Chapter 11: "It's Sunday."
Yoongi and Hoseok blushed violently, and Yoongi jumped up off the bed. "I'm gonna go now." Yoongi told him, looking at him. Hoseok couldn't look him in his eyes, because he remembered his dream when he did. He turned onto his side, and buried his face in his pillow. "Won't bring this back up again." Yoongi told him, looking away from him. Hoseok nodded his head, not able to talk to him. Yoongi left awkwardly, and shut his bedroom door.
"F*cking sh*t b*tch a*s f*cker! Goddamnit, Yoongi! F*ck!" Yoongi whisper-yelled to himself, punching his pillow. "You f*cking did it again, you're so f*cking stupid!" He cursed at himself, punching his own arm. "You got way too f*cking close to him, you b*tch!" Yoongi cursed to himself as he punched his thigh.
Tears of hate for himself began to form, but he was so mad at himself, he wasn't going to let himself do it again. "Way too f*cking close, Min Yoongi, way too close!" He yelled at himself. He didn't care if anyone heard him or not, but he was so angry at himself. He pulled up his shorts, and cut a long line down his thigh.
Pain shot through his leg, but he wasn't going to allow himself to care. "You buried your ugly a*s face into him, clinged to his arm, and you f*cking sat in his f*cking lap again!" Yoongi insulted himself, cutting deeper in his thigh. "Every f*cking time." With every word, he dug across his leg. Blood streamed down his thigh, and traveled down his leg. He started to feel dizzy, but he wasn't going to let himself get away with what he did. "You layed on him, you got way too f*cking close to him, and you were such a b*tch to think you were okay sleeping on him!" Yoongi cried, cutting his thigh again.
There were at least 7 deep cuts that went all the way from his thigh to his kneecap, but there was too much blood to see it. Lisa woke up, and opened her brothers' door. "YOONGI!" She screamed loudly, running over to her brother. Sarah and Nikko dashed up the stairs, and looked in Yoongis' doorway. Yoongi managed to make another deep cut on his thigh before Lisa pulled his pocket knife away from him. "Oh my heavens! What happened?!" Sarah yelled, running to Yoongis' side. Yoongi did nothing but cry, and punched his bleeding thigh.
"Yoongi, what happened?!" Lisa yelled at him, throwing his arm away from his leg. Nikko ran to the bathroom to get towels, and both Sarah and Lisa started crying lightly. "I-I'm s-such a f-f*cking b-b-b*tch." Yoongi mumbled to himself. Nikko ran into the room, and wrapped Yoongis' leg up in a towel. Yoongi tried to push everyone away from him, but his pain made him weak.
He tried unwrapping his thigh to let it bleed, but Sarah kept it on his leg. "S-stop! I-I deserve to b-bleed o-out!" Yoongi yelled at Sarah, trying to move her hand off the towel covering his thigh. "Min Yoongi, no you do not." Sarah looked him in his eyes. "YES I DO!" Yoongi screamed at her, shoving her hand off. He hit Nikko in his chest, and threw the towel off of his leg. He quickly snatched the knife back from Lisa, and cut his left arm. "YOONGI!" Lisa yelled at him, trying to take the knife back.
Hoseok dashed into the room at the screaming, and froze. He felt as if he was just hit by a truck, and he fell to the floor in shock. Yoongi was stronger than Lisa, and pushed her onto Sarah. He made a deep cut across the other cut on his left arm, creating a plus sign. Nikko grabbed the bloodly knife from Yoongi, and threw it onto the floor. "I-I d-don't-" Yoongi studdered as he passed out.
He was furious at himself when he woke up in the hospital. Yoongi looked at his arms, and saw IVs' inserted into his arms. He winced in pain as he yanked them out. He removed everything connecting him to the machines, and climbed out of bed. The heart machine began beeping, thinking he was coding, because it was detached. Yoongi instantly felt nauseous and dizzy, and fell onto the cold, white tiled floor.
Pain stung him like a wasp, and he felt sick to his stomach. The door shot open, and nurses ran in. They saw Yoongi on the floor, and picked him up. One nurse shut off the heart machine, and Yoongi was carefully placed back on the bed. "That's one way to say I'm awake." The nurse told Yoongi sarcastically. "Why didn't you just let me bleed out? I deserve to die." Yoongi looked the nurse in her eyes. "Because we don't let anyone die in this hospital." She told him seriously.
"You lost a lot of blood, you know. You were hard to save, so don't you dare try to die again." She looked at him sincerely. "I want to. Let me go, lady. You don't know anything about me, so you can't want to save someone you don't know." Yoongi snapped at her. "You don't know me either, so how do you know what I do and don't want to do?" She raised an eyebrow at him sassily.
Yoongi stared into her eyes as another nurse connected him back to the machines. They made sure everything was okay, and allowed his guests to come in. "What the f*ck, Min Yoongi?! You scared the sh*t out of me, and when you get released, I'm beating your a*s!" Lisa yelled at him. Yoongi blinked at her, shocked at her language. "Lisa, calm down." Nikko told her. Yoongis' heart cracked slightly when he saw Hoseok.
It was clearer than diamond that he had been crying his eyes out. His eyes were bloodshot, and he had tear-stained cheeks. His whole face was red, and he was still crying. The nurses left the room to let them talk. Yoongi crossed his arms, and turned away from them. "Explain yourself, Yoongi." Lisa told him seriously. Her tone of voice told everyone that she was mad, but sad.
"I don't have to. I wanted to die, and you didn't let me. So I'm not talking." Yoongi told them. "I want to punch you so bad right now." Lisa told him, walking to the other side of the bed to face him. They made eye-contact, and Lisa burst into tears. She went down onto her knees, and put her head on Yoongis' bed. Sarah softly rubbed her back to comfort her, but it only made her cry more. Hoseok gave no warning as he hugged Yoongi tightly.
Yoongi instantly remembered why he wanted to die in that very moment at the house, and tried pushing Hoseok off of him. "Affection is why I did it, so get off before I stab myself with something." He told him. Hoseok didn't know what to do, so he only hugged him tighter. "I'm not letting go." Hoseok whispered to him, crying into his shoulder.
"Affection makes me suicidal, Hoseok. Get off." Yoongi repeated, annoyed. Hoseok loosed his grip, but still had his arms wrapped around him. "My leg hurts like f*ck, so get off." Yoongi whined. "That's your fault." Hoseok told him sarcastically. "Actually it's your fault for letting me get that close to you." Yoongi snapped at him.
"Yoongi, honey, please don't end your life. It takes a lot of effort, love, passion, and affection to create you. There's only a 15 to 25% chance of getting you, and only a 85% chance of a natural birth. Not to mention you being perfect, with no flaws. It took a lot of time and love to have you here right now, whether it seems like it or not, Yoongi. If your parents don't seem to care, at least know I do. If everybody seems against you, just know that I am on your side. I might not seem like it, but I am, and always will be, on your side." Sarah told Yoongi sincerely.
Hoseok and Sarah were shocked when Nikko started crying as well. Tears fell down Sarahs' cheeks, but she wasn't breaking down. Yoongi looked Sarah in her eyes, taking in what she just told him. He felt as if she really did care, and he felt like he shouldn't be there; he should be at home having a good life. A tear slowly fell down Yoongis' cheek, and he wanted to cry. He wanted to hug Hoseok, and tell him everything he was feeling. He wanted to tell him he was sorry, and tell him how much he regretted what he just did to himself.
A sad silence filled the room, and Lisa, Hoseok, and Nikko were crying hysterically. "Sorry I ruined a Saturday." Yoongi laughed. "It's Sunday." Hoseok told him through his tears. "You were passed out for an entire day yesterday, and it's 2 in the afternoon." Sarah informed him. "Oh. Well, when can I go home?" Yoongi asked them. "The nurses said Tuesday. They want to keep an eye on you." Sarah told him.
"Great. Now I'm going to miss school." Yoongi sighed. "Don't worry about school, Yoongi. Worry about yourself-" "All I've ever done is worry about myself. Right now isn't different. It makes me mad at myself." Yoongi interrupted Hoseok. Another silence filled the room as Lisa continued to cry heavily. She wouldn't stop crying, and cried for 2 hours. Sarah and Nikko took Lisa down to the cafeteria to get her a drink and a snack, and left Yoongi and Hoseok alone.
"I don't want to allow myself to get close to you. I don't want to rely on someone when I need them, and I don't want someone comforting me when I'm sad. Or scared, in this case. You shouldn't have let me get that close to you Friday night." Yoongi explained to Hoseok. "Why, Yoongi? I'm not going to let you go, or hurt you. Why don't you want me to help you?" Hoseok spoke sadly.
"Because I don't need help. I can do everything by myself, and I don't need anybody. The closer I get to you, physically and mentally, the more I get mad at myself for doing it. I don't want to be close to anybody, because nothing's permanent. I'm saving myself from suffering when you leave me." Yoongi explained.
"You're suffering more by trying not to. You're right, nothing's permanent. But relationships are. I will never leave you, Yoongi. But you make me worry that you'll leave me, and I don't want that to happen. I don't want to lose you, because-" "Because you like me, and you don't want to lose me because you only want to f*ck me. I know, Hoseok. So don't act like you actually care, because I'm not letting you." Yoongi snapped at him, turning away from him. He crossed his arms, and closed his eyes.
"What?! No! I don't like you like that, and it would just be weird for me to do that! I know why you'd think that, but that's not true. Absolutely not true. That's just- no." Hoseok softly yelled. "Yes it is, so quit saying it's not." Yoongi told him sarcastically. "Okay, fine. You're hot. You're really hot. But I never thought once that I wanted to f*ck you. I don't want to date you, or do anything like that with you. You are my best friend, and absolutely nothing more. Ever." Hoseok snapped at Yoongi.
"What the f*ck ever." Yoongi scoffed, fully turning away from him. "Yoongi, don't ever think that again, please. If that's why you think I want to be close to you, you're lying to yourself. Know it's not true-" "Then why were you moaning my name in your sleep, and why did you tell me you'd ruin me?" Yoongi interrupted him, getting irritated. Hoseok instantly blushed, and his face went blank. "I-" "You talk to me in your sleep, and it's not things you should be saying to me." Yoongi told him. "Yoongi-" "Then you shut up for a while, I go back to sleep. Then I wake up, and you're f*cking hard. You're not touching me." Yoongi snapped.
"I can't control what I do in my sleep! Do you think I wanted that to happen Saturday morning? I don't want to do anything with you!" Hoseok yelled at him. "I don't want to lose you, because I'm your friend, and I care for you." He added.
"Just because I'm in your house for 2 months, doesn't mean we have to be close-" "I let you in, Yoongi! You don't get to leave me, or run away! You don't get to push me away, because I wouldn't do it to you! Whether you like it or not, I am your friend! I will be there for you! So you don't get to leave me, or walk away!" Hoseok yelled at him as he began crying again.
Yoongi turned around, and faced him. "Just because you feel the need to push me away, doesn't mean you have to." Hoseok told him as tears fell from his eyes. "P-please don't leave me." He studdered, trying his best not to break down again. Yoongis' heart completely broke, and realization hit him like a car. He realized what he had done to him. He realized how much he must be hurting him. He realized what he just did.
With tears threatening to fall, Yoongi reached out his arms for a hug. Hoseok walked into his embrace, and hugged him. Yoongi pulled Hoseok carefully up next to him, and they hugged each other tightly. "I'm sorry, Hoseok." Yoongi apologized. "J-just don't leave m-me." Hoseok cried lightly into Yoongis' shoulder. "I won't." Yoongi assured him as he cried as well.
Both cried for a while, and appreciated each others' company. Yoongi watched Hoseok fall asleep, and almost feel asleep when Nikko, Sarah, and Lisa returned. "I think they're asleep." Sarah whispered to them. "We have to get going though. We have a meeting with the school counselor." Nikko whispered to Sarah. Sarah nodded her head, remembering the small meeting they had. Yoongi pretended to be asleep as Sarah walked over.
"Hoseok, honey." She gently shook Hoseok awake. "We have to go." Sarah whispered to him. Hoseok whined, and looked at his mom. "Where?" He asked, rubbing his tired eyes. "We have a meeting with the school counselor. Come on." She told him, patting his shoulder. Hoseok wanted to cuddle into Yoongi, and fall back asleep peacefully, but he quickly pushed his little space away when his mom mentioned the school counselor. Yoongi felt Hoseok tense up. "Come on, Hoseok. Let Yoongi sleep." Sarah whispered.
Hoseok had no choice but to get up, and follow them out of the hospital. Right as they left, Yoongi and Hoseok made eye-contact before Hoseok left. He was about to say something, and Yoongi could see the fear in his eyes. "What-" "Hoseok!" Nikko called for Hoseok, and he closed the door to follow Nikko.
Lisa noticed Hoseks' hands shaking as they reached the school. School had just led out 20 minutes ago, and everyone had already left the school. "W-what's the m-meeting about?" Hoseok asked his mom shakingly. "Just about your grades and things. They want to know more about Lisa and Yoongis' situation, so you two will speak to the guidance councilor for 5 minutes." Sarah looked between Hoseok and Lisa. Lisa sighed quietly, and Hoseok started shaking as they entered the school.
They traveled to the office, and sat down in the principals' office. Hoseok saw how the guidance councilor kept his stare on Hoseok, and Hoseok stared at the floor. The first 10 minutes only consisted of Hoseoks' parents talking to their principal. "Something wrong, Hoseok?" The principal asked, seeing him staring at the floor.
Nikko and Sarah turned to him, and Hoseok looked up at them. "No, I'm alright. Just listening." Hoseok smiled at him. He was again trying not to go in little space from the building-up of his anxiety every single second. "Maybe you and Lisa would like to talk to the councilor." His principal smiled at him, signaling for them to go with the guidance counselor.
Hoseok and Lisa followed the guidance counselor to another room, and Hoseok breathed a breath of relief when he realized Lisa would be in the room with him the entire time.
Lisa noticed the looks the councilor was giving Hoseok, and she noticed how he never looked the councilor in his eyes. She noticed everything. She saw how nervous Hoseok was, and it made her a little nervous too. She didn't know why, but it seemed as if Hoseok was scared of the guidance counselor.
After about 20 minutes, their talk was over. Lisa could see the relief on Hoseoks' face, and they stood up quickly. "Could you leave us to talk alone for a minute, Lisa? We'll be out in just a minute." The guidance councilor smiled sweetly at her. Lisa looked at Hoseok, and it was if he was begging her not to leave. "Um, I'm pretty sure they're done. We should get going." Lisa responded. "We'll be done in just a minute." The councilor repeated. Lisa felt integragated, but she didn't want to leave Hoseok alone.
She nodded at him, and went to leave. Panic covered Hoseok, and he prayed Lisa didn't leave. As Lisa opened the door, the guidance counselor turned to Hoseok, and smirked. Lisa shut the door, but didn't leave. She stood against the door, and Hoseok stared at her. Lisa froze when the councilor pushed Hoseok against the wall, and pinned him.
Hoseok looked the councilor in his eyes, and started to tear up. "Don't." He told him. "I'll be real quick, baby boy. Just be quiet this time." The councilor told him, placing his hand over Hoseoks' mouth. Hoseok began to cry out of fear, and Lisa stopped herself from attacking the councilor when he started rubbing Hoseoks' thighs.
"I'm n-not letting you do anything to me this time." Hoseok spoke muffledly. "Just take a breath, baby." The councilor assured him, taking off Hoseoks' belt. Hoseok completely forgot Lisa didn't actually leave, and started to silently cry. Lisa internally screamed for Hoseok to push him off, but she knew he was practically frozen.
As the guidance councilor started pulling Hoseoks' jeans down, Lisa was filled with rage, and tackled him. "What the-" "What the f*ck?!" She yelled at him, pinning him to the floor. Hoseok stood frozen against the wall, trying not to go in little space. The guidance counselor pushed Lisa off of him, and she rolled onto the floor. Both quickly stood up, and stared into each others eyes. "What were you going to do to him?!" Lisa asked eagerly. "Absolutely nothing. I said I wanted to talk-" "I'm telling the principal, and you're gonna get fired and go to jail!" Lisa yelled at him as she grabbed Hoseoks' arm, and ran out of the room, into the principals' office.
