Bdubs entered his noisy house after a long day of school, wanting nothing more than to take a nap. First grade work was difficult for the smaller Bdubs and exhausted him daily, but so did having a large family. It was never quiet. It did not help they were very nosy as well.

"How was school B?" His older sister asked.

"Good, we had art today that was fun. We were told to draw our dream house." Bdubs excitedly told his sister.

"You do love drawing houses." She laughed before being rudely interrupted by a crash from upstairs.

"WHAT WAS THAT!?" He heard his mother shout from the kitchen.

"NOTHING MAAA!" One of his brothers shouted back down the stairs.

"YOU BETTER NOT HAVE BROKEN ANYTHING JAMES!" His sister shouted up the stairs.

Even though Bdubs was only 8 years old, he understood having a big family meant no quiet or privacy. He headed up to his shared room to find it just as it always is, a mess. He climbed up on to his top bunk ready to fall asleep for a well needed nap.

He was afraid of not getting enough sleep he's seen what happens when someone doesn't sleep enough. Only a few months prior his father overworked himself and didn't sleep at all for three weeks. Ended up in the hospital and passed away from doing so. Bdubs was scared of not sleeping. He's sleeping for his dad.

An hour or two later his family was eating dinner.

"So how was everyone's day?" Their mother asked hopefully.

"I passed my history test"

"Bad I got lunch detention for being tardy"

"Wait a minute where's Bdubs?"

"Probably still napping."

"James go wake him up"

"Ugh fine"

Later during dinner his sister his sister handed him a necklace.

"Thought about you when I saw it." His sister said as he inspected the necklace. It had a small pillow charm on it. Upon putting on the necklace it flowed a soft light.

"Thanks Candace!"

Sorry updates have been quite slow, I really want to work on this book more, but I keep forgetting to write it.

Also I just wanted to give bdubs a large family.
