Chapter 24
Seokjin grunted as he carried his drunk friend on his back. The blonde male let out a loud wail and he never felt this embarrassed before. Thankfully, there were barely any people out this late at night.
"What is your goddamn password?"
"Huh?" Yoongi asked and Seokjin turned to glare at him. He pouted as he tried to recall his password. With a huge grin, he shouted excitedly, "My mother's birthday!"
The barista keyed in and the door was unlocked. He pushed the door open with difficulty as he piggybacked the blonde inside.
"That old man still used his wife's birthday as the password," Seokjin mumbled and Yoongi punched his shoulder.
"What was that for?!" Seokjin shouted.
"I was the one who told him to not change it."
An 'oh' left past Seokjin's lips as he continued his journey up the stairs and to his friend's room. He placed the younger on the bed who sprawled his limbs out the moment his back touched the soft mattress.
"Do people not know that condoms exist?"
Seokjin turned to look at his friend in disbelief.
"Yoongi, get some rest. You are way too drunk."
Yoongi sat up on the bed.
"But like seriously. I can't believe that tall dude. Do you know how painful my knuckles felt when I punched his face?"
"Wait... you punched his face?"
"Yeah and it felt good."
Seokjin was in total shock. He had never seen his friend behaving this way and honestly, he felt like Yoongi needed some help up there.
"Yoongi, what is wrong with you? First, you started sweet talking, then you punched a dude in the face and now you have drunk so much at the bar that you couldn't even walk back home. Both of us know how high your alcohol tolerance is. Just why are you acting this way?"
"Because I feel horrible, hyung," he placed his palms on his head which was lowered. It was alcohol doing the most work in causing headache but his heartache was probably due to the fact that Jungah cried over another man.
"You know best how awful it feels to even know that the woman you love cry her heart out for another man but you couldn't do anything for her."
Seokjin gulped down and sighed, "I know but Yoongi... both of us know how long you've waited. We know how hard you've tried for the encounter. So, why are you remaining silent? It's just... not like you."
"That's because it's different. It's because I really love her, hyung."

Seokjin went down the stairs after the conversation with Yoongi. Yoongi told him that it was fine to leave and that it was unnecessary to accompany him. Seokjin was reluctant to leave him in this condition but it was quite uncomfortable to stay in the Min's residence.
He stopped at the foot of the stairs.
The woman he loved lived there.
His eyes were fixed on Chaerin who stood before him. She looked paler, thinner and her hair was shorter but she still managed to make his heart race.
He smiled, "How have you been, Ms. Chaerin? You cut your hair..."
The long beautiful hair was cut to a short bob. It looked good on her either way.
"Jin..."
"Oh sorry... is it Mrs. Min?"
"Not yet..."
The two turned their heads when they notice Min walking into the place. Min raised his eyebrow and Seokjin bowed to greet the other.
"Hello, Mr. Min."
"Oh, Seokjin. What brought you here?"
"I came to talk with Yoongi."
"I see. Thank you for taking care of him. It's late. Don't you want to sleepover?"
Seokjin shook his head and declined the offer politely. He excused himself to leave and glanced at Chaerin one last time. Their eyes met and her eyes told a story he didn't wish to know.
"I hope you have a lovely night," Seokjin bowed at them and left. He didn't want to do anything with her anymore. He had sealed his heart away and he didn't need a reminder of how he should be behaving. He's a grown man and he knew best that moving on was hard but pleasant in the upcoming future.

Taehyung gave her a lovely smile when she asked him the question he was expecting. He tapped on his chin to pretend to think and a tint of mischief played in his eyes.
"What are you talking about?"
Jungah wasn't in the mood to joke. With all the events that had happened, she didn't mean to be rude but she just couldn't handle the teasing well.
She pouted, "I want answers and you know what I meant."
Taehyung laughed softly and held his hands up protectively to gesture her that he did. He took out a small black casing and opened it. Inside it was a pile of tarot cards. There was enough space on the table for him to spread the cards on the table.
"Begin choosing the cards."
Just as instructed, Jungah selected three cards which were pulled to her side. Taehyung kept the rest of the cards and stacked them at the side. He started flipping the first card which showed the Reversed Tower.
Taehyung hummed and Jungah stared with curiosity.
"You seem to be avoiding certain issue. Maybe because you are afraid or something. However, it is best if you do not take action yet. Just leave the things as they are. Take your time before making decisions."
Jungah nodded her head and then waited for another card to be revealed. Taehyung reached for the other and turned it over. The card indicated a reversed Moon. Jungah gulped down when she kept seeing reversed cards.
"Don't worry," Taehyung assured her, "Just because it's reversed, it doesn't means it's bad."
Jungah nodded her head again and waited for him to explain.
Taehyung smiled and continued, "It's saying that you shouldn't be in a hurry to begin a relationship. It wants you to take your time just like the Tower card. It's currently not the right time to take action."
She noted his words and nervously waited for the last card. The card turned out to be the Empress which was also reversed. Jungah glanced at Taehyung and studied his expression. She wondered if it was a positive or negative outcome.
"This card wants to remind you to pay attention to your intuition. Trust your instincts and follow your heart. You won't regret your decision then."
"So, basically, you should free your mind and heart first before coming to a decision," Taehyung concluded.
"Oh... then-"
"Yes," he cut her off, "You will get your answers then. The answers you seek cannot be answered by anyone other than yourself."
"I see...but I've been confused about something."
Taehyung knew what she was trying to say. He collected the cards and shuffled the deck. He placed them on the table once again.
Jungah was about to pick a card when Taehyung stopped her.
"I want you to close your eyes first."
Jungah was confused but she did it anyways.
"Now, I want you to think of someone who makes you happy. That person makes you smile and you feel warm and comfortable when he's with you. I want you to think of the person who makes your heart flutter just by knowing that he's beside you."
Jungah took in a deep breath as she tried to think of the person. With her eyes closed and ears opened, the first person she thought of after hearing Taehyung was Min Yoongi. She couldn't tell why he popped up but her heart sure did race.
"Looks like you've found someone to think of."
Jungah opened her eyes and stared at Taehyung.
"Just choose one."
Jungah took in a deep breath and selected one card out of all the cards. Taehyung kept the rest and paid attention to the only one card left on the table. He held it and opened the card.
It was the Empress again but it was upright.
"Poor devil," he chuckled which caused Jungah to stare at him blankly.
"The person you thought of really thinks you are beautiful. He is drawn to you like no other. Out of all the flowers, he is only attracted to you. He didn't wish to take the nectar away because it might take away his reason to keep coming to you. He wants to take care of you, nurture you and try to gain your love . He's a good listener and he understands you. Maybe that is the reason why he wants you to have sweet dreams while he doesn't mind suffering from nightmares."
Jungah's eyes remained fixed on the Empress card. She was out of words. She looked up at Taehyung when the latter decided to speak.
"You know what to do, don't you?"

Yoongi couldn't sleep. He rolled on the bed while hugging the pillow as he tried to force himself to drift off to dreamland. However, thoughts were messy and his eyes were wide open. He wished alcohol could've caused him to be drowsy but it had an opposite effect all of a sudden.
He shouted in frustration and ruffled his hair as he sat up. During the midst, his phone rang and he reached to pick it up lazily.
He read the caller ID and his eyes widened. He hurriedly answered the call and waited for the other to respond.
[Were you sleeping? I'm sorry if I disturbed you.]
[No. No. No. I wasn't. Don't apologise. Even if I was sleeping, I'll be wide awake for you anytime, Jungah.]
He smiled when he heard her giggle. It warmed his heart just to hear her sounding better.
[Well, is there something you want?]
The other line went silent for a moment. It was as if she was hesitating to speak.
[Take your time-]
She cut him off and he couldn't help but feel delighted when he heard her words.
[Can I meet my wine tomorrow?]
His lips stretched up as high as they could and his eyes sparkled so brightly as if he had just won a lottery. Well, to him, Jungah is his most prized treasure.
[You know my answer. It's obviously a yes.]
