~Y/n's POV~

Sans turned a bright shade of blue when I told him about the pages I read. I too was blushing. "T-That's a-all you read r-right?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I shouldn't of read it, I feel really guilty." I admitted. Sans then gulped the medicine down much to his dismay. He gagged and had a coughing fit, that's when I found out he had something I didn't know skeletons could have. "Wait a minute, you have a tongue?" I asked. Once he was done with his coughing fit he nodded. "How is that even possible?" I inquired. He just shrugged. "Beats me." He slurred. "You better get some rest." I told him, he nodded and laid back on his bed. "The medicine should kick in and make you tired in around five minutes." I added. He nodded again and I walked out of the room turning out the lights and closing the door with my mind. I walked downstairs and sat down on the couch with a sigh. Why was Sans doing this? Papyrus had told me he usually did this so it wasn't because of me. I looked at the time, Papyrus wouldn't be here in another three hours. I got lost in thought but finally found my way back, when I did I looked back at the time. It had only passed thirty minutes. I decided to check on Sans, I walked upstairs and opened his door with my magic. It made no noise and I peeked in, he was fast asleep on his bed. I smiled, he looks cute when he's asleep- wait WHAT?! What am I thinking?! I felt heat rise to my cheeks as I closed the door. I went back downstairs and sat on the couch once more. I decided to watch some TV until Sans woke or Papyrus came home.

-Two hours later-

I was too busy watching f/s (favorite show) that I didn't notice Sans walking down the stairs. "Heya." He said, I flinched and put a hand to my heart. "You scared me." I chuckled while pausing f/s. "Heh, sorry." He apologized. "It's ok, also I wanted to ask you something." I told him. "What's up? Besides the ceiling." Sans joked. I laughed a little and gestured him to sit down next to me. He did and looked at me curiously. "Why do go out nearly everyday and get drunk?" I asked. He tensed up a little, I could've sworn he blushed a little as well. "Uh, well. D-Does it really matter?" He tried to avoid the question. "Yes, I want to know. It's not healthy, I'm really concerned. I care about you." I admitted. The blush was undeniable now. "Alright, I'll tell you. You know Frisk right? The one who freed all of the monsters?" He asked. "Of course, I think everyone does." I answered. "Well, she has the power to reset this world back to when she fell into the underground." He took inhaled deeply and exhaled when he was about to start talking again I stopped him. "Sans you don't need to say anymore. I understand." I smiled. "Wait, do you know about the...?" He questioned. "Timelines? Yes." I completed. He looked shocked. I chuckled lightly. "I know, it's rare to find someone who does." I said. "If you ever need to talk about it with someone, I'm here. Don't be a stranger." I added. He smiled gratefully at me, I warmly smiled back. Suddenly he hugged me, I was stunned for a moment but hugged back. "I know it's hard to know that one day all of this could go away, but you need to look on the bright side." I told him while not letting go. He hugged tighter. "How?" He asked quietly. "Just enjoy it while it lasts, who knows? Maybe she won't reset, I know there are no guarantees but you just have to stay hopeful." I explain. "I just don't want to get attached to this world." He told me. "We all get attached to something whether we like it or not, so we just have to cherish that fact." I replied. He didn't reply he just hugged me like it was the end of the world. I looked at the time, Papyrus would be home in a hour. "Want to hang out somewhere?" I questioned. He nodded and let go hesitantly. "Thanks by the way." He said. I smiled kindly at him. "It is no problem at all." I said while grabbing his skeletal hand and walking out the door with him. "Where are you taking me?" He asked. "You'll see." I giggled while walking down to the sidewalk.
