Ch. 2: A wild creature with a perfect body
Sirius' POV (Angela)
I smirked as I saw her running away. Too bad I could not get her name because I had the sudden urge to get to know her. I was surprised I never noticed a wild creature like her.
A wild creature with a perfect body.
To say she was beautiful would be an understatement. She had a small frame, much smaller compared to mine. She was somewhat fragile, like a wounded animal. The first thing I noticed was her eyes. I could see her soul in those large, brown eyes. Her lips looked soft and pouty. Her pale skin was completely flawless.
I felt my jeans tightened as I imagined sinking my teeth into her perfect skin.
And her scent....
She had a strong scent. It was not bad, quite the opposite. It was arousing. I had never smelled something so overwhelming and intoxicating. I wanted to pull her into my arms and inhale every part of her body.
She had a foul mouth for a sweet little human, which caught me off guard. No one ever dared to talk to me like that. This school was my territory, and I was feared by most. But when I looked into her large, expressive eyes, I didn't see fear.
I saw curiosity and... contempt?
That would not do, I decided. I would not let a mere human disregard me. She would acknowledge me and fear me! Next time, I would not let her slip away so easily.
After school, I decided to stop thinking about her and met with my three best friends, otherwise known as my pack members. Xander, Robbie, and Xavier. The four of us ruled our high school and kept the strays away.
Xavier grinned when he saw me walking toward them.
"Well, about time you got here. Did your tongue get stuck inside Stacy's throat again? Or was it someone else this time?" he asked.
"Watch it, Xavier. Want me to remind you who your alpha is?" I barked.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. We need to discuss the party," he said.
"What party?" I raised my eyebrows. There was always some type of wild gatherings we were invited to, and frankly, I was starting to get sick of it.
"Don't tell me you forgot already? The Y-triplets are throwing a birthday bash, and we're invited. Because why wouldn't we be? We're fucking hot!" Xavier exclaimed.
Xander rolled his eyes.
Typical Xavier and his humongous ego.
"You do realize they aren't actually triplets, right? I mean, they look nothing alike for gosh sakes," Robbie commented.
"Who the fuck cares whether they're related or not. The point is, we should all be there. There'll be a plethora of hot girls, and maybe I'll finally find a mate," Xavier said with a dreamy look on his face.
Mate...
The word felt strange to me. I had never really thought about having a mate or imagined what she would be like. I was too busy burying my bone inside anyone who fit my needs. Can you blame me? Girls threw themselves at me, so why should I not take that opportunity?
Xavier, on the other hand, was different. He believed he would find his Mate one day, and they would live happily ever after.
How nauseating.
But he was right about one thing. The party would bring more women. Either human or wolves. It did not make any difference to me. I just wanted to get laid.
"I am in," I said.
My smile changed into a frown when I saw Tiffany approaching. I was in no mood for her. I slept with her once, and now she thought she was my potential mate. This was why I preferred sleeping with a human over a wolf. Half the human does not know we exist, so I did not have to deal with the whole 'make me your mate' bullshit.
"Sirius! Have you been ignoring me?" Tiffany whispered and trailed her fingernails on my arm.
"We're going to leave you two alone to talk. Let's go, guys," Xander said.
I looked at him warningly, trying to signal them not to leave me alone with her. But he just grinned and ushered the other two with him.
Remind me to kill him later.
"How can I possibly ignore you, Tiffany? I can smell your arousal from miles away. You want me that bad again, huh?" I said.
"You know, I do. I can't stop thinking about you since that night we spend under the full moon. I want to recreate that moment again," she said and smiled seductively.
Not a chance in hell, I thought.
"Sorry, Tiff. I'm an alpha, so I'm supposed to only sleep with my future Luna. My one true mate. I only did it with you out of pity. If the elderly pack members found out, we both could be in a lot of trouble. So, we should stay away from each other from now on," I said gruffly.
Of course, I was lying through my teeth. There were no such rules in the wolf community. I could sleep with whoever I wanted, but Tiffany was too dumb to know the truth. I just told her this so she would leave me the fuck alone.
Tiffany looked like she was deep in thought for a moment. She came closer and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"But Sirius. We could keep this a secret between us. Besides, why can't I be your mate?"
I unwrapped her arms and pushed her off. "The elders decide who will be my mate and trust me. You are not it," I declared.
Tiffany looked hurt by my harsh words but stepped back. "You will change your mind, Sirius. Mark my words," she said and batted her eyelashes.
No thank you, I thought.
The brown-haired girl's face flashed inside my mind again. Why did I keep thinking about her?
"Anyway, are you coming to the party? Half the school is invited. It's going to be epic!" Tiffany said excitedly. I saw she had already recovered from my rejection.
"I'll think about it," I said and walked away.
If half the school was coming, there was a chance that the brown eyed girl would be there too.
And for some reason, I looked forward to seeing her again.
