Hey guys so I have had this idea for quite some time and I thought  " JUST DO IT! YESTERDAY YOU SAID TMR SO JUST DO IT!"  So yeah here goes. btw this is just YJ maybe I might add batfam in because come on guys its batfam. 

Btw I own none of these chasacters.

Dick's POV (8 years old)

Living in a circus means that I have been everywhere. I experienced different kinds of people and the different lives of the city. I know what you guys must be thinking. " You're only eight Richard. How can you possibly know different kinds of people."

Well firstly, call me Dick. All my friends and loved ones do. And secondly you may be right but you can see, I am different from most eight year olds.

Anyway today, we stopped at Gotham and gosh this place gives me the heebeegeebees. Yes that is a word. I asked my parents. No! I did not just make that up!

Anywho, I wasn't gonna let the heebeegeebeeness of Gotham keep me from enjoying this tour. Wanna know why? Okay okay since you're all are begging, I finally convinced Tati and Mama and Haley to let me bring my best friend on this tour. His name is Zitka and he's a baby elephant.

Zitka normally doesn't really come on foreign tours so this took a lot and I mean  a lot  of pouty faces to happen.

What? I'm eight, pouty face work almost all the time for me.

So I headed down to Zitka's stable.

" Hi Zitka." I said recieving some elephant noises in return. 

Hey! Elephant noises are hard to copy.

"Wanna go for a walk around the circus?" I asked opening her door.

He lifted his trunk  and started walking out.

Once we left the stable cart, I started leading him towards my cart.

" Look Zitka. This is where I sleep with Mama and Tati. They put me to bed every night and tell me all these cool stories. We have a toilet and it smells weird. but its home and I love it. We also have a mirror which is soooooooo shiny and-" 

" Woah! Here there kido!" Tati came in picking me up and and started tickling me.

" TATI! STOP IT!" I shrieked, unable to control my laughter.

" Oh stop torturing our son John." Mama came in and gave Tati a kiss on the cheek.

" Yuck!" I said making a weird face.

Mama and Tati glanced at each other and and smirked. they both leaned down and each kissed one of my cheeks.

" Ewwwww! Yuckyy! Tatti! Mama!" I said with a half ammused and half disgusted face, rubbing my cheeks from any possible cooties.

"Well well. If it isn't my favourite kid in the world." Haley came up to us with a grin on his face. 

Tati put me down and I ran to Haley and gave him a hug.

" Hi Haley!" I said, Zitka following me to where Haley was.

I pet his trunk.

"Hey Haley. All set for tonight's show?" Mama said, walking up with Tati.

" Not quite. Tonight's show has to be special because we have a very famous person from Gotham coming." He replied.

" Who?" I asked.

" You probably don't know him son." He said ruffling my hair until he saw my serious expression.

" Bruce Wayne." He sighed.

"You mean that really rich guy who goes out with a gajillion girls?" I asked.

"Yeah. How did you know?" Haley asked giving me a surprised look along with my parents.

" I'm not that stupid." I huffed.

" Anyways do you need any help?" Tati asked.

" As a matter of fact, yes. John, Mary, can you please help a few of the others with putting up decorations? " Haley asked.

" Sure." Mama said as Tati ruffled my hair and then they both left.

" I wanna help!" I said.

" Sure thing son. I need Zitka to take a bath. Could you wash him?" He asked.

I put my hand in a salute and yelled "Yes sir!" before marching off with Zika copying my leg movement.

 I quickly glanced behind to see Haley smirk. But that smirk soon left when a man in a long brown coat and a brown hat came up to Haley. 

I stopped marching. 

This guy doesn't belong here!

" What do ya say Zitka? Wanna do some snooping?" I asked.

He made some sounds which I assumed as yes.

" Okay but we have to be really sneaky okay? So we have to keep quite." I said placing a finger to my lips.

" I can't do it Mr Zucco! my circus isn't used for smuggling weapons or drugs or basically anything. So good day and good bye!" Haley yelled.

That was rather odd.

Suddenly the strange man came out.

He looked at me and I gave him a weird look.

He smirked and mumbled something. Not sure what it was but if I heard right, he said, " Haley's gonna pay for this."

Later that night, it was our time. The Flying Graysons! I love being and acrobat. The thrill of it all is just super.

" And for our closing performance, Ladies and Gentlemen! The Flying Graysons!They do all their stunts without the use of a net." Hally yelled.

Its our time now.

Tati swung towards Mama and me doing a flip in the middle before catching Mama and pulling her along with him.

Suddenly my eyes rested on the rope that was used to carry Tati and Mama before they go on to pull me in. 

I gasped. I ropes were cut. They were coming loose! I tried to shout at my parents to get off from the other said but I was frozen.

By the time they came to me, the rope snapped and my parents fell

"DICK!" Mama yelled.

. I couldnt watch it so I closed my eyes. However I could not close my ears when I heard the sickening 'crunch' sound.

I peeked through my fingers and what I saw made me want to puke. 

I stayed where I was, many feet from the ground. I was crying, which turned to sobbing and then screaming.

It was that Zucco guy! It had to be.

I knew he didn't belong in the circus! I could have done something. Now my parents are dead,

I slowly got down and ran to Haley. Sobbing as he held me tight.

All I could think of was that my parents were dead and it was my fault for not warning them.
