Chapter 4

Inside the VIP room that Yoongi had booked, the girls let out a soft giggle as they conversed with him. Quite a speaker he was and his flirty ways would always get him at least one girl to hook up with for the night.

Seokjin just rolled his eyes as he watched his friend flirt. He couldn't believe he was going to be stuck in this club for the entire night.

Yoongi never leaves the place without a girl by his side to keep him accompany for the night.

The problem was the aftermath. Seokjin would have to deal with all those poor girls who actually believed that the feelings were mutual. He wished that they would at least learnt the difference between love and lust.

Yoongi's phone rang, disturbing his 'conversation'. He looked at the caller and let out a groan.

"Sorry, ladies but I need to take the call."

The girls made disappointing noises which made Yoongi chuckle.

"Well, why don't you have fun with Mr. Handsome over there while I'm away?"

Seokjin gave him a 'don't you dare' look but Yoongi just ignored it. He walked out of the room and headed to the rooftop as the music was too loud inside.

Once Yoongi reached the top, he answered the call while leaning forward against the handrail.

[What took you so long to answer and where are you this late at night?!]

Yoongi rolled his eyes as his father's voice boomed from the other end of the line.

[I can be anywhere I want to be. I'm an adult already, 25 to be exact. Stop restricting my freedom.]

[I've already told you that there's a meeting tomorrow. Also, I was expecting you at home. Did you know Chaerin had prepared dinner for us? It's all gone to waste now.]

Just hearing the name pissed him off.

[As long as I'm there, isn't that fine? Don't worry. I'll be present at the meeting tomorrow. Are you happy now? Bye.]

Yoongi hung up before his father could even respond. He clicked his tongue and kept his phone away.

The phone rang again and he clicked his tongue and checked the caller. He rolled his eyes and picked it up. He held it a bit far from his ear.

The call started with a loud wailing of a lady and Yoongi was thankful he had taken safe measures before putting it back on his ear.

One of those nights when he would have to listen to those desperate cries of his exes. He smacked his forehead as he went through the torture.

[It was never love from the start. I never said I love you. You were just fooling yourself.]

He hung the phone up and kicked the rail as he was pissed off. Soon, his phone started ringing angrily again.

"God dammit! Keep quiet! Can't I just have some peace for the night?!"

Yoongi blinked his eyes and turned when he heard the voice. He spotted a lady around his age hugging an alcoholic bottle.

He raised his eyebrow.

"Excuse me?"

••••••••••••••••••<>••••••••••••••••••

Jungah chucked down the drink from the bottle and stood up with difficulty. She walked towards Yoongi and grabbed his collar. Yoongi could smell a strong alcohol stench coming out of her.

Yoongi was extremely disgusted when Jungah ended up puking on his clothes.

"What the-"

Jungah turned the side and continued vomiting while she still held onto his collar. Once she felt relived, she turned back to him. Yoongi looked at his clothes in disgust. Anger boiled inside him. He was already furious after the phone call and this incident just worsened it. He was about to cuss at the person but dropped the idea.

He was indeed taken aback by her beauty. She looked natural; not trying too hard on the makeup or the fashion. It was not that she was extremely gorgeous but she did look good and she was a lady. Yoongi would never swear at a woman.

Her eyes were droopy and she could barely stand up straight. Jungah gritted her teeth.

"I said shut your *beep* mouth. I'm trying to have some *beep* peace."

Yoongi's eyes widened when he heard curses coming out from those pretty lips.

"Wha-"

Jungah pulled his collar close which caused Yoongi to fall forward. Their faces were so close that their noses were touching but Jungah was not even a bit concerned. She was intoxicated and her brain was not working properly but she sure did had her strength.

"I said shush, honey. I'm trying to heal my broken heart. It's because of you pretty boys ruining our hearts that we ladies have to suffer. You've got any idea how much it hurts?"

"What are you talking about?"

Yoongi seriously had no idea what she was blabbering about. Sure he did disturb her peace because of his phone but that was it. He had never seen her or dated her before.

"Gosh! You idiot! How could you?!"

The alcohol had completely taken over Jungah. She had no idea what she was saying anymore as she was extremely drunk. Despite her slight already blurring out, she took the last sip of her drink and placed the bottle down while still holding onto Yoongi's collar.

Once her other hand was free, she grabbed the collar with both of her hands.

"Do you even know what you've done?! Am I a toy?! Is this funny to you?! I did my best! I'm sorry I couldn't give you my time. I'm sorry I couldn't be romantic. I'm sorry I couldn't be the perfect girlfriend you want me to be. But how could you..." Jungah's eyes started tearing up and she gripped onto the collar tightly. She leaned her head against Yoongi's chest as hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

Yoongi didn't know what to do. People started to stare at them as they thought a couple was fighting. Yoongi thanked that the rooftop was dark so his face wasn't clearly seen. But still he knew this would be spread across the social media by the next morning.

Yoongi looked down at the lady when he heard her sniffing.

"Why do I only get sad endings?"

He didn't know why but he felt bad for her. Maybe it was because he would relate to her. Back when his mother would often cry in her room while his father went out with other women. He promised to never grow up to be like his dad but he just ended up breaking the girls' hearts without any intention.

'It's in the blood,' they would say but he would argue, 'It was never love in the first place.'

And yet, he would still wonder if he was incapable of providing such affection.

"Chivalry doesn't exist!" Jungah shouted in agony.

"It does," Yoongi muttered.

Jungah hummed in question and looked up at Yoongi. Their gazes connected and none of them broke the contact.

"It exists and I'll prove it to you."

Jungah stared at Yoongi and bursted out laughing which caught Yoongi off guard. Jungah's lighthearted laughing was refreshing and her smile made her look like an angel underneath the moonlight. She did at least in Yoongi's eyes and he couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Alright," she chirped, "Prove it!"

"JEON JUNGAH!" Hoseok's voice boomed which caused everyone to turn to him in shock, except the said person.

Jungah giggled and waved at Hoseok.

"My bestie!" she slurred happily.

Hoseok mentally facepalmed himself as he went over to her. He grabbed her hands clutching onto Yoongi's collar and took them away.

"Gosh! You are totally drunk! I told you to stay at the counter. Why did you leave? Do you know how worried I was?"

Jungah covered her ears and pouted, "No nagging! Ears hurt!"

Hoseok held Jungah in his arms as she could barely stand up straight. She spread her arms out to him.

"Piggyback!" she cutely requested.

Hoseok let out a sigh and squatted down before her so that she could jump onto his back. Once she did, he carried her. The moment Jungah was on Hoseok's back, she felt safe. Her ears were feeling heavy and she ended up dozing off.

Hoseok turned to look at the person Jungah was talking to and he gasped.

"I-I-I'm so sorry! Omg did Jungah do that to you?" Hoseok stuttered as his eyes fell onto the vomit that were on Yoongi's clothes.

"It's fine," Yoongi scratched the back of his head, "Just take care of your friend."

Hoseok nodded, "Thank you for keeping her accompany," he paused and his eyes slightly darkened as he glanced at Yoongi. He muttered softly under his breath, "but you didn't do anything to her, right?"

"What?"

Yoongi didn't quite catch what Hoseok had said.

"Nothing," Hoseok grinned, "I'm really sorry about your clothes."

Yoongi thought Hoseok was angry just now but he believed it was just his imagination. He shrugged to assure the other that he was really fine.

Hoseok then headed off with Jungah back to her home.

Yoongi watched the two walk off.

"Jeon Jungah... I'll prove it to you, my author."
