Y/N's POV

Mom and Dad looked at both of us, tears in their eyes.

Both? Oh. Cady and me. Cady, my fraternal twin sister, meaning, we look different... she is older by 2 minutes... and she won't let it go. Both of us are sixteen years old.

We both arrived at school... yayyy? Mom hugged both of us tightly, along with dad.

We both pulled away. "Good luck." Mom smiled, tears now falling.

Emotional much? Cady started to walk to school, but a bus rushed by on the road, she yelped, then jumped back. "I'm ok, I'm ok." She shakily said.

We both then started walking to school. "Ok, how much is this going to suck?" I said.

She shrugged. "Ehh. Dunno." Cady then glanced at me. "Probably a lot."

I nodded in agreement.

The school yard was crowded. And I mean, crowded. People shoving each other, people jamming out to loud music... I have found my people! Yet, Cady looks super nervous.

"What do you have?" I asked, Cady.

She pulled out her schedule. "Ms. Norbury..."

"Same!" I cheered.

Cady seemed eased by this, and she smiled. "Ok..." she paused, then smiled. "We should go get some ice cream after this!" She cheered.

"Oh my gosh, YES!" I agreed.

Briiinggg

"Ok, let's get to class." Cady said. "I don't think I want a tardy on our first day of school."

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Whatever, math geek."

She pouted, then ruffled my hair. "Whatever, little sis."

"HEY!" I groaned. "Only by two minutes."

"Best two minutes of my life." She smirked.

"You can't live without me and you know it." I crossed my arms.

"Whatever. Let's just get to class."

"Can you two introduce yourselves?" Ms. Norbury asked, smiling... even though her shirt is soaking wet from, Cady running into her, making Ms. Norbury spill coffee on herself... I could've drank that.

"I'm, Y/N." I paused. "Her sister."

"And I'm, Cady. We just moved here from, Africa."

Ms. Norbury smiled again. "Ok, take you're seats, class!"

Cady was struggling where to sit, and I just awkwardly trailed behind her, letting her be embarrassed. Hah... she kinda deserves it. The struggle is real, Cady. The struggle is real.

Finally, Cady sat down, luckily enough, I got a seat behind her. Go me!

"Is that your natural hair color?" A tall guy examined, Cady's hair color.

She nodded, smiling shyly. He then grabbed her hair, and put it up to his. "You see, this is the color I want." He said, To I think, the girl by him.

"This is, Damian. He's almost to gay to function." The girl beside... Damian said.

"Oh my gosh, me too!" I said, acting like we were long lost friends.

"Yo! We are gonna be best friends..." He stopped, asking my name.

"...You weren't paying attention up there... where you?" I smirked.

"Yesssss." He said, faking embarrassment.

"I'm, Y/N." I pointed to, Cady. "And that's, Cady. Spelt, 'C' 'A' 'D' 'Y'."

"Yo! Did you just forget about me?" The girl beside, Damian barged into the conversation. "I'm, Janis." She smiled.

We all awkwardly shook each others hands. "We are forever awkward." I said, smiling AWKWARDLY.

"Yes!" Cady said, making her voice sorta deep... awkwardness!

"That should be our group chat's name!" Damian cheered, while writing his number on a piece of paper.

"And mine! Don't forget me, I know I'm forgettable but not thaaat forgettable." Janis smirked, then wrote her number.

"Thanks." Cady said, putting the notes on her pocket.

!Brriiiinggg!

"What do you have next?" Janis asked, standing up.

Cady and I pulled out our schedules. "Health." We both said. "YES!!!" We high fived each other.

"That's the in back building." Janis and Damian both looked at each other. "We'll take you there."

Cady and I nodded. "Ok."
