Moving into the club, all of them pushed their thoughts away and tried to make the best of the time they had.

I can't let my past takeover my present. My fears may not ever be dumped, but I should atleast make the best of the time now. I can never be happy, atleast, I can keep other people happy. Niharika thought.

The party went on well and to the luck of Niharika, Abhinay and Kabir, and dismay of Alya, Prisha and Sid, they were all sane.

Abhinay and Kabir strongly believed that drinking is fine when it's in limit and when it has to go out of limit, it should only with your friends 'cause they didn't want to be taken advantage of. Niharika, because she never liked drinking. Occasionally, she did and ensured she was in control.

While the other three believed that you should enjoy to the fullest come what may. Kabir, Niharika and Abhinay did approve of that but at the same time, contradicted it because they felt there's lot more in life which can make your life more enjoyable.

Heading back home, they discussed about how much fun they had.

"How many days is your college research for, Abhinay ?" Asked Prisha.

"Two days, Prisha. I'm planning to stay here for longer and explore this place." Abhinay answered.

"You know Prisha, he loves exploring and road trips. He makes sure he goes on a road trip, let alone be a short one, atleast once in every three months." Alya said giving an extra peice of information about Abhinay.

"Oh my God ! So does Niharika. She goes away for a weekend camping every weekend. You won't even be able to see her or contact her every weekend. She never took me to any of them." Said Prisha.

"Prisha, you can shut up." Niharika said sternly.

"Now that we're here, can we go on a road trip ? A short weekend trip ?" Kabir asked interested.

"That's a pretty good idea Kabir. Abhinay and Niharika can get to know each other during that trip too." Sid said.

Abhinay and Niharika looked at each other.

"Umm yeah ! My research will be done by Friday." Abhinay said.

All of their focus shifted to Niharika and she smiled awkwardly and said "Yeah. We can go. I don't mind." She said as she parked the car and all of them cheered.

"This is going to be fun." Prisha said unlocking the house.

"It sure is going to be. Niharika, you're incharge of planning the whole trip Okay ?" Alya asked her.

Niharika nodded and said "Good night. I'll tell you the plan tomorrow morning."

They all wished each other a good night and headed to their rooms.

Next morning..

Abhinay was sitting on the stairs on the terrace thinking about Niharika.

She's completely changed. She never liked travelling and today she loves road trips. She was an open book and today, I'm not able to understand her at all. Why did she leave us all ten years ago ? Why didn't she call us back even once ?

He came out of his thoughts when he felt someone tapping his shoulder. He turned back and saw Niharika.

"Good morning." She said extending a coffee mug.

"Good morning." He said taking the coffee mug.

She sat down beside him.

"What's your plan tonight ?" He asked her.

"Nothing."

"Dinner ?" He asked her.

"Are you asking me out ?" She asked looking at him.

"You can say so." He said shrugging his shoulders while taking a sip of his coffee.

"Yeah. Let's go out for dinner." She replied.

They smiled at each other and after a little chat, they headed back down and woke everyone up.

"So, guys, here's the plan for the road trip. There's this chain of places where I went a few months ago. It was a really beautiful trip and one of my favorites. It'd take us approximately 4 hours to reach there and added to it, is the chain of places on the way, so you can say around 7 hours. If we start in the morning, we'll be there by the evening. Breakfast and lunch, we can find on the way but dinner, we need to cook as where we're going to stay for the night, is an isolated place. The next day, there's this beautiful waterfall there, we'll spend the morning there and start in the afternoon and be back by the night." Niharika explained.

"How are we going to reach there ? By your car ?" Kabir asked.

"Uh. No. By bike." Niharika answered.

"Bike ?" Everyone exclaimed.

"Umm Yup. Bikes. Car will just spoil the fun. Bike let's you enjoy every breath of it." She replied.

"Where are we going to get bikes from now ?" Sid asked looking at everyone.

"Niharika has three in her garage, luckily." Prisha announced.

"Three ?" Asked Alya surprised.

"Yup. She brought one of them with her first salary when she worked at Infosys. The other two, I gifted her for her birthday. She loves bikes." Prisha said.

"You ride a bike ?" Kabir asked and Niharika nodded.

"Bikes it is then. When shall we start in the morning ?" Abhinay asked.

"Around 7, to avoid Mumbai traffic." Niharika suggested and everyone nodded.

They all then dispersed to their rooms to get dressed up.

Sid, Alya and Kabir were jobless and Abhinay had to go for his research while Prisha and Niharika headed to IMS.

"Guys, I'm off to meet my friend. See you in the evening." Sid said leaving the house.

Kabir and Alya were busy chatting when Alya recieved a call.

"I see, you're in Mumbai." She heard a voice say.

The phone dropped from her trembling hand. Kabir picked it up and heard "I haven't forgotten anything."

"Please, for god's sake, just stop torturing us. Don't call us back. We have forgotten everything. Don't remind us about it." Kabir warned.

"We'll see. Meet us before you go."

"Sorry, we can't. We're busy." He said before cutting the call.

Kabir looked at a vulnerable Alya. He pulled her into a hug.

"Face it Alya. It's fine. We're going to be fine. We're anyway not here over the weekend and then, by Tuesday we're going back to Bangalore. Calm down. I love you."

"I love you too Kabir." She said hugging him back.

Everyone was back home by the evening and they were all sitting together in the living room and talking about the weekend trip.

"Guys ! Niharika and I are going to dinner tonight." Abhinay announced.

"Dinner date huh ?" Sid asked teasingly.

"Sid, shut up !" Abhinay said glaring at him.

"Come, let's get you dressed up." Alya said pulling Niharika into the room. Prisha followed them.

"So what did you plan for her ?" Kabir asked Abhinay.

"Nothing. It's just a casual dinner." Answered Abhinay.

"But dude, you're taking a girl to a dinner, for the first time. You should do something " Suggested Sid.

"Sid, we're just going there as friends. See, nothing's confirmed yet. So don't get your hopes high. I don't want to make it awkward." Replied Abhinay.

After around an hour, Niharika came out dressed up and so did Abhinay. They both left for the dinner.

Niharika was dressed in a aqua blue haltered neck maxi paired with aqua blue studs and a gold bracelet. She completed her outfit with nudes​. Her hair was tied back into a loose bun.

Abhinay wore a blue denim shirt and a pair of jeans pairing them with white shoes.

Abhinay broke the silence between them. "Umm.. you look pretty."

"Thanks. You look good too." She complimented him.

"Thanks."

They both reached the restraunt. It was a beach side restraunt. Taking their places, Abhinay asked Niharika "What are your plans after IMS ?"

"Starburst Ventures. A common thing we have. I mean, all the hardwork we're doing is for that right ?" She answered.

He nodded and said "Yup. All the hardwork for Starburst Ventures."

The night continued and they talked about their likes and dislikes. After dinner, they took a walk by the shore and then went home.

"So how was your dinner ?" Prisha asked them as they entered the house.

"It was good." Answered Niharika.

"What's tomorrow's plan ?" Asked Kabir.

"Tomorrow is the last day of my research, so I'll be busy." Abhinay informed them.

"Well, then the rest of us can go shopping. You know, for the camping stuff. We don't have any for all of us." Niharika said.

"Yeah. I think that's a good idea. We'll go shopping" Confirmed Sid.

The next day, Abhinay went for his research and the rest to shopping. The day went well and everyone hit the beds early as they had to wake up early for their awaited road trip.
