Their plane landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that night. It was about a forty mile drive to Rosewood from there, and Emily and Aria were picking them up. As soon as they walked through the airport to claim their bags, they were quite shocked by the reactions they got. Men and women of all ages were staring   at them in surprise and excitement. Spencer and Toby looked each other confusedly, but decided to ignore it, until two girls who looked about sixteen, moved toward them with nervous excitement.

                “Um…” the girl with silver hair said, gaping at Toby as if he was the most elegant thing she’d ever laid eyes on, clutching a camera in her hands.

                Her friend, a brunette who was grinning widely, interjected. “Are you guys Toby and Spencer from Not Alone…?”

                Furrowing her brows, Spencer nodded. She and Toby exchanged puzzled glances. People were recognizing them from the show? Was it that popular?

                “Can we please have a photo with you?” the girl with silver hair asked eagerly when she could form words. “You guys were my favorite…”

                “Mine too!” piped the brunette.

                Shocked, Toby and Spencer meekly nodded and smiled beside the girls as they took turns flashing a picture.

                “Thanks…” Toby laughed awkwardly, baffled beyond words.

                “Thank you!” It looked as if the girl with silver hair had to bite her lip to keep from screaming. “You are so cute together.”

                “So cute!”

                Glancing at Toby, Spencer grinned. “Um, thank you. So I guess you guys watch the show?”

                “Who doesn’t?” she smiled. The two girls laughed excitedly together, but before they began to walk off, the girl with the silver hair gazed at Toby again. “You are so hot!” she complimented. Her brunette friend’s eyes widened and instantly pulled her away they ran off.

                Spencer and Toby blinked.

                Spencer chuckled just a bit. “Are we that popular?”

                “I suppose so,” he nodded. They looked at each other and walked to the door.

                “I can’t believe that psycho lady kicked you off!” Emily ranted from the front of the car as she drove down the highway, her hands gripping the wheel tightly. “Now you guys can’t even be a couple! If I were you, Spencer, I would tear those freaking fish lips right off her face.”

                Spencer smiled, but upon hearing her words, Toby grew serious. “You can’t tell anyone about this. We had a contract that Annabella was nice enough not to sue us for. But she will if anyone finds out that we’re still together and that we are forced off.”

                “Don’t worry Toby,” Aria chimed. “You’re secret’s safe with me…and I’ll make sure she doesn’t squeal. But what are you guys going to do about your parents?”

                Spencer let out a breath and rested her head on Toby’s shoulder. “I think I’ll just go with the story that we broke up but are still friends. If I tell them we’re still a couple, they’ll give me a doing smile every time we go into by room just to hang out. I’d rather avoid that awkward stuff,” she joked.

                After she finished speaking, Emily, Alison, Aria, and Hanna laughed, but Toby simply moved a little closer to Spencer, burying his face in her hair, right in the portal of her hair. “Just to hang out?” he whispered with mock disappointment.

                Briefly, Spencer closed her eyes as his deep voice rung through her ears. She pulled herself on his lap to rest her head on his shoulders. “You know, hanging out: a few hugs here, a few kisses there…maybe if you’re lucky I’ll hold your hand.”

                Toby chuckled, extremely distracted by the feel of her sweet breath on his neck. “That sounds perfect.”

                “Indeed,” Spencer agreed, lightly running her fingers along his chest until her hands were on the back of his neck. Lifting her head slightly, she brushed his lips against it, though it quickly grew into a much more intense lip lock. After all, when didn’t their simple kisses fade to something much more passionate?

                “Yeah, there’s no way you guys are going to fool anybody,” Alison announced amusedly, making Spencer and Toby pull away from each other, red-faced and flustered.

                “We seemed to do a good job at fooling people that we were in love when we first went on the show,” Spencer said.

                “Oh please! That shouldn’t even be considered fooling! Anyone with eyes could see that you guys were all smitten. Aria giggled. “I told you guys. I told you in fifth freaking grade that there would someday be a Spoby. As usual, I was right!”

                Toby arched a brow. “Spoby?”

                Spencer smiled at him. “I kind of like it. Spoby…has a nice ring to it.”

                Proudly smiling, Hanna nodded. There was a comfortable silence for a few minutes, Spencer and Toby took in the familiar setting of Rosewood, hands entwined. They passed Ezra’s apartment, which hadn’t seemed to change a bit, and Rosewood High…until they came to a stop at the Hastings house.

                Toby and Spencer’s eyes widened in surprise.

                There had to be at least the entire sophomore class standing in the front lawn with bright smiles on their faces. Hanging right above the door, in big bold letters, were the words, “Welcome home, Spencer and Toby!”

                “You threw a party?” Spencer asked, not sure whether to feel excited or uncomfortable. She never did like being the center of attention. She looked around in shock, opening the door.

                “Actually, no,” Aria grinned.

                “I did.” Out of the crowd stepped a woman with jet black hair, and ice blue eyes. Although she was never one to be genuine, she grinned. “Hello, sister.”

                Spencer smiled. “Melissa.”
