*Sanjay Pov*

"Uhmm.. Akhila Di!" I said going near her.

"Yes?" She asked turning around from the stove.

"Do you guys by any chance have Kritika's old photos here?" I asked her and she looked at me frowning.

"Yeah! They are in my parent's room we left in this house. Why?" She asked stirring the curry.

"Nothing! By the way food is amazing." I said and left the kitchen when she nodded smiling at me.

"Why do you want to even know about them?" Someone asked and I jumped.

"Kalyan! Don't scare me like that again." I said patting my back.

"Tell me! Why do you need to know where the photos are?" He asked again.

"I will tell you a secret and don't tell anyone else." I replied and he nodded.

"Next week it is Kritika's birthday. So I am planning to do a slide show with her baby photos." I said and he fumed.

"Who gave you that idea?" He asked still fuming.

"It is my own idea." I replied shrugging.

"No need to act but tell me is it Bharghav Uncle's?" He asked and I looked at him in shock.

"How do you know that?" I asked him shocked.

"He gave me the same idea." He replied and now I am the one that if fuming along with him.

Thank god! I have another surprise in my mind already along with this. I am not going to leave this idea.

*Kalyan Pov*

"How can you give the same idea to both of us?" I asked Bharghav Sir.

"Why? What happened?" He asked back.

"What happened? We just decided to do everything and now we get to know that someone else is doing the same and that too on the same day." Sanjay replied for me.

"Look I only searched one thing in the teenage section and I gave it to both of you. Now you can decide within yourself who wants to go with it and who wants to drop it." He said shrugging.

"I am not going to back down." Sanjay said.

"Me too!" I said thinking about another surprise which I am going to do along with this.

"See problem solved." He said and started walking away.

"No! You are going to help us." I said stopping him.

"Why should I?" He asked frowning.

"They are in your future In-Laws room so you can take it on your shoulders if they caught us." Sanjay replied.

"But..." He started to say and we both shook our heads.

"Fine!" He said sighing.

"What are you three doing here? We are playing Antakshari." Priya Di said walking towards us.

"We will be there." Bharghav said.

"That is such a boring game. We should play 'Never have I ever'." Ri said walking towards us.

"I will tell Mom that you drink." Kritika said following her.

"We need not have hard drinks for this game idiot. We can settle for soft." Ri said rolling her eyes.

"Let's just go!" Sanjay said and we all walked towards the two groups and settled with the boys.

"Guys a small tip. My Bhai is so poor at this." Khushi said smirking.

"Guys a small threat. Sanjay is awesome in this." Another girl said.

"How do you know that Latika?" Kritika asked her.

"Well he won a prize in this type of competition." Latika said smirking.

"That was singing competition." Sanjay said rolling his eyes.

"And what do you actually sing? Songs right!" She said making him groan.

"After this competition when everyone sleeps we will go to that room." Sanjay whispered.

"But what about my In-Laws?" Bharghav asked.

"That room is filled with all the stuff so I am sure they will not sleep there. At present they are in Kritika's room and other elders left the house." Sanjay replied.

"How do you know?" I asked him.

"When I went to my house to bring the extra bedsheets, I peeked inside." Sanjay replied.

"You should stop doing that." Bharghav said shaking his head.

"Whatever! So plan is on?" Sanjay asked.

"It is!" I said and Bharghav nodded reluctantly.

*Akhila Pov*

"We don't know about Khushal. Because he should talk before he can sing right?" Ramya asked and everyone laughed at that.

"I am sure Akhila knows about that." Rani said bumping my shoulder with hers.

I sighed but didn't lift my gaze on him fully knowing he is sitting infront of me. Everyone started singing.

In boys team Sanjay and his friends are unsurprisingly good but in ours Ri is good surprising all of us.

"Now it is Khushal's turn." Kritika said and I turned to see that she is smirking.

"I don't know any song." He said shrugging.

"But you know how to fight right? So try to sing." Kritika said.

"I will just go to my room and look at the bills." I said and got up walking towards the stairs.

I just walked inside my room and rubbed my face. I sat on my chair near the table and started looking at the bills.

"Can I say something?" I heard the unmistakable voice.

"I am busy!" I replied.

"I will leave fighting completely for you." He said and I just sat stunned in my chair.

I got up and turned to see him standing near the door. I walked near the balcony in my room and said "But you love fighting."

"I do! But I want you." He said making me close my eyes.

"Will you be happy without it in your life?" I asked him looking directly into his eyes.

"No! But I am ready to leave it." He replied.

I gave a humorless laugh and said "I want you to leave it but I don't want you to leave it just for me and stay unhappy."

"You are ok with it?" he asked.

"No! I want you to leave it but I don't want you to be leaving it and stay unhappy." I replied.

"Then that will be impossible for us to stay together." He said frowning.

"That's what I want. I want our getting back together to be impossible." I said in complete blank tone.

"I know I did a mistake and there are no excuses to that but please I... I love you." He said and I closed my eyes.

"Do you really love me? From when?" I asked him.

"I don't know! But from way before." He replied walking towards me but I stopped him showing my hand.

"Why did you kiss her then when you know fully I am there?" I asked him.

"I... I was feeling that adrenaline rush and then anger. She did that and I let her and I too did that." He replied.

I held the balcony door tightly hearing two words 'Adrenaline rush' and 'Anger'.

"I don't think I want to watch that movie Ri." I said lying on my bed holding the phone to my ear.

"But I already told Mom that you are with us and that is the reason she even sent us to the theatre. And these are the holidays for Kri and me then we have to join some boring engineering college. Please Di!" She said whining.

"I will not let her know that I am in the house. Now return fast after the movie." I said and hanged up.

I pressed my forehead and suddenly I heard the loud shouts from downstairs. I frowned and slowly walked down near the stairs and started climbing down one after the other.

Then saw that Mom and Dad are fighting. It was a big shock for me as I never saw them fighting directly even though I know when they did.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I am not cheating? I am just busy with the work." Dad shouted at her.

"I don't believe you completely. You did once and there is no doubt that you can do it again." Mom said and my eyes just went wide.

"That was twenty years ago and you know I will not do it again. And we already decided that we will forget about it." He said banging the wall.

"Forget it? How can we ever forget it when the result for that mistake is with us at present?" Mom asked him and I just frowned still not able to make it reasonable in my mind.

"I was feeling adrenaline rush and anger when I got drunk because of our fight. She was there throwing herself and I did it. I told you this many times and still you are taunting me with it everytime we fight." Dad said sighing.

"If you had not feeling all those then she would have not got pregnant in the first place." Mom said and I stopped the gasp from my mouth covering it with my hand.

"I know it was a mistake but I can't do anything about it now can I? I didn't have any affair and it was just once and trust me I am not cheating." Dad said pleading her.

"I don't want someone else to send some letter after few years saying there is a child of yours in some orphan. We already got Akhila like that." Mom said and I just stumbled on the stairs and sat there.

"She should never know about all this." Dad said looking at Mom.

"Ofcourse Not! I will die before she gets to know this." Mom said holding her head.

I just walked back into my room robotically without making any sound and cried hard without making any sound placing a pillow covering my mouth.

I was a mistake? And I am not her daughter? I thought and cried more.

"Hey!" I came out of my thoughts when someone shook me.

"Please don't cry! That will never happen again." He said looking at me.

"No, no! We should never be together. You will get that rush and that anger again later and then you will cheat on me. Then.. then there will be another Akhila in this world. No, that can't happen. You should stay away from me." I said pacing in the balcony.

"What are you saying?" he asked touching my shoulder.

"Don't touch me! We shouldn't be together. You will cheat on me in future feeling the same emotions and I don't have my Mom's heart to forgive you when you do that. We shouldn't be together. We shouldn't be..." I said holding my head and let the tears fall.

"You know?" I heard a new voice and turned to see Mom and Dad standing near the door.

They heard everything! Which I never wanted them to. I wanted to hide the fact that I knew forever but now they know.

I fell on my knees and hugged myself nodding.......

So that is the past and in the next one there will be little more.... Some already guessed this so i know this is not a surprise :)
