CHAPTER 16

We walked through the park holding hands, it was saturday morning and all the kids were at the park.A little boy came up to me crying. "I lost my mommy!"

I picked him up." Where did you last see her?"

He pointed at the swings. I walked him over to them. Then a lady with brown hair, brown eyes, a blue shirt, and shorts came running up and thanked me for finding him. I smiled." It's no problem."

"Thank you so much I don't know what I would have done." I smiled and walked away. I went back to Adam and held his hand again. "Soo don't you think it would great to have a little baby?" I looked at him.

"Violet we are going out and I love you, you love me so why don't we make a family."

"You want a family?"

"Yes I think it would be great to be a dad. I could be the father I never had and you could be the mother you always wanted." I looked at him and felt he was right it would be great.

"But I don't know Adam it would be a lot of responsibility, and I'm only 16 and you're only 17." He put his head down. We walked home.

"Hey guys."

"Hey Caroline."

"Soo how are you?"

"Fine," I said.

"Good."

We sat at the table for dinner. Caroline helped Mary pass out the food. Adam and I passed smiles every time we looked up. After we finished we went up to his room and watched movies until I fell asleep.

A MONTH LATER....

I woke up from my bed feeling sick. I had that feeling you get before you throw up so I went running to the bathroom. I puked just as I reached the toilet. I thought I was getting the flu so I went to Mary. "Mary." I said holding my stomach.

"Yes dear."

"I feel sick. Oh okay well get your jacket and we will go to the doctor."

"K." I grabbed my jacket and went downstairs Adam had left for school and Caroline went to work. I got in the car and Mary drove me to the hospital. The doctor came in and asked for my name, age, and if I had any allergies to medication. Then asked me if I'd had sex in the past month. I looked at Mary and said yes.

"Well we're going to need some urine and do a standard pregnancy test then." After they did that he came back and said he needed to do an ultrasound. He took me to this dimly light room and I laid on a small bed. He told me to pull up my shirt. I pulled it up to the bottom of my bra. "Ok this might be a little cold." He put this blue gel on my stomach, it was cold at first but it got warm.

"Ok lets see what going on," he put something on my lower abdomen and moved it around for several minutes."Well Ms.Greyson looks like you are going to be a mommy and your about a month along." My jaw dropped and Mary started to cry.

He wiped my stomach and I pulled my shirt down. I walked out with Mary. We sat in the car and I was in shock and silent. "So what do you want it to be?"

"I... I don't know I'm not ready to have a kid I'm stil one myself!"

"I know baby but you took that risk."

"I know but I don't how I'm going to do this."

"Well you're home schooled so you won't have to deal with that, it won't be too hard."

"Yeah I guess you're right."

"Well when are you going to tell Adam?"

"On his birthday."

"Are you sure? Won't that mess it up?"

"No he told me he wanted kids."

"when??!!!"

"A month ago after the first time we...you know."

"Oh well that's a first time I have ever heard a guy his age want a child."

"You never you know."

"You're right." We drove home. Adam's birthday was two days away on May 30th we were only a month away. I was born on April 21st so he is a year older than me.

****************ADAM'S BIRTHDAY***************

We set up the back yard with a Black Ops theme because that is his favorite video game ever and mine as well. We had Icons For Hire play live because Adam loves that band. Adam was at school while Mary, Caroline, and I set everything up. Mary kept telling me not to do a lot of stuff."Why is Mary telling you to slow down and not do stuff?"

I put my hand on her shoulder and sat down with her." Caroline... I'm pregnant."

"WHAT?????!!!!!!!"

"Yeah you're going to be an aunt."

"How far are you?"

"About two months."

"Oh my god." She put her hand over her mouth and cried.

"Ok well umm I know you're only two months but you should let me and Mary set up."

"You can go and pick Adam up instead."

"Ok."

I walked out the gate and checked my pocket for my license. I had it so I got in Mary's car and drove to Adam's school. Adam was at lunch so I just walked through the school gate and looked for him. I found him with his friends. He was facing them so he didn't see me. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around and kissed me."Hey babe what are you doing here?"

"I came to pick you up."

"Oh ok let me get my backpack," he grabbed his backpack and held my hand while he said bye to his friends. I pulled him aside once we were out the gate. "Babe...."

"Yeah?"

"I have to tell you something."

"What?"

"Im...... I'm pregnant."

"What?!" He picked me up and spun me around.

"Baby that's great, I'm going to be a dad!"

Adam's P.O.V

She told me she was going to have my child I felt happiness fill me up, I knew then what I was going to do with my life, and what to get her for christmas even though it is months away. We got into the car and drove back home, once there we went into the back yard and saw Mary, Caroline, and my mother."Mom?"

"Adam!" I hugged her for I hadn't seen her in a year.

"Mom guess what!"

"What?"

"You're going to be a grandma."

"What!?"

'Violet's pregnant!"

"Oh my!" she went up to Violet and hugged her.

"Do you know what it is?"

"No not yet."

"She's only two months," I added.

Then I realized the back yard was set up for me and that Icon For Hire was playing. It was just me, my mom, Violet, Caroline, and Mary. Soon all my friends came over and we partied till 8:00 that night. I said goodbye to my mom and everyone rise then took Violet up stairs and cuddled with her until we fell asleep.
