"Niharika, I need to go to Pune." Prisha told Niharika.

"Are you out your mind ? You want to go to Pune in this condition ? You're in a condition where you can't even go to the living room." Niharika reminded her.

"I know but you know right, mom's and Dad's death anniversary is three days away." Prisha said.

"I know, Prisha. You can go there after you recover. You'll put yourself in danger if you travel in this condition."

"That's Okay, Niharika."

"It's not okay, Prisha. I'm not letting you go. Aunty and Uncle wouldn't have allowed you to travel if they were here. It's my desicion that you're not travelling." Niharika retorted.

"I hate you, Niharika."

"I hate you too, Prisha."

"Dude, please, let me go." Prisha said trying to convince Niharika.

"No, Prisha. I'm very sure about my desicion." Niharika said.

"Niharika."

"Answer this question. Do you really mean it when you say that I've filled up your mom's void ? Do you mean it when you say that me and Sidharth are the two most important people of your lives ?" Niharika asked.

"Ofcourse. I mean it. But what does that have to do with this ?"

"Then, I'm telling you that you can't go. Me and Sidharth will go there for this time. Let them see us for once." Niharika said.

"Fine. You both can go." Prisha agreed.

Three days later..

"Niharika, why are we here ?" Sidharth asked looking at the graveyard entrance.

"Prisha's mom and dad are buried here. It's their death anniversary. Prisha wanted to come here but I didn't agree." Niharika explained while walking in.

She led him to their tombs that were buried together.

She placed a candle and a bouquet of flowers on each of the tombs. Sidharth followed her.

She joined her hands infront of them to pray and so did Sidharth.

Aunty, Uncle, thanks for sending Prisha to my life. I've found a soul sister. I hope you both are happy wherever you are. Give us all the strength to face all the problems in life together. Niharika prayed.

"Aunty, Uncle, I really love Prisha with all my heart. If you were here, I would make a promise to you. I'm going to make the promise today. I'm not going to promise to you that I won't ever let Prisha cry. But I'd promise that every time she cries, I'll be there for her to wipe her tears away. I'll promise that I'll take care of her like you would and love her more than my life, forever. Bless us." Sidharth confessed.

"Aunty, Uncle, if you were here, you wouldn't ever get someone like him for Prisha. Destiny brought them together. They were meant to be together." Niharika said.

"Happy birthday, Prisha !" Everyone shouted bursting into her room.

Prisha looked at them in shock.

"Prisha, I know that you don't celebrate your birthday. I know it reminds you of your past. But, today, it's going to be a fresh start. Leave behind everything." Niharika said.

"It's not just a fresh start for you. It's a fresh start for all of us. Me and Kabir have decided to forget everything about our past." Alya said.

"And so have I, Prisha." Niharika said.

"Where's my cake and my gifts ?" Prisha asked making everyone smile.

"Here they come." Kabir and Abhinay screamed while Abhinay had a cake in his hands and Kabir, gifts.

Abhinay placed the cake infront of Prisha while Sidharth helped Prisha sit up. Niharika handed the knife to her.

Prisha looked at Sidharth motioning him to hold the knife as well.

"How cute !" Alya cooed.

Prisha looked down and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Looks who's blushing." Kabir teased.

"Shut up guys !" Prisha said noting her lower lip.

They sang the birthday song as Prisha cut the cake with Sidharth.

She took a peice of cake and looked at Sidharth and Niharika who were on each of her side. She looked at both of them.

Sidharth held her hand and extended it towards Niharika. Niharika took a bite of it after which she fed a peice of cake followed by Sidharth. Their celebration continued.

It's indeed a fresh start. I'm going to leave behind my past. Sidharth is my present and future. Niharika, Abhinay, Kabir and Alya are my family now. Prisha thought.

Anisha was my past. Prisha is my present and my future. Of course, I still love Anisha but I love Prisha more than her. Anisha was my first love and Prisha will be my last love. Sidharth thought looking at a smiling Prisha who was talking with Alya.

It's time to leave the past behind. My past can't judge who I am. My past is what I've gone through. My past has been rough only to show me the beautiful side of life. A fresh start. Kabir thought.

This is it. This is the life I've waited for. A beautiful life with a beautiful family. I need nothing more in my life. Alya thought.

Finally, everything is alright. Exams in three weeks, graduation in 6 weeks. Wedding in 8 weeks. Exactly how I expected my life to be. It's going to be a fresh start for me and Niharika and hope we'll have that 'Happily ever after' phrase in our fairytale. Abhinay thought.

I really don't know how I fell right now. Yes, it is a fresh start but I'm confused. Completely confused. Do I love Abhinay yet ? Do I deserve him ? He deserves much better. Can I ever keep him happy ? Niharika asked herself.
