❁Chapter Eleven❁
"He's plannin' somethin'" I whispered to my twin brother, ignoring the loud enjoyment of everyone else. Ricky paused with the nose of his beer right in front of his mouth. His eyes turned to me for answers as his smirk fell.
"What ya' mean?" He asked.
I inhaled a deep breath turning it into a sigh, "When we were up there a moment ago, he asked me how i'd feel about a new addition to our family." Just as i finished my sentence, he stood up causing a scene as his chair flew backwards.
"Sean." He roared, making every mouth in the room stop moving. "Can i speak to you- privately?" Sean nodded in approval, following Ricky into the laundry room and shutting the door afterwards. I leaned back in my chair wincing, because i knew Sean would be upset that i mentioned something.
I know i've said this before- my three brothers tell each other everything. I'm always either left out, or just thrown under the bus like right now. Why can't i have at least one sister?
A few eyes turned to me. Of course they assumed that since i was related to them, somehow i'd know what the problem is. I do- don't get me wrong, but i'm not in the mood to have everyone rushing over to me with questions right now.
I quickly grabbed my half emptied beer- drowning the rest of it in one, large gulp. "You shouldn't do that." An alarming voice spoke as his breath tickled my ear.
I knew who it was, too. A voice like that isn't exactly one i can forget. A part of me wanted to smile, but the stronger part said it would only attract unwanted attention. If Sean found out about us, he'd lose it- and i already have too many strikes with him right now.
"You're late." I snapped, noticing his arrival that happens to be forty minutes after the said time.
Ripper grabbed Ricky's beer, taking uninvited sips from it. "Well, I was the one asked to clean up your mess."
My eyes widened, "Don't tell me you canceled the race!"
"Chill out." He rolled his dark eyes, "That son of a bitch wouldn't compromise."
A feeling of relief engulfed my body. I've never been more proud of our mayor. I hate his guts, but right now- i love him.
"Thank God." I muttered, "I would've lost it if he called it off."
He sat there staring at me with a curious look. "Why do you want the race to happen so badly? Ya' know your ass is most likely dead."
This time I rolled my eyes, "Everybody's sayin' that." I slammed my beer bottle down on the table, "I'm tired of people thinkin' I can't do it. I know i can, I know i have a fair shot. He's a nascar racer! Not a street one. He didn't grow up like i did- always havin' to deal with the rough lifestyle i was born into. Racin' like that was the only thing I had, and still is today. It's what gets me through harder times. I do it because it's somethin' that helps me- not fans, not bank accounts, and especially not television ratings."
Ripper stared at me impassively. That's when the door opened, and both my brothers walked out. Sean looked content, while Ricky looked unsure of something. I could tell he wasn't exactly excited about what was about to happen. Ripper noticed that was his cue to go to his assigned seat across the table, and stood up handing Ricky his emptied beer bottle.
"Everybody, I have somethin' I'd like to do." Sean had a wild grin on his face. I alarmingly looked at Ricky who was glaring at Ripper, muttering curse words under his breath.
"Ricky!" I yelled in a sharp whisper, getting his attention. "Well?"
All he did was shake his head, and toss the empty bottle in the bin across the room. He silently took his seat, and i knew that was all i'd be getting out of him right now.
Sean walked over to Foxy, grabbing her hands. She looked at him with a cocked eye-brow. "Beth McShay-" He began, me starting to figure out what was about to happen. "We've been datin' for quite a while, and i think it's safe to say that- I love you. I love you more then i've ever loved anythin' else in this world."
A few people 'awed'- but not me, not Ricky, not Wesley. All three of us looked at each other with an unhappy glare on our faces. We most definetly weren't excited for this 'new addition'.
Sean got down on his knee as Beth began to tear up, "I know i ain't rich baby, and i know i can't give you every damn thing ya' could ever want- but i know that i can give you my love forever, until the day I die and beyond. So Beth-" He took out a small box, opening it to reveal a gorgeous diamond ring, "Will you marry me?"
A few tears streamed down her face as my mouth fell open. How could Sean just propose to her without even asking if we were okay with it? Sean, Wes, and Ricky and I were a family that promised to stick together- but how can we do such a thing if Sean wont even discuss his plans to add to our family?
"Yes, yes yes!" She squealed, a large smile appearing on her face as he slipped that expensive ring onto her finger. My face burned once she jumped up to hug him. As soon as Sean's eyes met mine, i slammed my two hands down, and stormed out of our house onto the front porch.
I grabbed my hair tightly, closing my eyes to calm myself down. The front door swung open, and two people touched my shoulders. "Tip, calm down."
I dropped my hands and spun around to see Wesley and Ricky. "How could he not say anythin'?"
"Look, i agree. He should've mentioned it to us- but can't ya' just be happy for him? This is somethin' he wants." Ricky said, looking up at the night sky that was lit up with a thousand tiny stars.
"I'm not very happy about it either, sis. " Wesley added, "But just give him a break."
"A break?" I scoffed, "What about all the times he's flipped out over somethin' little i've done? Nobody's ever given me a break. So it's okay for him to decide on his own he wants to marry someone, but it's not okay if i happen to race when nobody's even around?"
They both sighed with apologetic eyes, "He has a point though. Racin' killed our-"
"Mother." I finished for my second oldest brother, "Yea, i know- but things are so much different now. I have just as good of a chance of survivin' as Sean does."
The door swung open once more, revealing the one i needed to be away from. Wesley and Ricky slowly backed up, but Sean blocked the door. I rolled my eyes, turning around again so i couldn't see his face anymore.
"I don't want to do anythin' if you wont be happy about it." Sean spoke, breaking the odd silence.
"Sure didn't seem like that five minutes ago when ya' randomly popped the question to Foxy." I crossed my arms, and stuck out my hip.
"I know, i should've said somethin'- but i tried before i came downstairs. Remember what i asked ya'?"
I nodded slowly, "But you never explained what ya' wanted to do. You just blew it off, and that wasn't cool." I turned to face him with sad eyes, "Whatever happened to just us four stickin' together, huh? We made a pact a long time ago that'd it always be just us. Now, it us and your new fiance."
He shook his head,"I thought it'd be good for us. Beth's a respectable woman, Tip. People look up to her just as much as they look up to me. It's only right for us to wed-"
"But it shouldn't be about what's right for our gang, Sean. It should be about what's right for our family." I stated. Sean licked his lips, looking to see if Ricky or Wesley would help him out. They both avoided eye contact with him, though. I knew they thought I was right this time.
"It will be right for our family. You need a female to help guide you, and Beth's perfect for knockin' that female sense right into-"
"I don't need a mom!" I shouted, a little louder and more alarming then planned, "Most of my life i've lived without one, so what makes ya' think that all of a sudden i need a motherly influence?" I looked at his expression, and knew exactly why in a second. "You' want her to talk me out of this race, don't you?"
The way he lowered his eyes, and turned his head said it all. "You bastard." I muttered, "I can handle myself!"
"Obviously, you can't!" He roared, making it feel as if the whole city stopped making a sound. Through the window, i saw majority of the faces looking outside the screen door. Why can't they just mind their own business?
"I'm a big girl, Sean. I don't need someone tellin' what to do anymore. I'm old enough to make my own decisions." I clenched my fists in anger. I'm tired of always obeying his rules made for five year olds. It's my life, and i should be able to control it however the hell I want too.

"Not while you're under my roof." He spat.
I got closer to him- putting my face directly in his. "Then i'll move out tomorrow."
He looked hurt when i left him- along with Wesley and Ricky. Truth is, I was hurt too. I loved my brothers to death, but this was out of hand. Babee's old house is still up for sale. I'm sure she'd let me buy it from her with a reasonable price.
But i'm allowed to make my own decisions- to live my life the way I want too. I wondered my head around, stopping once my eyes landed on Ripper who was talking to Dime while holding a fresh beer.
"And that's where i'm going to start." I whispered to myself, beginning to walk over to the man Sean made very clearly he didn't want me falling in love with. I stepped in front of his chair, staring directly down at him.
"Tip." He addressed, taking a sip of his beer.
"Come with me." I demanded, taking the beer out of his hand.
"Look- I don't think that's such a good idea." He said, reaching for his drink only to frown once i moved it out of his grip. He leaned back in his chair with an eye roll- right before grabbing my arm and pulling me down closer to him. Our faces were barely an inch away from each other. His eyes roamed my lips, before smirking once he successfully removed his beer from my hold.
"I'm too bad for you." He whispered, pushing my body away from his. Dime raised his eyebrows awkwardly as he quickly left Ripper's side.
I concentrated on his beautiful face. "What's wrong with a little poison?"
An amused expression found its way into his eyes. He chugged the remains of his beer, before tossing it into the bin behind him, standing up. "Lead the way."
I turned around, biting my lower lip. Sean would hate this more than anything, but it's something I want. And as you've figured out, I'm going to start doing whatever i feel whenever i feel like it. This is my life.
My bedroom door slammed shut as he forced my body against it. His lips attacked mine, and we powerfully made out. I slowly locked the door so nobody would come in. I couldn't have anyone ruining this for me.
My hands roamed his chiseled abs, and strong chest through his tight shirt. I slipped his jacket off, as he unzipped my dress. Still locking lips ferociously, he picked me up and fell down onto my unmade bed. His lips fell to my neck while my fingers ripped his shirt off.
Next it was my dress,
and then my bra,
and then my panties,
and then his underwear...

Stephen James is such a hunk. I'd love to be in Tip's situation right now.
Anyways, i hope you enjoyed this chapter and please remember to vote, comment, and follow me! I really want this story to win a Watty's award, and if you share it to friends chances are it might! I think more recognition gives the story a better chance of winning, you feel?
Stay tuned for the next chapter as well! Tip's finally taking control of her life- but maybe she doesn't know what she got herself into...
