Hi everyone! So I know it's been a while since I updated, but I will try to do so more often, before my school starts

Dick's POV

Tonight, I finally slept peacefully.

Don't get me wrong, the Assassins were still in my dreams, but for the first time, I wasn't fighting them alone. A big bat was there with me. It was the first time I felt safe in my sleep

I woke up to the sight of Bruce in his Batman suit.

"Did you even sleep last night?" I asked.

"No. I didn't, but I caught the person who tried to shoot you last night."

"Who was it?" I asked.

" Not any known villain. In fact, there were no bullets in his gun. It was actually just a dart gun. Basically Bruce Wayne is rich, so kidnapping his ward for a ransom is how some people try to make a name for themselves. "

The last time I was held at ransom, was the day I found out Bruce was Batman. However it was The Joker and Harly who had captured me.

"Well I'm gonna be busy here for the day so you should go ahead to Mount Justice. Black Canary has a sparring session with everyone  today so you best hurry up."

I nod and make my way out.

"Not so fast! You haven't had breakfast young master," Alfred came in with a tray of waffles.

I grab a few and make my way to the Zeta tubes.

I grab my sunglasses and put them on to hide my identity to the rest of the team.

"Hey Robster!" Kid Flash speeds up to me. 

"Sup Wallman!" I say as we hi five.

"So where is everyone?" I asked.

"Miss M and Supey are in the living room, watching static and Artemis is training with a dummy down the hall." 

"Wow. And what have you been doing?" I smirk.

"Waiting for you. Dude you can't just run away like that and expect me not to ask about it!" Wally states.

"Look it was nothing. I was overreacting and stuff just happened," I state.

"Okay, but if anything bothers you, you know The Wallman is always there," He pats my shoulder and we make our way to the living room where Artemis and Kaldur had also joined a while back. 

"Robin! Hi!" M'gann said and hugged me.

"Uh.. nice to see you too Miss M,"I reply

 "How many people know?" I whispered to Wally.

"All of us," Superboy replied.

He gestured to his ears as a response to my shocked face.

Oh right...

"All right team. Today we are going to work a little more on sparring. You will each have a one on one with me and after that, we are gonna spar with each other. So I will start with Superboy. The rest of you can just enjoy each others company.

"This is gonna be a long day." I say.

After Superboy was done, it was Miss Martians turn and then Wally and then Artemis followed by Kaldur.

Finally it was my turn. I was told that while I spar with BC, the rest of the team were taking time to spar with each other.

"Hello Robin!" Dinah said.

"Sup," I reply.

" Okay so I have decided to train with you one on one, longer than the rest because I don't think right now is the time you should work with super powered beings like your friends."

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Recent things have happened that causes the Justice League to feel that you are not ready for the bigger bad guys," She says in a comforting tone.

There was nothing comforting about what she said.

"But I have handled the worst of the worst with Batman, The Joker, for example!" I started getting mad.

"Yes. But that is with Batman. Not by yourself. Recent events have made us see that you need more practice."

"I have more practice than everyone else in my team!" I yell.

"Yes, but you are still a child with no powers. Artemis is the only other person in your team who has no powers but she knows her limits. You feel like you are Batman and I get it, but Batman has limits too." 

"Batman feels I'm not good enough either am I right? He told me there was a special sparring session with you today. You guys think you know everything and that I am this lame child who's like this wannabe Batman? Well I earned my place. Do you think Batman just lets anyone into hiss life and into his secret? Look I know what happened last night affects a lot that has been going on, but you have to know that those Assassins are not after me, they are after Batman. You know what, forget it. I'm headed back to the Batcave!" I yell and storm to the zeta tube.

Once I reached the Batcave, Bruce asked me how my session went and I couldn't face him. We agreed that we would deal with this stuff together, but what happens in the end, the League think that I don't know my limits, that I am over exceeding myself.

I ran to my room and I could hear Bruce trying to follow me. I slam my door shut and lock it.

Bruce's POV

I have no idea what happened. Dinah told me that today's sparring session was going to be different, and that it was important that Dick came.

I just assumed that she meant to send the same message to all the other members in his team.

"Batman to Black Canary," I call.

"Look I'm really sorry for what I said to the boy. " Dinah just blurts.

"What did you say?" I growl. If she was here, she would be getting the deadliest Bat glare I have ever given.

" That he should know his limits and not spar with his other team members for a while,"

"What right do you have to tell him any of these things!" I yell.

"Batman, you know yourself that things have been hard for the boy and he needs to take things slow." Dinah replies.

"I do. I tried to keep an eye on him but that ended up in him running away. I promised him that we would work this through together," I say, understanding her reason. 

"Next time if you want to say stuff like this to him, talk to me first," I say and hang up.

I make my way to Dick's room and knock.

There was no answer.

"Dick, open up. I have the keys to your room so no matter what, I-"

"Master Bruce, sorry to say but I think Master Dick took the keys in with him." Alfred came.

"Plan two then," I state, and make my way outside.

I grab my grappling hook and use it to climb up to Dick's window.

"Dick?" I call by his window.

"Go away Bruce," he replied in a muffled voice.

I open his window and come inside.

He was on his computer. I glance at what he was doing and realised he was trying to hack into the camera footage of the fight he had with the assassins.

I pull him away from the screen, and notice tear  stains on his cheeks. I drag him to his bed where we sat.

"Look I talked to Black Canary about what happened. I didn't know the league had been talking about you behind my back. I told them that you and I are going to deal with it together so unless any of us ask for it, you won't be facing anymore of what happened," I say.

Dick nods and tries to smile.

"I'll leave you alone. If you want to stay away from the team for a while, let me know okay?" I say and make my way across the room.

"Bruce,"

I turn around," Yeah?"

"I wouldn't mind a short break from the team just for a week," Dick replies.

"Oh.. okay, I'll let your team know," I say, and leave the room.

I know Dick very well. He is not asking for a break, to rest and take things slow. Nope. He is gonna be working on something. I just don't know what yet.
