Chapter 24: All My Friends Are Nobodies
When I awaken I look at my clock and groan, 4:30 in the morning. Time to train. I hurry outside and begin practicing my physical strength and endurance before returning inside and showering. I do so quickly taking only cold water as to save the girls some warm water. After, I glance at the clock again. It's only 5:00. I hurry to the kitchen and grab some eggs and chorizo making enough for the class, as well as flour and corn tortillas for anyone who wants some with their eggs. I also set aside some bread toasted and not. When everyone arrives they grab some food and eat as I'd already had my plate and I had grabbed my journal and began studying. The first down surprisingly was Bakugo. Followed by Iida and Midoriya. Then the rest slowly make their way down for breakfast.
Chapter 23: All My Friends Are Nobodies
Aizawa stands in front of the class, all of us are in uniform, whether we're happy about it or not. "I believe I mentioned this already, but your main focus this summer is obtaining provisional hero licenses."
"Yes sir!" The rest of the class shout out around me.
"Do not take this lightly." He declares, strange for once it feels like his gaze isn't affixed to me. "A hero license means that you're responsible for human lives. You can imagine that the exam to receive one is very difficult. Only 50% of students pass the tests required for these permits each year."
"It's that hard to get a provisional license?" Mineta asks, concerned.
Aizawa nods slightly. "In order to prepare, today you'll concentrate on creating something new. Two ultimate moves." He says as Cementoss, Midnight, and Ectoplasm enter the classroom.
"Ultimate moves?!" Kaminari & Kirishima cheer before Ashido and Sero join them. "An exam is a normal thing. But this is total hero work!"
Ectoplasm steps forward. "When we say "ultimate," we mean a move that will ensure you win against your opponent."
Cementoss nods with Ectoplasm's explanations. "An action so unique to your identity that no other person can hope to copy it. Simply put, you must learn to lean on your strengths."
Midnight poses with her whip. "Your moves represent who you are. These days, most pro heroes have an ultimate move. Those who don't are fools."
Aizawa stands to the side of his fellow teachers. "This May sound abstract, but we'll explain more as the day goes on. For now change into your costumes and meet in Gym Gamma."
As we all change everyone seems ecstatic, ultimate moves, I already have a few signature moves down, I need to make a move that can end a fight, even with someone as strong as All For One, no, I need a move to fight Akashi. One unique to myself.
"Gym Gamma. Also known at the academy as the training dining land or TDL." Aizawa then explains why we need an ultimate move as I walk forward into the training field and grab a car batter and strap it on.
"I've already got one." I speak up. Everyone watches me as I flip the switch on the battery, red electricity bouncing off my skin. "Mr. Ectoplasm, May I have a clone of yours to demonstrate with?"
He obliges making a clone that starts jumping around the field as I keep my eye watching as my head tilts and pops are heard from my neck as the crackling turns into a high pitch whining noise radiating from my left hand. Aizawa and Midnight's eyes both widen.
"Right. This is one my mother passed down to me." I surge forward speeding through the arena as if I were Iida as my hand extends forward impaling itself into Ectoplasm's clone. Once my arm is inside some of the energy stored inside me is transferred into his body zapping him being unable to contain the electricity like I can. Extracting the hand I glance back as most of the class is stunned by the move while Bokasu cheers me on. After a while we begin working on our moves I focus on creating a second ultimate move. When I hear a familiar, annoying, but familiar voice.
"Ah, Young Raijin, having trouble are we?" All Might asks as he approaches.
"I'm trying to make a second move. My first has speed and strength, but I want to use my second defensively."
All Might hums. "Well, if you're thinking of a defensive move, why not something that can shield yourself and others at the same time?"
"Hm?" Something to guard not just myself, something that can't be blitzed or finessed. "I think I've got it. Wow, your book really helped."
All Might stutters for a second. "My Book?"
I scoff. "I saw you with the others. Education theory. Neat. Now if you don't mind me I've got to work on this one."
Time Skip (You'll see that neat trick later)
After class Midoriya and I walk to the support classes as they're open almost all day. As we approach the door I notice Uraraka and wait a moment as well as Iida walks with her. An explosion nearly destroys the doors as we all look on horrified. I notice Midoriya is no longer standing with us, and a woman is lying atop him.
"Ow, ow, ow ,ow." She says still lying atop Midoriya.
Power Loader steps out from the smoke. "Ya know, you shouldn't try to mix everything you can find in the lab together like that."
The girl chuckles. "Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader. Thomas Edison said something similar to that once. Even if something I make doesn't work like I've envisioned it, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time."
"To be fair, Thomas Edison wasn't exactly the greatest inventor himself, he actually stole most of his best credited stuff from Nikola Tesla." I correct. "Not to interrupt or anything, but, mind if we can get some help?"
"Oh, sorry about the sudden explosion, it's been a while Huh? Class 1-A, right? Uh... yeah, I forgot all your names already."
"Uh, Izuku Midoriya."
"I'm Tenya Iida! The man you tricked into being a walking advertisement during the sports festival." Iida glares at her.
"Gotta admit, it was kinda funny Iida."
"Never heard a' you! Well, I'm busy developing new babies, so, bye!"
"Spare us a moment." I raise my hand. "We wanted to ask Mr. Power Loader about improving some elements of our costumes."
"Wha-Wha-What? You can count me in!" Hatsume turns like a demon out of hell.
"Hatsume! It's fine for you to be in and out of the studio all day since your in the dorms. But if you stop following my instructions and keep running wild in here... you're banned."
Midoriya looks to Power Loader, a bit scared. "Um, hello."
"I heard from Eraser Head. You're here to upgrade those costumes for your new moves, yes? Come in." We all enter the room and glance around as I glance a bit somewhat impressed. "Now hand over your instructions please. They should've been with the case your costume was delivered in. I have a license to make costumes, so I'm allowed to do some mild tinkering with those that were made out-of-house. For small changes and repairs I can simply report what I altered to the design company. They'll do the paperwork for me. But for major changes, we'll have to fill out an application and ask the design professionals to make adjustments for us. After that's completed the government will make sure the new costume meets certain standards. When approved, it'll be sent back here. And we work with the best design agencies available. So there's usually a three day turnaround."
Midoriya steps forward first. "Ah, well, I was wondering if there was a way I could reduce the strain on the ligaments in my arms. Is that hard? Or possible?"
"Hm? Let's see, Midoriya. You mainly fight with your fists and your fingers. In that case I should probably be able to do something for you pretty fast." Hatsume in the meanwhile toys around with Tenya and Midoriya as I turn to Power Loader.
"I was wondering if we could design a battery the size of a triple A but with the power of a 8-wheeler trucks battery."
Hatsume leans on my arm. "A battery, huh?"
I don't even look at her. "Not interested."
Power Loader and I discuss the battery for a bit and I nod leaving just before the others are blown out the doors. As the days passed, our training to create ultimate moves continued. And some of us made great headway. Even Midoriya made great progress switching to his legs. Bokasu is still working on his first. Meanwhile I continue progress on my defensive move. This shouldn't take much longer.
"Hey, shitty hair number two, how goes making a second ultimate move?" Bokasu says sitting down for lunch with me, Bokasu, and Kodai.
"Oi, Oi, you don't get to speak about my hair, Baka."
"It's what Bakugo calls ya."
"Well he's a cunt. A cunty cunt."
"What you gonna punch him in the va-" He tries to speak, but stops as his punch him in the gut.
"Not in front of the lady." I scold. Yui shrugs and keeps eating her lunch. "No but making this new move has been a bit difficult, I'm so used to being on the offense, coming up with something defensive has been a challenge."
"Well hey, at least you've already got one down."
"We've still got a few days to figure it out."

Life In The Dorms : Part 2
"Uh? Kacchan?"
"Oh, don't tell me...!"
"Did we just switch bodies?" Bakugo(?) asks, panicking.
"Ah damn it, I'm a nerd!" Midoriya(?) roars violently swinging his arms, his face filled with the rage of a rabid animal.
"Bakugo!" Kirishima enters the room, before stopping suddenly confused staring at the pair. "Eh- you're not Bakugo anymore, are you?"
"I heard screaming. What did Midoriya and/or Bakugo do?" Shoji asks entering the room behind Kirishima with Raijin.
"Pump the blame brakes, Squid Game." Raijin says walking past him.
"But, am I right?"
"Probs." Raijin shrugs.
"Are we just gonna breeze over the fact that he just called him squid game?" Kaminari asks looking to the rest of Class 1A... and Shinso watching the debacle.
"Yes." Sero answers. "Kiri, what happened?"
"I think we got ourselves a Freaky Friday situation." Kirishima says watching the two swapped boys.
"Love that movie." Todoroki comments from behind Raijin & Bokasu.
"So they've switched bodies?" Sero asks.
"Considering the fact that Mudoriya's face is snarling like a rabid squirrel, and Bakugo's eyes are wider than Aoyama's ego, I'd say yea." Iida adds to the conversation.
"Did you say something about my twinkling?" Aoyama speaks, staring at you, reader.
"Not at all, She-Ra." Shinso deadpans.
"You have been on a roll lately." Raijin compliments Shinso.
"She-Ra isn't Disney. How is that connected to Freaky Friday?" Todoroki complains.
Raijin sighs, his head drooping. "Roki, I can never tell if you're clueless or precious, so which is it?"
"Bit of both?"
"Todo, please put the heterochromatic puppy dog eyes away." Bokasu facepalms.
"And please, speed through Ashido's guide." Raijin looks up.
"That was a lot of words very fast."
"Tokoyami, Raijin, don't you two have any spells or something that might help reverse this?"
"I don't cast magic?" The two boys say in unison.
"Then what are all those magic books on your shelves in your dorms?" Kaminari asks.
"Those are D&D rule books." The Dungeon Masters reply, again in unison.
"Oh." Kaminari's eyes widen, not likely in understanding,
"You never saw those!" Tokoyami glares at Kaminari.
"Uh, boys, task at hand." Bokasu snaps his fingers.
"Yeah, focus up, Tsukuyomi." Pro Hero Hawks suddenly arrives in the dorm.
"How are you always here?!" Bokasu & Tokoyami both shout at the hero they interned with.
"I can handle this. Let me call the Abadons." Raijin sighs.
