Yoongi was drowning in books and they are not just any genre. They were romance. The amount of novels surrounding were monstrous and everyone in the library would stare at the blonde hair popping out among the books.

Seokjin let out a sigh as he placed the coffee cups on the table.

"Why did you call me this early? You don't even stay in the library for more than a minute when you were doing your assignment."

The moment Yoongi looked up, Seokjin let out a yelp as if he had just seen a ghost and he wasn't at fault. Yoongi was way too pale and the eye bags underneath were way too dark. He looked like a zombie that was about to eat a person up.

Yoongi glanced at the paper cups and took his share. He gulped down the hot coffee within a split second. His brain couldn't even register the harsh sting that his tongue suffered from the heat. Soon, his eyes widened after the caffeine worked the magic.

"Thanks," he finally managed to say and Seokjin rolled his eyes as he took a seat in front of Yoongi's.

He took one of the book with judging eyes and flipped through the pages. He made a disapproving sound as he placed the book back on the top of the stack.

"And what have you been doing instead of working on your class project?"

"Well, that will only take me a few hours and it's not very important for my life," Yoongi replied without looking up from his book.

"Are you trying to say that reading these romantic stories are much more important than your GPA?"

Yoongi licked his lips and nodded his head which caused Seokjin to groan as he gave up on that delusional airhead.

"Anyways, have you found new books for me to read? I've almost finish all of the ones in this library and I plan to go to the bookstore around the corner," Yoongi informed as he picked up another book from the pile that he hadn't finish.

"How many days did you spend here again?"

Yoongi gave it a thought as he adjusted the frame of his glasses that laid on his nose bridge.

"A week?"

"You basically camped out here. Didn't the librarian kick you out?"

"Nope, I gave the lady my number and she passed me the keys for the week. The only downside was that she wouldn't stop texting me and kept on asking me out for a dinner."

Seokjin facepalmed himself mentally and shook his head.

"What was I expecting from you? And I actually thought you would've learnt a thing or two about love from the amount of books that you've been reading."

"This is different. That was not love. I was just simply doing business."

Seokjin let out a sigh of defeat and Yoongi continued reading the book in his hands.

It was about five in the evening when they finally decided to leave the library. Seokjin was simply too free and wanted kill to time while Yoongi was on a hunt for some new book that would spark his interest. Hence, Seokjin decided that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to follow his friend to the bookstore where he could get his hands on some recipe books.

The two soon reached the bookstore and Seokjin had to make another round just to park his car because he missed the lot. Yoongi had a huge pout on his face as he had to wait outside for Seokjin to run to him.

"Stop with that pout. I'm not your boyfriend or something. The parking lot was just too far from the bookstore and here, have some candy."

"That's just excuses but whatever," he still took the lollipop which was plopped into his mouth after Seokjin had unwrapped it for him.

Seokjin mumbled some incoherent words but Yoongi just ignored him. The two decided to go to the aisle which was dedicated to romance books.

The blonde scanned through the shelves, hoping to find new books. When he saw something he liked, he flipped the pages and dumped a few in his cart. The process went on until he reached the last shelf.

By the end, the cart was full and the only reason Yoongi would give was that all books are to be appreciated.

"You know what?" Seokjin spoke as he stared at the amount of books in the cart.

"What?" Yoongi repeated.

"You will still be a heartbreaking bastard even if you read those."

Yoongi kicked Seokjin in the shin which caused the older to crouch down and scream inwardly. With a huge smug, Yoongi went to queue up in line to pay for the books.

As he was doing so, he saw the new arrival books at the side. It suddenly intrigued him and went out of the line. He decided to queue again later since it was late and there were lesser people in the store.

He checked the books out and a certain one caught his eyes. He hummed as he wet his lips and read the description of the book. He then started turning the pages to go through some chapters and he realised that it was written beautifully.

Even from just reading a few paragraphs, he had his attention grasped completely. He could feel the emotions raised from the words being formed inside and the way it tingled his heart when he read it made him want to learn more about the author.

Seokjin had finally gotten a recipe book for himself and he spotted Yoongi. He stood beside the boy and glanced at the book that Yoongi was checking out.

"Jeon Jungah?" he read out the author's name and Yoongi turned to look at him with his eyebrow perked up.

"Do you know her?"

"Well, she's from the college that I had graduated from. I think she's in literature department or something. I heard it from my friends when they had a freshman orientation."

"Really?"

He went through the book one more time and with a smile forming on his lips, he added the book to the cart.

"I guess I'm going to have a favourite author then."
