The First Day
Wally separated from Gizmo, Seemore, and Mammoth when they got to the school. He was looking for room 52 when someone ran into him.
"Sorry, dude. Vic, give it back!" He looked to see a lean boy with blonde hair and green eyes trying to get a book back from an African American guy with a football player's build.
"Why? Does it have private things in it?" The guy teased.
"YES!!" The shorter one grabbed the book back then turned to Wally.
"Sorry, man. I'm Garfield and this is Vic."
"Hi." The guy, Vic, waved.
"I'm Wally."
"Nice to meet cha Wally!" (Yes,I meant to put cha instead of you. If you say the sentence out loud it makes sense.) A girl with flaming red hair and electric green eyes walked over with a boy that had blue eyes and black hair. Garfield looked as though he had just remembered something new had forgotten.
"Oh yeah! This is Kori," he gestured to the girl, "and Richard," he gestured to the boy, "guys, this is Wally."
"Hello Wally." Kori said with a very wide smile.
"Hi." Richard said with a small smile of his own. Vic reached over and grabbed Garfield's book.
"Hey!" Vic ignored him and flipped to the first page.
"Wow." Was all he said as he continued to flip through the book.
"You have to see this." He showed the book, which was actually a sketch book. There was a picture of an African jungle with colors that blended so it looked almost exactly like an actual jungle. The next pages had pictures of Vic, Kori, and Richard. Some were colored and some were just sketches, some group and some single. The last 15 pages were of one girl with purple hair and pale skin. Her eyes were a deeper purple than her hair. She wasn't smiling, but her eyes showed different emotions. The next were of her reading, sitting, one was her with a ghost of a smile on her lips. Just then, the girl in the picture walked up to the group.
"Hey, what are you guys looking at?" Garfield blushed and ripped the sketch book from Vic's hands.
"H~hey Raven." He stuttered nervously.
"Hi." Garfield looked anywhere except her eyes. He suddenly spotted Wally.
"Oh yeah! Wally, this is Raven. Raven, Wally." She waved at Wally. The bell rang before anyone got to say anything else.
"Hey, Raven." Ashley greeted Raven after school. They both worked at the library after school. Raven was just like Ashley. Creepy to most people, natural unnatural ~ colored hair, and uncontrollable magic powers. They had been friends since they both lost control on the same way too their houses. They hung out whenever they could.
"Hey Ashley." Ashley was one of the few people who could get Raven to smile. Today Raven was supposed to leave early to meet with her friends, which Ashley didn't mind. Raven spent more time with her than the rest of her friends. 5 hours after school ended Raven packed her books and left.
"Hey Ashley." She looked up from her book, The City Of Bones, to see Wally standing in front of hey desk.
"Yes, are you having trouble finding anything?" She asked as politely as possible.
"No, I just wanted to talk to you."
"Um...okay." They spent the next hour talking about what Wally liked and who Ashley didn't like. Then Ashley's watch timer went off.
"It's closing time."
"Why don't I walk you home?"Ashley blushed .
"Okay." They got to their houses.
"So, I'll talk to ya later?" Wally asked.
"Sure." He left her at her driveway, her last thought before heading inside being, What is it about him that makes me act like that?
