Chapter 13
"Without Sight"

When Jayceon pulls off my blindfold, I am literally speechless for a moment. The view before me is breathtaking. There are twinkling lights and hanging lanterns in the tree above us. There are three pallets on the grass - one for each couple, with candles, pillows, blankets, popcorn, wine, snacks and regular drinks. Our men have created the most sweetest setting ever, it's a personal backyard theater.

"Jayceon.." I whisper as tears of joy brim my eyes. I turn around and look up to meet his beautiful blue eyes that seem to sparkle even more right now, "did you do this?"

"The guys and I threw it together, I hope you like it, beautiful." He tells me as he cups my cheek, continuing to look into my eyes.

We have been watching Pretty Woman for an hour or so when I glance up and see Jayceon looking at me so I wrap my arms around him. "I love you so much, I'm blessed to have you my life." I tell him when he kisses my forehead.

"I'm the one who is blessed. I fell in love with you fast and hard, I would be lost without you, Jayla. Come with me so we can slip into something warm so we can be alone." He says, then leads us through the cabin to our bedroom.

He pulls back to look me in my eyes as tears stream down his cheeks. "I love you, Jayla. Please don't ever leave me, you are my world now." He prices his soft lips to mine as we hold onto each other, silently letting the other know we're always here.

Ten minutes later, Jayceon falls into a deep sleep, then I am right behind him. I'll do everything I can to protect him and love him forever. As long as he is in my arms everything will be okay.

I now know what it's like to have your heart on the outside of your body. Jayceon is my heart, my mind, my soul, he's my everything.
