted from the speakers. It looked beautiful, it seemed like something from a movie almost.

"It's really pretty." Regina murmured. "I'm glad I asked you."

"I — thank you." I breathed, unsure of how to respond to her.

"I also have to apologize for something." She looked at me. "Well, for a lot of things."

"It's okay, Regina. We all make mistakes."

"I know," she started. "But I spread the Burn Book through out the whole school and so much more. Cady took the blame, and as much as I hate to admit it, I feel.. guilty."

"Look. Regina. You forgave me, right?" The blonde mumbled a quiet, 'Yes'. "And I'll forgive you. And so might others, it'll just take time."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

"I don't know what I did to deserve you." Regina smiled, her eyes seemingly sparkled. I've never seen her look so happy.

"I should be the one saying that, Regina. I mean - you are.. well.. you!"

She blushed bright pink, trying her best not to smile. "Oh, stop.."

I snickered. "Fine."

Karen and Gretchen suddenly rushed up to the two of us. Well, Karen was dragging her. "Hi!" Karen waved, a huge grin on her face.

"Hi Karen." I glanced over at Gretchen. "Are you guys Spring Fling dates?"

Karen frantically nodded her head, still grinning. "Yeah! We are!"

Gretchen quickly pecked Karen's temple which caused the shorter blonde to blush.

Regina quietly laughed. "Wow. We all turned out to be gay." she carefully wrapped her arm around my waist.

A few moments later, an announcement went off —that they were naming the Spring Fling king and queen.

Cady ended up winning, she did a short speech and it ended with her snapping and handing out pieces of the crown she had won.

Regina caught one, Karen caught one, and Gretchen caught one. So did I, but I handed mine to Kevin Gnapoor since he didn't get one and he wouldn't stop begging everyone around him.

"Why'd you do that, Y/N?" Regina tilted her head. "I mean I don't mind that you gave it to him, but I'm just wondering."

"I dunno." I shrugged. "I wanted to be nice — I guess?"

Regina smiled at me. "Ah okay.. you'll still be my queen, though." Her smile turned into a grin.

"You're so cheesy." I scrunched up my nose but blushed at her comment, nonetheless.

"And you love it. You're blushing." Regina got closer to me.

"Well yeah. I guess so, but-"

Regina suddenly leaned in and placed her lips on mine, her spinal halo somehow not messing it up.

A warm feeling spread through my body. Of course, I blushed bright red, eventually kissing her back.

..Regina George, was not so evil after all.
