Hey all I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while, my exams were going on and I had no time to do so. That and I am currently in an awful writers bloc so this chapter most probably will suck.

Dick's POV

It's been a few years since I met Wally and since then, he has been my greatest friend. Bruce allowed me to tell him my secret identity which I must admit was a great feeling. I also met a few other friends.

Kaldur who is Aquaman's protege, also known as Aqualad is super nice and super fun to work with. Despite his age, he seemed to be really intelligent.

Roy Harper was another story. So the day I met Wally, Green Arrow had lost his son/protege aka Roy.

A week later, he just appeared and Green Arrow was so relieved that he threw a party which is where I met him.

Turns out, Roy and Kaldur had been really close friends because Kaldur liked to follow Aquaman away from Atlantis.

Anyway since we all are older, Bats decided that it was time for us to take our first step into becoming full fledged League members.

Well I might have bugged him a lot until he finally said yes... heh.

So taday is the day.

Me, Bats, Green Arrow, Speedy aka Roy, Aquaman and Aqualad were standing a few blocks awaya from the Hall of Justice, where there was a huge crowd waiting for us.

" Oh man! I knew we would be the last to come!" The familiar whining made me grin.

"Is that Batman?"

"I see Flash and Flash jr."

"His name's Speedy. Duh."

"No.Speedy's Green Arrow's sidekick."

"Well, that makes no sense."

I couldn't hold back my chuckle as we made our way into the Hall.

Wally and Roy's face was getting red... either from anger or embarresment.

Wally, who was standing right next to me lightly shoved me to the side making the both of us laugh.

Behind 9me, Batman was shaking his head.

"Ready to see the inner sanctum?"

"Born that way!" Roy replied, giving one of his rare smiles.

"Have all 4 sidekicks ever been in the same place At the same time?" Wally asked.

"Uh yeah we have.. remember yesterday?' I said giving a cackle.

Roy's smile disappeared, "Don't call us sidekicks," he said grumbling.

Well that smile sure did last long. I'm gonna miss it.

"Sorry. I'm a little overwhelmed." Wally replied.

" You're overwhelmed, Freeze was underwhelmed, why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?' I asked, referring to the fight Bats and I had with Mr Freeze before coming to the Hall.

Martian Manhunter came up  and greeted us and immediately gave us a tour of the place I know oh so well.

When we finally reached the library,

"Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of 4 ice villains Attacking on the same day.
We shouldn't be long." Batman said.

Wait?! What?!

Recognized: Batman, 0-2; Aquaman, 0-6; Flash, 0-4; Green Arrow, 0-8; Martian Manhunter, 0-7; Red Tornado, 1-6.

And that was when things got out of hand.

"That's it? You promised us a real look inside, not a glorified Backstage pass" Roy said angrily, which I have to say I agree with.

" It's a first step. You've been granted access few others get."

"Oh, really? Who cares which side of the glass we're on?" Roy said, gesturing to the glass where many civilians were looking into.

"Roy, you just need to be patient." Oliver said.

"What I need is respect!" he yelled back.

I started zoning out until something interesting came up.

When I finally paid attention, Roy was gone, which somehow didn't really surprise me.

Superman to Justice League.
There's been an explosion at project Cadmus.
It's on fire.

This was it. Our first mission together. We could handle a fire.

"I've had my suspicions about Cadmus. This may present the perfect opportunity to in-"

Zatara to Justice League.
The sorcerer Wotan is using the amulet of attan to blot Out the sun.
Requesting full League response.

"Superman?"

It's a small fire

"Stay put." Batman said.

That was when I got angry.

How could he expect is to stay put.

Was it because of what happened those few years ago with the League of Assasins?

If so, my nightmares have subsided and very rarely does that particular one come.

Wally and I started protesting but in  the end, the adults  got the final say.

" Glad you didn't bring you know who?" Batman asked Martian Manhunter.

" Indeed."

They said it really softly that if I didn't pay attention, I wouldn't have picked it up.

Soon it was just me, Wally and Kaldur.

" What is project Cadmus?" Wally asked.

"Dunno, but I can find out." I made my way to the computer and started hacking.

Access denied.

"Heh! Wanna bet?" I started typing ...

" Woah! How are you doing that?" Wally asked.

" Same system as the batcave I smirked."

 Access granted

Project Cadmus.Genetics lab here in D.C.That's all there is, but if Batman's suspicious, maybe we Should investigate." I said.

"Solve their case before they do."

" It would be poetic justice Aqualad said.

"Hey! They're all about justice." Wally chuckled.

And that was how we ended up in a terrible situation.

We saw something strange in Cadmus which led us to project Kr which happened to be a clone made from the DNA of Superman. Basically it looked as though it was Superman's son.

We ended up freeing him which led to our capture.

"Why is the weapon not in his cage?" The scientist dude comes in angrily, refering to Superboy who was just talking to us.

Kaldur seemed to have a good way with speaking to him.

Superboy, you live.
That gives you the right to follow your own path.
A weapon or a person, the choice is yours, but ask Yourself, "what would Superman do?"

Kaldur whispered, knowing that Superboy would be able to hear it.

Soon, there was a loud crash and I was free from my pod.

"Finally! Lucky Batman isn't here. He'd have my head for taking so long." I said.

"Seriously, that's what you're worried about? The whole League will have our heads after tonight." Ah Wally paranoid as ever.... well he does have a point though.

"Free Aqualad. I'll get kid mouth." I said as Wally rolled his eyes.

"Don't you give me orders either." He said as he frees Aqualad.

Escaping the building was hard because well a lot of genomorphs aka all of them started chasing us, but worst of all, that doctor dude drank some kind of drug which made him into this creature he cal Blockbuster.

But we managed to collapse the building on him.

The bad news is that at that very moment, the League decided to appear.

To say they were angry was an understatement.

Also it seems like Superman does not like the fact that Superboy exists, judging from both their faces.

"End results aside, we are not happy."

"You hacked Justice League systems, disobeyed direct Orders, and endangered lives.
You will not be doing this again."

"I am sorry, but we will." Aqualad said.

"Aqualad, stand down."

"Apologies, my king, but no.
We did good work here tonight, the work you trained us to do.
Together on our own we forged something powerful, important."

"If this is about your treatment at the hall, The 3 of you-"

"The 4 of us, and it's not." Wally relplied.

Wow I get where these guys are going with this but gosh they seem really sern.

I realised I had to say something as well so ..

"Batman, we're ready to use what you taught us, or why Teach us at all?" Batman's face softened a bit.

"Why let them tell us what to do? It's simple.Get on board or get out of the way." Superboy interupted.

We all nodded.

"Fine Batman said," looking at the other for confirmation.

At Mount Justice

"This cave was the original secret sanctuary Of the Justice League.
We're calling it into service again.
Since you 4 are determined to stay together and fight The good fight, you'll do it on League terms.
Red Tornado volunteered to live here and be Your supervisor.
Black Canary's in charge of training.
I will deploy you on missions."

"Real missions?"

"Yes, but covert."

"The 5 of you will be that team."

"Cool. Wait!Five?" Wally said.

"This is the Martian Manhunter's niece Miss Martian."
