The mysterious women

               Victor 's pov

" Damn this place"

I fuc*ing hate these clubs. And these women. Imagine me, the owner of this club is saying this. But I can't help it.

It's the truth.

If it wasn't for Evelyn getting on my nerves to come here. Trust me, I wouldn't have been here.

It's been years since I last visited these clubs .

I have just delegated these branches to my stuff. Having enough on my plate already.

Sitting on one of the bar stools, I order for a drink. Slipping on it slowly, not in the mood of getting drunk tonight.

Looking around at the crazy youth in boredom.

My phone pinged and I take it out to roll my eyes.

Evelyne - I am so sorry for making you wait baby. Will be there in 5.

5 means at least 30 minutes in a women's dictionary. Damn them too. Why did I even agree to come here in the first place.

Gulping the glass. I just get up to leave.

I don't have whole day for this.

Before I could step further, I feel someone's head smack against my chest. And the person stumbles back to fall when out of instinct, my hand slides along the petite women's waist to keep her steady.

Her widened eyes interlock with mine and I feel my heart thud rapidly in my chest.

I stood oblivious of everything.

Nothing mattered to me.

Nothing... except those beautiful doe shaped brown eyes hidden behind a matte black mask.

They looked too familiar...too innocent..they don't even belong here.

Where have I seen them?

I searched through my mind for answers. But I was blank. Too lost. My frantically beating heart in my chest, the only evidence I could get.

She doesn't say anything.

Just stares at me blankly.

To cover up her surprise.

Why was she surprised to see me. It's not just me. She knows me..she has to. I can't be mistaken.

Her surprised eyes suddenly get veiled by a mask of coldness. And she gets up. Looking at anything except me.

I feel a push on my arms and I realised I still held her.

Moving back from her. Retreating my fingers. I beg my pardon.

" I am sorry. I just-"

" It's alright"

Was all she says, interrupting my apology and walking past me. Ignoring me completely.

To be honest I felt rejected. No women has ever dismissed me like that...let alone interrupted me.

Turning around, I couldn't stop myself. Staring at her back, I stood transfixed.  She wore a black figure hugging dress. Her ass swayed as she moved confidently making men to literally turn around and ongle at her.

I felt bothered.

I don't know why.

I don't even know her.

Hell I haven't been so interested in a women after..... her. My little Lioness.

Why now suddenly?

I am going crazy.

Going back to my seat, I don't even  know why I stayed. My eyes scrutinize her every move with curiosity.

She doesn't talk to anyone.

Just leans on the bar counter with a drink in her hand. Her eyes look around at the crowd. Scrutinizing everyone.

As I scrutinize her.

Not able to stop my eyes from lingering down. Her blossoms were full. Tightly fitted against the dress, giving way to her thin zero size waist. Which was a complete contrast to it.

Her skin was not showing in the dress. Except for her slender toned calfs and legs.

But what she wore was hell sexy. Showing her perfect curves.

Dammit! Why am I even seeing her like that?

Look away Victor.

I was going to end this stupidity, when suddenly I see a man approaching her. Her lips tug up in a smile as if she knew him.

Don't tell me she is one of the sluts here.

Guessing from the bodyguards following the man. I already knew he was among the mafia.

The pistol tucked in his waist. Confirming my suspicion.

He leans in closer to whisper something in her ear. And she giggled a pathetic laugh. Moving up her hands to trail them on his chest.

One of the them. I should have known.

What was I even thinking?

She can never be like her...no one is like her. My lioness. She was one of a kind.

It's been so many years now.

I wonder where she is now?

Did she found someone else? Is she married? Kids? Maybe. If she would have had kids with me...I bet our kids would have been the most beautiful in this world.

Her softness and my ruggedness would have been just perfect.

Damn it. Not again Vic.

Control yourself.

You are going to end up drunk tonight, again. Fuc*ing a random woman imagining it to be her. If you don't stop yourself.

" Vic? I am so sorry baby!"

My thoughts are interrupted by two arms sliding up my chest from behind and I am brought back to reality.

Evelyns lips nibble on my neck from behind and I am hit with her strong expensive perfume scent.

How I long for my lioness's Rose scent.

It's been years since I last got engulfed by it.

Will I ever be able to get her scent again.

Fuc*! Stop it Victor!

" You seem distant baby. What happened?"

Evelyn whispers in my ear and I open my eyes to suddenly see those innocent looking eyes looking back at me.

The girl in the mask.

She looks at Evelyn. Then at her arms around my neck and then into my eyes.

I feel my heart race again.

Damn these eyes.

Why am I seeing her?

Pulling Evelyn in front. I softly smile at her. And before I know, she places her lips on mine.

Those brown eyes of that masked girl don't tear away.

She continues to look at me as Evelyn kissed me.

And I don't know why I had this urge to make Evelyn stop.

I pull back from the kiss. Running my fingers through my hair. And Evelyn holds my face in her palms.

" What happened Vic? Who are you staring at?"

She turns around to look when I grab her waist and pull her to me.

Her green eyes meet mine and I whisper in her ear.

" I am here now. What do you want to do?"

She bites her lip. To interlock her fingers behind my neck.

" What about a dance, handsome?"

I pull her to the stage. Sliding my fingers on her waist. The music blasts at full volume.

But I couldn't stop myself from looking back one last time.

The masked girl was no longer there. My brows furrow as I try to locate her when my eyes stop at a figure walking up the VIP lounge.

The man's arm was wrapped around her waist.

And he leads her up.

His bodyguards stop outside the door. He enters with her alone and I knew well what they planned to do after that.

Ignoring the mysterious girl. I just sign and turn my focus back on Evelyn.

She looked too excited for a dance and I just stand there. Barely swaying.

Letting her rub her assets against mine.

She was one hell of a seductress. Any man would be falling for a woman like her. Except for me.

" Why so stoic Vic. Show me some moves"

She whispers in my ear. And I just look at her blankly.

" You of all people know I don't dance Evelyn. "

She chuckles. Smiling.

" Of course I know. But don't men usually go out of their way to impress their lovers."

I look down at her to retort. Raising my brow.

" Well then it's a good thing then that we are not lovers."

She grabs my collar to pull me closer to her. Biting her lip she stares at my thin pressed ones.

" I suppose. But I wouldn't be so confident if I was you."

" There is a thin line between love and lust, you know."

I chuckle. Looking at her in boredom. People and their phrases.

" Trust me baby. If that was true I would have fallen in love countless times."

" There is not a line but a crevice between the two. And the second you step on it?"

Pulling up her chin I look down at her lips, to settle my gaze back on her eyes.

" You only fall sweetheart. Hard. Deep and dark. With no one to save you."

" No one to hold you...and no one to stop you."

" Till you fall and break and there is nothing left of you which can ever be mended ."

She blinks trying to digest my words and I only smirk. Stealing a peck from her pouting lips.

Placing her flick behind her ear, I whisper to her.

" I will make them serve you your drink. Dance, enjoy and come upstairs once you are done."

Walking past her, I order a drink for her. And ask the waiter to serve her.

Walking past the crowd. I climb up the stairs to the VIP room.

Was I really following that women in the black mask?

I wanted to believe otherwise. But I knew I was fooling myself.

The guards open the door for me and I enter. To be only welcomed with an empty room.

Strange.

I saw them enter. Where did they go.

Settling myself on the sofa. I just lean back when suddenly my hand touches something under me.

Confused, I move my fingers under me to get hold of a plastic substance. I pull it out to have my heart thud.

The black mask.

It was the same one she wore.

What's it doing here?

What does this even mean.

My eyes stop at a note stuck to it. And I pull out the piece of paper to look at its content in confusion.

The words crystal clear but the meaning yet to be deciphered.

I am sorry for the damages. But just for your knowledge, it was for a noble cause.

.
.
.

What does that even mean?

I stare at it in confusion. When I get the answer to it within seconds.

Bam!

A loud crash is heard behind me and I curse. Ducking down to have the room from behind me blow up in flames of fire.

Screams echo around. And I couldn't help just stare at the fire and wonder.

Who the hell was that woman?
