Madison's POV

I drove back to Laurens' house to pick my bag. I had forgotten it in the morning and I needed it for work. I knocked on the door a couple times, maybe no ones home, I thought. I took out the spare key that Laf gave me in case anything happened. I opened the door and went upstairs to John's room. Oh how I love him, Stupid Alex, doesn't know what he has lost. I opened the door and walk to the desk where I put my bag. I looked back and saw the bathroom door open with an arm on the floor laying limp. I open the door even more to see John laying there with a bottle in his hand. I grabbed my phone and quickly dial 911.

"Hello! Hello, yes. I need an ambulance ASAP. My friend tried committing suicide, but there's a faint pulse. Please hurry."

As I wait for the ambulance, I call Laf.

"Hey mon ami, what's wrong?"

"It's John. I came back to pick up my bag and I found him on the bathroom floor with a bottle in his hand. I already called the ambulance. They're here, meet us at (insert hospital name)."

The ambulance came and they put John on a stretcher while I climbed into the car and they drove us to the hospital. They rushed John into a room and Laf joined me along with Herc.

"Mon ami, where's John?"

"T-They To-Took him int-into the r-r-room."

I walked outside and quickly called Alex, knowing that he was the cause of John's attempted suicide(#psychicpowers)

"Hey, Madison."

"GOD I F***ING HOPE YOUR HAPPY."

"Wh-what did I do?"

"WHAT DID YOU DO? ARE YOU ASKING THAT? REALLY?"

"James, just because I left you for Hamilton, doesn't mean you have to yell at him?"

"I don't care about myself, Thomas. I care about John. I care about the freckled-boy who is taking away his life just because he couldn't get the one thing he needed in his life, Love."

"What do you mean? I thought he had everything handed down to him," Thomas said, confused.

"No No, you have it all wrong. John decided he was a boy and gay at the age of 8. Lost his mom at the age of 10, was abused by his father until he died when John was 12. He moved in with his uncle Andre Laurens(actually John's great grandfather). He raped or sexually assaulted him for the next 8 years, so he would agree that he was a girl, until he moved away for college. I remember he would come to school in clothes covering his neck to hide the hickies. Then you hurt him Alexander, you f***ing hurt him.''

"He never told me this. And how did I hurt him?"

"You hurt because he loved you. He was going to tell you but you broke him by telling him you were dating Jefferson. In front of you he was all happy, but as soon as you left, he broke down. He couldn't walk or move, I had to pick him up and carry him into the car."

''I-what hospital are you guys at?"

"(Insert Hospital name)"

"Ok we're coming."

I went back inside to see Laf and Herc crying. I run up to them and they told me that John's in a coma and that he had cuts on his arms and stomach. I walked up to the nurse and asked her if I could see him and she said it's alright. I walk in and sit down next to John's limp body. I hold his hand and start petting it and warming it.

"John, please don't die on me. I love you too much to lose you."

I kissed his hand and then his forehead. I got up to find that Laf, Herc, Alex, and Thomas were there. Laf hugged me and started crying on my chest. I hugged him back and started crying myself.

"Y-you l-lo-love John? Pro-promise you'll n-never hurt my son."

"Yes I do. I promise I'll never hurt him."

Alex, Thomas and Herc join the hug. We all cry for a long perodically time. Then Alex and Thomas each grab one of John's hands and sit on that side.

"J-John I didn't know your past was so bad. I'm sorry I was part of your suicide attempt. Just don't die on us. We need you."

"I-I am so so sorry. Alex, Madison, and everyone including me need you. Please don't leave us."

I was asleep on a chair next to John's body when I heard a small squeak. I woke up and saw John moving and opening his eyes. I sat up straight(hah u wish u were) and helped him sit up.

"T-thanks Madison."

"J-John you-you finally talked after so many years."

"I know. You know I could hear y'all talking though I was in a coma."

And that's when I realized I f***ed up.

"Y-you could??" I exclaimed, blushing.

He nods his head and motions for me to come closer. He put his head on mine and comes closer until he closes the gap between us. I looked at him with shooketh eyes but after reality hit me, I closed them. He pulled away and looked at, putting his hands on my cheeks.

"Y-you won't cheat me?"

"Of course John, I won't. I love you."

He gave me one of his toothy smiles. I smiled back and hugged him for at least 5 minutes. While I was hugging a happy, crying John Laurens, Alex, Thomas, Laffy Taffy, and Herc came in and looked at us. They smiled as we parted and looked at them.

"John, mon cher fils(my dear son), don't do that again. Nous t'aimons trop(we love you too much)."

"Désolé il y avait trop à gérer(sorry there was just too much to handle)."

"C'est bon(it's ok). Oui vous parlez encore après tant d'années(yes you are talking again after so many years)."

"Oh hon hon oui oui baguette," the author screamed, disappearing as quickly as they came.

"English please."

"Par-sorry, mon ami."

"It's alright."

"H-hey John."

"Oh hey Alex and Thomas."

"I-I'm sorry for being a part-"

"Shhhhhh I know. I forgive y'all."

The doctor came in, checked John, made him sign the discharge papers and let us go. We drove home and I was happy. I found out that the person I love is mine and that no one will ever come in our way.
