Chapter 49

She was a vision shrouded in color. Stained glass suited her well. If she had to be embodied in it after her existence I know it would do her justice. She would live forever through the glass and people will know her as I knew her.

~Luca

Elizabeth's POV

I put my arms through the sleeves of my black winter coat. Considering I dressed without any help from Blaire, I'd say I did well. Besides, it was standard winter attire; boots, jeans, beanie, and coat.

I played the dressing neutral. Luca refused to tell me where he was taking me. I put my hair down for the extra warmth. My body had forgotten just how brutal the wind and snow were.

"Lizzy, Luca is downstairs," Blaire said, appearing at my bedroom door. "You look really beautiful."

"Thanks at least I get points for dressing myself."

Blaire smiled wryly. "Sure," she dragged out. I'm sure Stephanie would have given me the points with the same amount of enthusiasm as Blaire.

I walked down the steps and saw Luca dressed in a black coat as well. He looked handsome and princely again. "You ready love?" He asked and I nodded. He reached out his hand for me and I took it. I didn't know my hands were cold till I felt the inviting warmth of his.

"See you guys later," I told them and both Blaire and Himari smiled before chiming a very girly goodbye.

Luca opened the car door for me and I got in. He got in the driver's seat. "So why are you being so secretive where are you taking me?" I asked.

"I kind of have to make right on an official date." He smiled.

"Oh, are you afraid I'm going to tell everyone my first date with you was at McDonald's," I giggled.

"Oh," he grinned. "So it was a date then."

"If it was and I'm not saying it was," I pointed out, "I wouldn't of minded."

"Why can't you just admit you had the hots for me from the first day," he smirked.

I laughed. "Who in this century says the hots?"

"Evading the question so it must be true then."

I paused a small smile on my face as I tried to recall the mixed feelings. "I remember very vaguely of being between liking and killing you."

He looked at me considering my words. "Huh, talk about that fine line between love and hate."

"Are you going to tell me where we going?"

"No Miss Blaine be patient."

I fiddled with my fingers as I looked out my window. "I'm not good at surprises it makes me anxious."

"I'm sure you can be a little patient if you tried love," he said and entwined our fingers. He brought it to his lips and kissed the back of my hand.

I sighed and looked at the snowy roads. The traffic was moving slowly and I was surprised at how calm Luca was about it. He had the radio on so I distracted myself by listening to the news.

Soon he turned into an undercover parking of a skyscraper. I looked around at the parking and it wasn't filled. Not knowing what we were doing today was eating me alive.

He got out of the car and I followed suit. He popped the trunk of his car and pulled out a box "Here." He smiled.

"What is it?"

"You'll have to open it and find out." He grinned.

"You can't keep buying me gifts." My voice came out stern.

"Last one till your birthday," he smiled gingerly, "I promise."

"Can't you skip my birthday since you got me this?" I picked my hand up turning my wrist to emphasize the bracelet on my hand, that I was stupid enough to think wasn't real.

He thought he was so clever using my lack of knowledge of jewelry to trick me, but he forgot I lived with other girls who know about diamonds!

Last night Himari and Blaire caught a good look at the gemstone in the bracelet he gave me for Christmas. If I had known that there was a chance that it could be a real red diamond I would have never accepted it. I only had one way right now to confirm what Blaire told me."You lucky I'm keeping quiet about this and never fry you for this bracelet as soon as I got in the car with you. Don't you dare spend so much money on me again."

"And here I thought you were keeping quiet about it," he snickered.

"No more diamonds!" I demanded. I was really hoping he'd debunk Blaire's theories and say no it isn't real or burst out laughing at me for thinking he actually bought me a diamond.

He sighed running his long fingers through his hair. A cheeky smile formed on his face. "How did you even find out it was real. I was hoping you wouldn't for a very long time."

"Well Blaire had her theories and you just proved them. You do realize that this is not okay."

He looked confused. "What about it is not?"

"You can't spend money on me like this. It doesn't make me feel good because I don't have anything to give back to you."

"You give me everything just by being with me. I'm sorry that I upset you. But it was our first Christmas. Look don't pout," he said picking up my chin so that I could look at him. "This is the last gift I promise. If you don't accept it then you won't know what we doing today."

"Give me the box," I stretched out my hands for it and he handed it over with a cautioned smile on his face.

I pulled open the box and it was a pair of ice skates. They were beautiful. The skates were white with a silver design of a wing running along the length of the boot. "Please tell me you rented them," I groaned and looked up at him and he scrunched up his nose like a little kid as a guilty smile formed on his face.

"That's disgusting I would never let you put your feet in shoes that hundreds of people before you have worn."

My eyes widened."You ridiculous!"

"Oh come on be reasonable Liz."

"I can't even skate properly. I probably forgot how-to and here you went spent money on skates that are fit for professionals."

"I'll teach you," he took a step forward and kissed my forehead.

I had to fight very hard to keep myself from giving in completely to his charms. He needed to know that he couldn't get away with stuff like this. "I'm still mad about the bracelet." I tried to fight off his effect and though he nodded I caught that flicker of mischief gleam in his eyes.

"I'm sorry since diamonds aren't your best friend the last thing with a diamond-" he stopped himself and kissed my forehead running his hands up and down the length of my arms and creating warmth. I could feel him smiling against my forehead before he took a step back.

"It just doesn't seem like the sort of thing you give someone so early in a relationship."

"I've been wrong about a lot of things in my life," he said pulling open his car door and pushing me down gently to sit. "This I am certain. You are not and will not be a time I was wrong in this life."

His surety of everything calmed me. It didn't scare me but created this feeling of excitement whenever he spoke about a forever with me. I'd like to call it electrocuted butterflies.

I loved him more than I understood.

I began putting on the skates. The last time I skated on the ice I spent most of the time on my butt and belly than on my feet. I was already clumsy without the complication. Tripping on fresh air, stumbling over my own feet, and feeling imbalanced on flat surfaces. I was as agile and graceful as a penguin. I just hoped I wouldn't go sliding across the rink like one.

Luca helped me to put on the skates. He got down on one knee as he fastened the skates and I couldn't help the blush that crept up on my face. The sight of him in front of me kneeling on one knee and putting on my skate had me smiling like a lunatic.

I cleared my throat before he caught me blushing. He was the epitome of handsomeness and all mine. "How did you even know my shoe size?" I asked trying to subtly wipe the drool off my chin.

"I've been planning the perfect first date since we were in Pasadena. I had to pre-order the skates so I checked your sneaker size."

I laughed. "You a freak. I should probably run from here screaming."

I took a step forward and immediately lost my balance Luca caught me wrapping his arms around me. He laughed and I swatted his chest. "How far do you think you'll get away from your freak of a boyfriend in these?"
I looked up at him and he brushed my hair back. "I got you." He brought his head down and gently pressed his lips against mine.

The warmth from his body enveloped me and goaded me into never moving again. He was like something I could never get enough of. He sparked a feeling of greed in me.

What started as an innocent kiss had my entire body radiating heat. Sending warmth to the tips of my toes and fingers.

We pulled away and I caught my breath. My brain was on standby. "You know you kind of look like a prince."

"Are you teasing me?" He smirked.

"No, and yes," I said touching his smooth face. "I kind of miss the beard though."

He chuckled. "Here I thought you liked the smooth look."

"I liked you just the way you were."

"Really all rugged and scary?"

"You didn't scare me." He closed the small gap between us again pressing his lips against mine gently at first. The kiss deepened and I felt my knees go weak again but this time it wasn't because of the skates.

He pulled away reluctantly and rest his forehead against mine. My eyes were still closed relishing the feeling of being in his arms. "I should probably put on my skates." His voice was raspy.

I opened my eyes. "Probably." I was breathless. I never got tired of kissing him and I momentarily forgot that we were in a parking lot.

He fastened his skates easily and then lead me out the back entrance of the building. It was an outdoor iceless skating rink.

The rink was busy with people skating blissfully and enjoying themselves with their friends and family. Even little kids proved to be effortless at this as they skated past us. A tall green Christmas tree decorated with red and silver ornaments set the scene.

It was beautiful. It looked like a winter wonderland.

Luca was very patient as I took very slow steps. I couldn't afford to lose my balance because there was a very good chance that Luca would lose his too and I didn't want to take him down with me.

He stepped onto the rink and I stood on the concrete avoiding a slippery accident. He was still holding my hand. "Don't be afraid love. I won't let you fall."

I hesitated at first but then I nodded and took a step front. My feet and palms began tingling. The ground was slippery. "I'm going to move is that okay?" He asked.

"Yeah," I smiled sheepishly and he began pulling me slowly with him.

The mini person in charge of working my brain was watching through my eyes and screaming as well as trying to hit the abort mission button. My body was frozen as I let Luca tug me along with him. I was afraid to even breathe.

I heard someone yelp and I turned my head slowly just in time to see them go down. No one laughed but everyone rushed to help him up.

I gulped I needed to distract myself from falling. "So I didn't expect you to be the figure skating type."

He smiled coyly. "Me in tights that would be a sight." He shook his head. "Steph used to take figure skating classes."

"Did she teach you?" I asked tightening my grip on his hand when someone zoomed past me scaring my skeleton out of my body.

"Yes. I had football in the afternoons after school and she had this. We learned a little of each other's hobbies," he smiled at the memory. "Sometimes it was like we were twins, we were inseparable. She would play football with me and I would skate with her when her friends couldn't make it."

"Football might have been easier for me than this," I admitted trying very hard not to focus so much on what I was doing so I didn't fall. I knew if I started panicking I would spend New Year's Eve in the emergency room.

"Do you trust me?" He asked and I looked up at him.

I laughed but it was humorless only because of how scared I was. "Right now with my life yes."

"Good," he said placing both his arms around my waist and spinning in a circle.

"Luca!" I shrieked and he laughed heartedly. He kept his arms around my waist. Other people that skated past us smiled and I buried my face in his chest, holding him tightly.

"Okay, I don't trust you anymore," I panted. "No more tricks."

"Spinning in a circle is hardly a trick," he chuckled. "Just don't think about falling. Enjoy it."

He was right if I focused less on falling. Skating was kind of nice. I felt my adrenaline fizzle out as I allowed myself to be calm and let Luca guide me.

He never let go of my hand once. After a while, the skates started to get a little uncomfortable for me but I didn't want to bring it to his attention he seemed to be having fun. He looked so carefree and young. We spoke about everything and anything the topics between us just seemed to keep flowing.

"What's your favorite classic?" He asked and I didn't even have to think about the answer.

"That's easy. The Picture of Dorian Gray. What's yours?"

"Gulliver's travels."

"I honestly didn't think you read so much," I admitted. He didn't seem like the bookish type.

He laughed but it wasn't scornful. "I had an expensive education," he grumbled.

After a few more laps around the rink and learning that Mr. Badass was secretly a nerd who thoroughly enjoyed the star wars movies. He pulled me back onto solid ground and lead me back to the car.

"Did you have fun?" He asked.

"A lot thank you." I removed the skates and put on my shoes. Luca made quick work of putting on his normal shoes and starting the car. He turned on the heating and took both my hands in his blowing hot air onto them.

"Come," he told me once I was warm. "I want to take you somewhere."

We got out of the warm car again and Luca took my hand in his as we walked through a set of doors to enter the building. The building's interior was lavish. The walls were cream and had gold borders, red velvet carpets covered the floors, warm yellow lighting created a very comfortable and warm atmosphere.

Suddenly I felt Luca's entire body tense beside me as we walked. "I haven't thought this through," he mumbled to himself but continued walking nonetheless.

He lead me to an elevator and began to fidget nervously. His hand in mine even got a little sweaty. "Are you okay?" I asked examining him with my eyes.

"I kind of developed this thing about elevators when I was a child."

"Oh." Realization dawned on me and I remembered how he lied to me that the lift was not working when he first took me to his building. "We can take the stairs," I told him and he shook his head.

"Where I want to take you is too high up. You'll get tired and I want to take you somewhere else after this. Besides, I have you so I don't mind if the elevator gets stuck," he shrugged but I could see it bothered him.

"We seriously don't have to we can-"

"Nope," he said and the elevator dinged. He stepped onto it and I followed him. He hit the very last button and the lift went up. I squeezed his hand for assurance.

As the numbers started increasing he let out a breath and shut his eyes tightly. I could see how uncomfortable he was as his jaw clenched and unclenched. I felt awful that he was going through this discomfort for me.

I reached up and put my arms around his neck. His eyes opened and I pulled him down to me, kissing him without warning. His arms immediately went around me pulling me closer to him so that I was flush against him.

He held onto me tightly as his lips responded eagerly moving in synchronization with mine. I ran my hands through his luscious hair and he bit my bottom lip softly.

The sound of the lift doors opening brought us back to reality and we pulled apart slowly. He broke out into a grin. "What a way to distract me. I look forward to taking this elevator down now." He entwined our fingers and we walked out together.

It was a restaurant. The wall to the end of the restaurant was made out of a long window giving a view of the city. The warm theme of golds and red continued in the restaurant.

A waiter greeted us and lead us to a comfortable booth next to the window. The view of the city was spectacular. We were so high up.

I could hear Luca talking to the waiter while I marveled at the city. I needed to get out more. New York was breathtaking.

I turned back to Luca and he was watching me thoughtfully. It was a very concentrated look I couldn't describe. "Okay so I've been good can you tell me what you have planned for the rest of the day?"

"Why would I do that now." He smiled.

"Please..." I batted my eyelashes.

He sighed. "Liz that's not fair."

"All's fair in love and war," I smiled and he rolled his eyes playfully. "I kind of made a promise to Callum."

"About?"

"Callum asked if we could come to his New Year's Eve party and I said yes."

Luca laughed a little. "He thinks I avoid him but the truth is ever since I started volunteering at the hospital I barely have time for parties or much of anything."

I nodded. I barely had enough time for anything since I came to New York. Between classes, work, sleep, and homework. Twenty-four hours a day was not enough.

I wondered how we were going to make our relationship work and then I thought about all the times Luca would come into the restaurant to irritate me.

It would work, we would find the time.

I looked out the window. "So how did you and Callum meet?" I looked back at him and he threw his head back and smiled.

"I met Ross in one of my physics classes on my first day of university. He invited me to a party and then at the party, I met Callum, and Callum talks to everyone. We were instantly friends he spoke to me like we were old friends," he laughed. "He's a good man."

Callum was the male version of Blaire. They mirrored each other's exuberant hyperactive personality. They were kindred spirits.

"And I guess you met Callum at that party at the beginning of the semester?" Luca grinned.

"Yeah," I laughed thinking about it. "You know... I never told you how grateful I was to the stranger that took care of me that night."

Luca looked out the window as he swallowed. "If you only knew that stranger wanted to leave you alone so badly but couldn't find it in himself to take that chance," Luca reached out and held my hand. "I never asked you but in that parking lot when I was telling you everything why did you believe me. You clearly couldn't remember what I looked like."

I flushed my cheeks feeling warm. "It was your eyes. I could remember seeing these beautiful pair of green eyes that made me feel safe that night."

He smiled my favorite smile. "So you want me for my eyes?"

"The eyes are a bonus but no it's not for the eyes. I'm still curious at what you find appealing in me when you look like that."

"I look like what exactly Elizabeth?" He smirked.

"You know," I rolled my eyes.

"You flatter me too much and see little of what I see."

"Come on. I'm all plain and boring." Luca glared at me as if I insulted him.

"Not to me. You have this pull about you. I can't put my finger on it but I was drawn to you from the first time I laid eyes on you."

I crossed my arms and sighed. "Luca there is nothing unique about me."

"There is plenty," he smiled. "That little beauty spot above your lip." He reached over and ran his thumb over my lip. "I'm crazy for it," he chuckled, "even for your chocolate eyes that look like pools of honey in the sun. You know I love sweets and it's so hard to resist you when you smell of lavender and chocolate."

I bit down on my bottom lip. I wasn't expecting an answer like that. I was thankful for the inventor of cocoa body butter.

The waiter came over and placed the hot chocolate on the table with pancakes, bacon, strawberries, chocolate sauce, and cream in little cups.

After we ate we left the building. I got lazy to move after we ate but Luca promised he just wanted to take me to one place he was guaranteed I'd love.

He parked outside in a parking lot and lead me to a building. I read the words, Brian Clark: The art of light- museum of arts and design on a sign. I immediately broke out into a smile. "A museum but you hate museums."

"Hate is a strong word. I find them boring," he laughed. "But I might have a different opinion on this, you'll see." He took my hand and lead me into the museum.

The art of light was vivid dramatic depictions of art embodied in stained glass. The colors cast colorful shadows on the floor due to light hitting it. It was beautiful, unlike anything I'd ever seen. The intricate detailing and the more you saw as the light hit the glass.

"This is beautiful Luca," I told him as I walked down the long row of standing stain glass. The colors were pulsating and transforming as the tiniest amount of light allowable hit it. I wondered how the place would look on a sunny day with warm sunlight flowing through all the pieces and revealing new secrets in the glass.

I looked around at each piece trying to look further than what was obvious to my eyes. We walked around the museum looking up at the walls where various pieces circled us and hypnotized us with their beautiful colors that cast shadows.

I looked at Luca to catch his reaction and the beautiful myriad of colors danced off him as well. It looked like the breath got caught in his throat as he turned and his eyes landed on me.

He took a step towards me, touching a strand of my hair. "Stain glass suits you well." He stroked my cheek as he searched my face. I leaned into his touch. "I'll probably make an exception for stained glass museums only."

I touched his cheek where a warm yellow and red pattern fell. He looked beautiful and mystical in this light. The colors dancing off his green eyes in a fantastical way.

I had a hard time staring at him without the pretty colors distracting me. It felt like I could stare at him forever in this light. I don't know how long we stood there tracing the patterns on each other's faces with our fingertips.

But we were taken by the effect of the glass.

**********
After an adventurous day, we went back to my house and decided to take a nap, or else we'd both be too tired to stay up until midnight.

When we woke we decided to take a walk down to Callum's house. Blaire and Himari were already gone.

It was a little past eleven o'clock and the pale moon peeked behind thick grey clouds. "I'm taking James to the airport tomorrow morning. So I'll have the apartment all to myself," Luca broke the comfortable silence. "You know it's going to be lonely without a housemate."

"Really?" I laughed considering the meaning of his words. "Don't even think about it, Hendricks."

He chuckled. "Of course I know I'll get a solid no so I won't." He smiled. "Only because it's too soon and not because living with me is all that terrible?"

"I've lived with you in England."

"Yes, we lived like an unhappy married couple. Me on the couch and you on the bed." He brought my hand up so that he could kiss it.

"I'd automatically get James's room if I agreed?"

"Sure you could have it if you want but I'd doubt you'd sleep by yourself."

"And why is that?"

"Because ur the apartment is cold. Also, it's said to be haunted. How else do you think I get away without paying rent."

I laughed. "I'm not afraid of ghosts."

"Ah yes, my love it is the ghost that will not cross you in fear of a stern talking too and a twitching lip."

I laughed. The fact that he considered living with me was pleasing but also scary. When he's near me all doubts seem to vanish but when he is away I get anxious.

Withdrawals.

It's unhealthy and I think the correct word for the addiction is clinginess. I've never felt so pulled to one human before. He became the reason I smile and daydream my day away when he's not near.

It scared me and I knew if I agreed to move in with him I'd might as well handcuff us together. We needed a balance for a while. Time away to think. I wasn't sure how to do this. I only ever had Tyler and a highschool relationship compared to an adult one seemed entirely different.

"What's wrong?" Luca's voice was one of caution.

"Nothing just thinking."

"I mean you no pressure. It was silly for me to even attempt to pitch the idea."

"It's okay. I'm glad you did."

Luca sighed. "Why do we count days and weeks we spend with each other. Why don't we count moments and experiences instead. I know I haven't known you long but it doesn't feel that way."

"I know it doesn't." I couldn't help but agree. I felt like I knew him for longer than a few months.

"I don't want to think about my life without you. You bring color and light into my universe. You make my heartbeat to the point it rings in my ears. I feel lively with you."

He was so good with words and yet I was a moron who couldn't articulate my feelings well. "You make me smile. Genuinely. The sound of your laughter creates a flutter of pure bliss through me. I'd want nothing more than to wake up next to you each day but it scares me that if we move too fast and without caution we'll crash. I'm already stuck to you. I find it hard to be apart from you. I'd handcuff us together if I could help it."

"You've got it that bad for me?" He smiled and I blushed.

"Clearly."

"Then you should know I wouldn't mind being handcuffed to you." I smiled and he bent down slightly to give me a small peck on my lips. "You my everything."

We walked up the driveway to Callum's house. The music wasn't as loud as the last time I remembered. Luca opened the door for me and the party was civilized. There wasn't a foul stench of alcohol in the air and people were just talking and sitting around.

It could have also been because some students still hadn't returned. I saw Beckett sitting at the steps alone with a red cup in his hands.

"I'm going to talk to Beckett," I told Luca. He looked towards Beckett and then he looked at me. For a moment I thought he'd stop me.

"Fine," he sighed and kissed my temple. "I'll be in the kitchen."

I walked over to Beckett and he took a swig from the cup he clutched. He didn't look up as I approached and I sat down next to him on the steps. "Johnny English isn't the jealous type I'm surprised," Beckett said and his voice was thick.

"I didn't know that you drink." I looked down at my hands.

"Well it is New Year's Eve and I don't care much for remembering this one."

"Beckett, please. You said you never wanted to lose me as a friend. Were those just words?"

He sighed. "No Lizzy they weren't."

"So are we still friends?"

He laughed. "Give a guy a break okay. My ego is just wounded."

"I'm sorry," I told him and he nudged me with his shoulder.

"As long as he makes you happy don't be sorry." We sat in silence for a while. "You know I can't help but hate him a little. I feel like if he hadn't taken you to England you would be with me now."

I bit my bottom lip. "Don't hate him because of me. It takes two to tango."

He chuckled. "I'd like to think the dance was between us and then he cut in."

I laughed and shoved his shoulder. "How much have you had to drink tonight?"

"It's only my fourth and it's lite beer," he told me.

"So you'll remember this conversation tomorrow?"

"Every detail of it," he said. "For what it's worth I love you Liz and I'll always be here for you whether it be as a friend or lover," he said suggestively.

I laughed and took the cup out of his hands. "Okay, you cut off."

"I was partially kidding," he smiled and I rolled my eyes at him. He put his arm around me hugging me and I put my head on his shoulder.

"I don't want to lose you over this."

"You won't," he breathed.

Those words assured me that our friendship would survive somehow. If not like before at least there wouldn't be any weirdness between us anymore.

"Himari I'm your best friend," Blaire said barreling after Himari down the steps, and Beckett and I stood up.

"I know Blaire you are and I'll tell you everything just give me some time," Himari pleaded with her. "It isn't easy to talk about." Himari left us with those last words and walked into the kitchen and I turned to Blaire.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"I'm worried about Himi. She has been behaving strangely. She doesn't eat and then this morning after you left I saw her destroy a bouquet of flowers. I've never seen her act like this before."

I rubbed Blaire's back soothingly. "Just give her some space. She will tell you when she is ready."

Luca walked over to us. "Liz, there is someone you should meet," he said and took ahold of my hand.

He began pulling me to the kitchen. "Who is it?" I asked and he stopped in front of a blonde-haired guy that was mixing drinks in a red cup.

Oh no!

"This is Ross. The person responsible for your first drunken night out."

The infamous Ross.

"Hi," I greeted.

He smiled broadly at me. His smile was almost infectious. "So you're a fan of my mixtures?"

"She's not a fan," Luca laughed.

"I just want to say one thing to you," I said cutting Luca off and both men eyed me in anticipation. Ross almost looked frightened. "Thank you," I hugged a stranger but he had a big hand to play on how things worked out for me in the end.

"Ur- you welcome," he chuckled hugging me back. "I didn't get your name there though."

Luca grabbed onto my hand and tugged me back to him. "Elizabeth. My girlfriend."

"Oh uh, she's your girl. It's nice to meet you," Ross smiled again and I could tell he was drunk.

I saw Himari leaning against the kitchen counter drinking a glass of water as she stared out the window forlornly. She seemed deep in thought and Blaire was right something was wrong, but I knew better than to ask her when she wasn't ready to talk.

"Guys come on. It's almost midnight and we going to watch the ball drop," Blaire called.

The music got turned down significantly as everyone in the room huddled around the tv. All my friends stood beside me and all I felt at that moment was warmth in my heart looking at all of the people I loved.

A year ago I would have never expected my life to turn out this way.

"Five, four, three, two, one... Happy New Year!" Everyone shouted and then Callum and Beckett bust confetti.
Everyone moved around to hug each other and Luca bent slightly and gave me a small peck on the lips. "I love you," he told me over all the noise.

I never got tired of hearing him say those words. "I love you too." I kissed him again.

The day I left home and sat on that plane waiting for it to take off as I contemplated my future. I asked myself if that plane was going to take me to something better or something worse.

It took a while but I finally got my answer and it was something amazing.
