Two months later:

Elizabeth's P.O.V

"Okay, the cake will be here in half an hour. So they should be here in no longer than an hour" I said to everyone as I went to call Sally and Tyler.

It's Kyle and Rachel's birthday. Tyler went with Kyle to the gym to distract him there till we finish decorating the house and prepare food. Sally went with Rach to the mall to buy some clothes as her birthday gift. I actually still feel guilty for turning her down yesterday. But she surprised me she didn't realize that we did with her the exact same thing we did with Ellie.

Flashback:

My phone rang as Rach's name came up on the screen. I had an idea of what she'll probably say so I picked up.

"Hey, Rach" I greeted.

"Hey, Liza" Rach said.

"Are you busy tomorrow?" she asked a little excitedly.

"Why?" I asked.

"Mum and I will go shopping, I want you to come" She answered.

"Sorry Rach, I can't. I have an appointment with Diana tomorrow. You know, my monthly check up" I said normally but I was dying out of guilt.

"Oh.. Urgh.. It's okay. I'll call Ellie.. Maybe" She said sadly.

"Urgh.. Well, she's kind of coming with me. Dad has a late meeting at work and Katie is staying over at her best friend's place. I didn't want to go alone. But, it's okay. Call Ellie. I'll be fine on my own" I said the last part a little sadly. I know Rach, and I know that she won't let me go by myself.

"No, definitely not. Let her go with you. It's okay, my shopping isn't a big deal. Just call me when you get home and take care of yourselves. See you later" She said sadly but honestly.

"See you, bye". I said before we both hung up.

End of Flashback.

Well, I don't know if that makes me a bad friend or not. But, maybe not too much since I suggested the shopping idea to Sally. I don't have an appointment with anyone and both me and Ellie are not going anywhere, dad doesn't have a meeting and Katie is right here with me at the Brock's place.

So, dad was making food in the kitchen. Me, Katie, Ellie and Jacob were decorating the house. We inflated lots of balloons, hung decorations, prepared gifts and prepared everything else.

So, I called Sally and she told me that they'll be here in almost 45 minutes. Then, I called Tyler and told him to bring Kyle in also 45 minutes so they could be here at the same time.

So, after 43 minutes I heard car's doors close. I looked out of the window to find it Rach and Sally. I ran back to the front door and turned off the lights and went to stand with everyone else. Then, I heard the front door open and footsteps.

"Rach, open the lights" Sally demanded. I heard Rach's footsteps as she went to turn on the lights. As soon as she did we all screamed.

"Happy birthday Rach"

At first she looked shocked. But once she processed what was happening she screamed her usual high pitched scream.

"Oh my god! When did you do that guys?" She asked in surprise.

"Why do you think you went shopping?" Ellie asked sarcastically.

"You're so mean, Liz" She said as she saw me smirking at Ellie's comment.

"Sorry" I said laughing as I hugged her.

"Where is my twin?" She asked.

"He'll be here any minute" I answered. After exactly three minutes I heard car doors open and close.

"They're here" I told everyone as I turned off the lights again.

"It's too dark, man. Turn on the lights" Tyler demanded as they got in. Once the lights were on we screamed again.

"Happy birthday, Kyle" They screamed.

"Happy birthday, Da Vinci" I screamed.

He looked surprised as his eyes moved to see everyone. But he grinned once his eyes landed on me. I found myself unconsciously grinning back at him.

"Thank you everyone" He said happily but he was still looking in my eyes as if he was only talking to me.

"Okay, let's take a short break to let the birthday twins refresh" Sally said and we agreed. Everyone sat down and chatted as Kyle and Rach went to shower and change.

After almost 15 minutes they came back down. We all chatted a bit before it was time for cake. We sang them 'Happy birthday' then they blew the candle. We ate first before it was time for presents.

"Ladies first" Kyle told Rach.

She started opening presents. Sally's gift was the clothes she bought her today. Ellie bought her favorite perfume. Kyle and Tyler bought her a watch she wanted for a while. Rach is really into history and historical books so me, dad and Katie bought her a collection. Thankfully she got excited for all the presents and liked them.

"Your turn, twin" Rach told Kyle. Rach bought him sneakers. Sally and dad bought him a small gramophone and a few jazz phonographs as he really likes jazz. Tyler bought him blue boxing gloves as he recently started learning boxing. I noticed that he kept me last. He thanked everyone before he turned to me.

"Can you excuse us?" I asked everyone as I held his hand. Everyone said yes before I took him and went to his room.

"Close your eyes" I demanded as we stood in front of his closed door and obeyed. I opened the door and helped him stand in right place.

"Now open" I said as I stood beside him.

"Shut up! When the hell did you do all that?" He said in a surprised tone. His gifts were in front of him, and candles were spread all over the room.

"Well, I worked my magic" I said proudly.

To be honest it was just effort. I already put the gifts and candles in his room under his bed since I came this morning. Then I used the time that he was in the kitchen preparing his plate and chatting with dad to put the gifts out and put the candles in place. And the last step was on Ellie. I made her light the candles after Rach opened her gifts. So, that's how everything got in place.

"So, open them" I said as I smiled at him. I made him open the big ones first as they were art tools.

"Oh god, they're the most modern. They were in the market for only a month" He said excitedly.

"Thank you so much, Mona Liza" He said as he hugged me.

"Open this" I said after we broke the hug as I gave him a medium sized bag.

He opened it and smiled hard. It was customized t-shirts. One had the original 'Leonardo Da vinci' photo printed on it. Along with a feminine t-shirt that had 'Mona Lisa' on it which was obviously for me. One had 'Starry night' portrait cause I know he likes it. And the last t-shirt had the portrait 'The scream'.

"These are the most cool t-shirts I've ever seen" He said as he grinned like a little child. He then suddenly took off the shirt he was wearing as my cheeks got red.

"What are you doing?" I asked nervously.

He smirked at my nervousness. He started taking steps closer to me as I took steps away from him. We both stopped when my legs touched the edge of his bed.

"Is there something specific you want me to do?" He asked/whispered in my ear. I felt a very rise in temperature as I also could hear my fast heart beats in my ears.

"You're adorable" He said as I pecked my lips before he walked back to where he put the t-shirts. He picked up the one with the 'Starry night' portrait on it and wore it.

"Do I look good?" He asked as he pointed at the t-shirt but his smirk made me feel that there's another meaning behind it.

"Y.. Yes" I said nervously.

"You're an idiot" I said as I couldn't stop smiling.

"Your idiot" He said and it made me smile more.

"Come on, let's go back down before they start thinking as bad as you" He said sarcastically as he held my hand and took a step towards the door. I stopped him by pushing him back.

"There's one more little gift" I said as I smiled. I let go of his hand to go back where the gifts were and picked up a jar that was kind of hidden behind everything else.

"This little gift" I said as I gave it to him. It was a big jar that had Blue, pink and lavender small folded papers. He looked at it and smiled.

"Just a little hint; blue is positive quotes for the hard times, lavender is things I want to do with you and pink is reasons why I love you. Open one everyday.. Only one. No cheating" I gave him instructions. He kept looking in my eyes for a moment before he put the jar on the bed and crashed his lips on me.

"I'm madly in love with you Elizabeth Marie Grace" He whispered after we broke the kiss.

"I'm madly in love with you Kyle Hunter Brock" I whispered as I pecked his lips.

"Today was your idea, wasn't it?" He asked as he seemed to know the answer.

"Kind of" I said with an unsure tone.

Actually, yes. Today was my idea. I wanted to do something special for both of them and every idea starting coming to me.. one after another.

"Well, it was one of my favorite days.. Because of you" He said as he smiled at me softly.

The look of love in his eyes made me heart melt. That look made feel really okay. That no matter what is going on with me and how hard life could be, I'll be fine as long as he looks at me like that.

"Well, I'm happy.. Because of you" I said softly to him. We kissed each other one last time before we went down to everyone else.
