Hey guys! It's been a while since I updated and now my story has over 8K reads!!!

Thanks so much!!! I'm sorry I didn't update sooner, I'm in a huge block :/  but I decided to get back to writing YAYYY!!!

Bruce's POV

This assassin situation is getting way out of hand. I'm so worried about Dick, that I feel like I have to watch his every move in case something happens to him.... which I did...

I placed cameras in every room of the house and trackers on every clothe he owns. Of course Dick has no idea.

"Master Bruce! You need to stop worrying to much. Dick is smarter than he is given credit." Alfred said as I was looking at the screen of the camera in Dick's room, showing him sleeping.

"You don't understand Alfred! It's all my fault! I wont lose anymore people I love! I made that vow when I lost my parents."

" Bruce... wh- what's going on?" Dick came in all of a sudden, rubbing his eyes.

"Uh.. Dick, what are you doing up?" I said, quickly closing the camera footage of the house.

"I wa- wait! Have you been spying on me?" He asked, anger dripping from his words.

"I uh- um.." I stuttered which was very unlike me. Normally I could create a lie in a second.

"Is this because you don't trust me to defend myself on my own!" He yelled.

"Dick wai-"

"It's because those assassins took me by surprise isn't it?" He left the cave.

"Oh dear, what have you done Master Bruce?" Alfred said, worry written all over his face.

"I- I just wanted to make sure he was safe. I did it because I blamed myself for almost losing a son." I put my head on my hands.

"I'll go check on him," Alfred said, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

And as if things couldn't get worse, Superman and Wonder Woman came in.

"Hey Bruce! I heard the whole conversation. Are you okay?" Superman said.

I should keep in mind that Superman does have super hearing.

" Tell me something guys. Was it a bad idea to adopt Dick?" I asked.

"Bruce, we admit that we didn't think it was the right way to go for the kid but you have proved us wrong. You have done a great job raising him. Every parent has been in an argument with their kids but things will get better eventually," Wonder Woman put her arm on my shoulder.

"Master Bruce! Master Grayson! He's gone!" Alfred came running in.

I immediately got up and put my cowl on.

"We'll inform the league and the team. He probably went to one of them." Superman said.

I nod, and the three of us leave the cave.

Dick's POV

Was I overreacting? Maybe.. but I need time to let off some steam, and I know just the person to go to.

I suddenly remembered that if Bruce had been spying on me, he would put trackers on my clothes. the question is, where?

Suddenly I saw I clothing store and decided to get some clothes from there. Bruce won't have a tracker in some random store bought clothes.

I fished my pocket for my wallet and headed inside.

After purchasing new clothes, I started stomping on the old ones is hopes to smash the tracker. I Bruce were to check using the trackers, he would know where I went. 

After being satisfied with the damage I did to my clothes, I threw them away, and headed to where I was planning to go in the first place. 

Most people would assume I went to Wally's place by using a zeta tube to central city, so I decided to go to the Comisionar's place.

I crept up a tree that was next to his daughter's room.

I knocked on the window.

"Pst! Babs. You awake?"

"Dick?" Babs opened her window, rubbing her eyes.

"What's wrong?" She gestured for me to enter.

"It's kind of a long story," I whispered.

She nodded and opened the window to let me in.

"Are you in any kind of trouble?" She asked.

"Like I said, long story," I replied.

Nodding again, she sat on her bed.

"By the way, hide me if your dad comes okay?" I asked.

"Okay Dick, but you're really scaring me." 

"Don't worry Babs, it's nothing serious. It's just an argument I had with Bruce. I'll probably come around soon and go back, but right now,  I need to stay away from my life outside this room."

" Okay Dick," she sighed.

Wally's POV

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman came into the mountain.

They asked to speak with me so I went to them.

"Robin is missing. He ran away about an hour ago. We assumed he came here, but it appears he has not." Superman said/

"What? Why would he run away like that?" I asked.

"He and I had some disagreement. The only other time this has happened was when he was when he first found out about me." Batman said.

"We have to go find him!" Superboy said.

All of us turned around, shocked, until Superboy pointed to his ears. Oh yeah, he has Super hearing.

Batman put on his poker face and nodded.

"I've got Gotham covered, Kid Flash takes Central City, Superboy go with Superman to Metropolis. Miss Martian, check out the mountain, your uncle will check Happy Harbour." Batman said.

With that, we all went our seperate ways.

Bruce's POV

I looked through the entire mansion and cave. I looked through his school. His tracker reading showed nothing. He must have found a way to hack it or something.

I eventually made my way to Crime Alley, where my parents were shot.

It was like every time I went here, I could picture that night so vividly. 

  "How does it feel to stand on the very stones that ran with your parent's blood? Do you feel sad? Full of rage? Or does that outfit help bury your feelings?Hiding your true self? You're truly an extraordinary specimen; I look forward to breaking you"(I'm sorry I had to put this hahaha #p!atd) I glanced around and saw Ra's al Gul standing in front of me.

"You!" I said  through gritted teeth. Ra's is one of the only villains who knows Bruce Wayne is Batman.

"Detective it's so nice to see you," Ra's smiled.

I immediately lunged at him.

"You! Caused! This! My son is gone because of you and your stupid assassins!" I yelled.

"Now now! Let's not go into blaming people immediately. If I'm seeing things right, Robin left because of you," he smirked and left.

I had to get out of here. This place is already making things worse for me.

I had one more option.

I got dressed as Bruce Wayne and headed to Jim Gordan's house. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. His two bestfriends in the world are Wally and Barbara.

Once I reached his door step, I knocked. Barbara opened up the door.

"Hello Barbara! Is your dad home?" I smiled.

She nodded and led me in, and then went to look for her dad.

Soon Comisionar Gordan comes to me.

"Bruce! What a surprise! Is something wrong?" He asked.

"Um Jim, Dick ran away and I was wondering if he had come here."

" That must be awful. I'll go ask Barbara. Would you like to come up as well?" He asked.

Dick's POV

Barbara came rushing in.

"Bad news!  Bruce is here!" she said.

"I-I have to go," I whispered and jumped out her window to the tree.

I started making my way down when I heard Bruce's voice from Babs' room.

Bruce's POV

Once I entered the room, I knew Dick was either hiding, or he had left.

How did I know? Easy. Barbara. 

I looked under her bed and in her closet with Jim's help.

All of a sudden I heard a crashing sound outside.

I looked out the window and saw a figure running. It was Dick! I knew it was!

On the top of a building nearby, I could see a man holding a riffle, and it was aimed at Dick. He was gonna shoot him.

"I found him!" I yelled and ran downstairs and left the house.

Dick was still in shooting range.

"Dick!" I yelled. I ran faster trying to catch up to him.

Realising he couldn't outrun me, he stopped, which gave he shooter a perfect shot.

I ran faster and pushed Dick down as soon as soon as the gun was fired.

We both managed to dodge the bullet.

I looked at Dick's face and saw his eyes were tearing up.

I hugged him and Dick started to cry into my shoulder.

I picked him up and called a cab to get back to Wayne Manor.

"Batman to the team and Justice League. Robin is safe and he's back." I said once we were in the cave.

I could hear a lot of sighs of relief and I to had released a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

I saw Alfred talking to Dick. They both turned to look at me. Dick nodded to something Alfred had said, and made his way towards me. 

"Look Bruce. I'm sorry I ran off that way. I know that the I am not the only one strugling to cope with the whole assassin situation, and keeping and eye on me is your way of dealing with it." 

I hugged Dick and said " How about we work together on figuring out this whole situation."

He smiled at me and I smiled back.
