*Kritika Pov*

"Sanjay! We will be at your house in two hours. Will that time is enough for you to finish your task?" One of his friends Harsha asked him.

"Sure Harsha! I think two hours is enough for this." Sanjay replied looking at me.

What? What task? And why is he looking at me?

I looked around to see that Di already left with UK and Ri left with those dustbin guys. And my friends too left the campus just few minutes back.

I looked around the parking lot to see most of them have left and I have been waiting all this time for Sanjay here. Now when he finally comes here, he is talking like this.

Then I looked at a person coming towards parking lot and sighed in relief looking at him. He is one of the dustbin guys that I saw that day.

I rushed near him and said "Hey!"

"Hey!" he said smiling awkwardly and looks like he is remembering what I did that day.

"How are you?" I asked him plastering a smile on my face so that he will talk with me.

I don't want Sanjay to think that I am all alone here. The person infront of me just nodded smiling and left me alone just like that.

"Who is he?" I heard Sanjay asking me.

"No one!" I replied disappointingly.

"Is he your new crush?" Sanjay suddenly asked when we reached near his bike.

"What?" I asked him shocked.

"Latika told me that you got new crush right? Is he the one?" He asked looking at me after getting on his bike.

I remembered it but didn't think of telling either truth or a lie. So I just shrugged and got on his bike calmly.

He drove us to his house and like yesterday he started walking towards the door while I just stood in the lawn itself.

"My Mom is there." He said looking at me.

I raised my eyebrow not knowing what to do. He sighed and shouted "Mom! Are you inside?"

"Why are you shouting? Ofcourse I am inside." I heard a lady's voice and sighed in relief.

We both walked inside and saw a women walking towards us. She was frowning for a second and suddenly smiled looking at me.

"Who is she Sanjay?" She asked him.

"She is my classmate Mom. I am tutoring her Maths." He replied.

"Oh! Where do you live... I am sorry I didn't get your name." She started asking one question but then remembered that she didn't know my name.

"My name is Kritika Aunty. And I live in the house beside yours." I said smiling.

"Beside? As in you are our neighbor?" She asked looking at me.

When I nodded she suddenly looked at Sanjay and then at me. Then said "Oh!" not one time but many times.

"I am so glad that I finally met you." She suddenly said hugging me while my eyes went wide.

What is she talking about? I thought and looked at Sanjay to say something but he himself stood there dumbstruck.

After releasing me she caressed my cheek and said "I never thought I will meet you but now I am happy that Sanjay brought you home. It's like my wish come true."

"Mom! She is here to get tutored." Sanjay said looking at her confused.

"No! She is here as my Daughter-In-Law." When she said that Sanjay and I immediately jumped back shouting "What?"

Looking at our expression she suddenly laughed and said "I was being sarcastic."

"Thank god!" I mumbled along with Sanjay.

"And for my behavior it is because she is the first girl I saw you apologized. And that too standing on the road, so I felt happy finally meeting the girl." She said making me look at her with wide eyes.

"Oh! You heard me that day right?" Sanjay asked and she nodded smiling.

"When you said you are our neighbor I immediately understood you must be her. Now start your studies I will bring some snacks." She said walking inside.

"No need for that Aunty. I will have them in my house after the tutoring." I said stopping her.

"I heard that all of you are girls in that house. You all must be missing home food as far as I know. I will bring some food for you all sometimes." She suddenly said like she should have done that already.

"We never miss home food Aunty. My elder sister cooks very delicious food and it resembles my Mom's food. Actually even my Mom complains sometimes that her daughter cooks better food than herself." I said smiling proudly about my sister.

"That is so sweet. I so wanted to have siblings like that." She said smiling at me.

After sometime when she left, Sanjay started walking towards his room but I didn't follow him.

"We will sit here." I said gesturing the couch in the living room.

"I have a table in my room where we will be comfort to study well." He said looking at me.

"It's ok! I will be fine here." I said and sat on the couch.

He sighed and sat beside me. He started explaining few more chapters and patiently heard my doubts.

"So what are your plans for tomorrow?" He asked when I started packing my books.

"Plans? Why?" I asked him confused.

"You will be there in the party right?" He asked back.

"Ofcourse! I will be there." I replied getting up.

"Good! I want you to be there." He said giving his oh so charming smile.

"Excuse me! That is college party and not your own party. So I am going to be there as a student of that college." I said frowning and started walking away.

"But still I really want you to be there." He said and I rushed towards the door hearing his chuckle.

I was about to open the door but it got opened itself and I shouted "Alien!" looking at the person infront of me.

"Again?" he asked me back.

"Alien!" I whispered and backed way.

At the same time I heard Sanjay and his Mom saying "Alien?"

"Alien!" I said pointing at the man infront of me.

"Ms.Kritika! Even after all these months you are calling me the same?" Princi asked chuckling.

"See he is Alien. Who laughs when someone calls them Alien?" I said looking at Sanjay hoping he will accept my point.

He looked me completely confused and then at Princi and finally asked "Dad! What is going on?"

"Alien is your Dad?" I asked him after few seconds.

"I mean our Principal is your Dad?" I asked him again and he nodded at me.

"Is she the one you talked about that day?" Suddenly Aunty asked Alien I mean Principal.

"Yeah! She is the one who called me that." Principal replied chuckling.

He is making sure that his nick name suits him by every passing second. Who laughs like that when someone insults them?

"Then her sister must be Akhila." Aunty said and he nodded.

"I didn't know that your Dad is.... Principal." I said looking at Sanjay.

"No one knows except my close friends." He said and I nodded.

"I am sorry sir." I said looking at the Principal.

"It's ok Dear. I actually felt funny when you are calling me that. No one called me like that." He said laughing.

I looked at Sanjay pointing at his Dad showing him how right my nickname is but they all just laughed.

I frowned and walked away from there. Then I calmly entered my house to see Ritika sleeping on the couch.

I sat on the floor near her still frowning thinking that my neighbor is our Principal. Then my mood immediately lifted.

I only know that and Ri doesn't know that. Now I can gloat infront of her saying that I know more things than her.

So when Di entered the house I immediately pulled her near the couch and shook Ri completely.

"What?" Ri asked shouting getting up.

"I need to tell you guys a secret." I said excitingly and then in few minutes we all got settled down.

"I never thought this would be possible but it is. I mean I still can't believe it." I said and they both groaned looking at me.

"You have been telling the same thing for the past few minutes." Di said looking at me.

"Ok, ok! Do you guys know who is Alien's I mean Principal's son?" I asked them eagerly.

When they will shake their heads I will tell them that I know and then grin with all the effort I can.

"You know about him too?" Suddenly Di asked damping all my plans.

"What Di?" I asked her in whisper hoping that I didn't hear her correctly.

"You too know about him?" She asked me again.

"I never get succeed in anything." I said wailing a little and finally nodded at her.

"How do you know about him?" Di asked.

"When I went to his house I saw Princi there." I replied trying to be sound normal and not disappointed.

"What? You went to his house? But how could you go to his house?" Di suddenly asked completely shocked.

"I have been going there for two days Di." I replied confused.

"How could you go to his house when he is with me?" Di asked and I looked at her not even understanding a thing.

"You both stop right now and tell me about whom you are talking about one after the other." Ri suddenly said rolling her eyes.

"Khushal!" "Sanjay!" We both said at the same time.

"What?" Di and I said again.

"Now, now! I understood that there is confusion from the moment you both started talking about it." Ri said proudly.

"You must have mistaken Kritika. Khushal is Princi's son." Di said smiling.

"No Di! Sanjay is the one. I even met Princi and Sanjay's mother." I said looking at her.

"Mother?" Di asked me in shock.

I nodded and suddenly Ri shouted "Does that mean Princi is our neighbor?"

"Yes! If Sanjay is our neighbor then Princi is also our neighbor right." I replied rolling my eyes.

"So Di, Khushal is also Princi's son then." Ri said ignoring me while Di nodded at us frowning.

"Oh my gosh! They both are brothers then." I suddenly shouted.

"Oh yes! And is that why they both always glare at each other?" Ri asked looking at us both.

"Maybe! But wow I mean I never expected this. Wait a minute!" I again suddenly shouted.

"What?" Ri asked.

"Does that mean our UK is also our neighbor?" I asked her.

"But we never saw him here right and he always drives away and comes here from opposite direction." Ri replied.

"Maybe he is staying at his friends place or something." I reasoned out after few minutes.

We both looked at Di who is still sitting there with a big frown. I shook Di along with Ri and then she came out of her thoughts.

"What happened?" I asked her frowning.

"Nothing! I will just go and cook some dinner for us." Saying that she got up and walked away.

I looked at Ri not understanding and she too shrugged. Then I slowly talked her about what happened at Sanjay's place and she laughed hearing how I called our Princi an Alien again.

Finally after Dinner we went to our own rooms and I drifted off into sleep after finishing some study.
