Souls

Just after a person dies, before they turn into their form of soul, they do not materialize for a few days, just existing as energy in the environment before they take form, first in a transition state for a moment as they gain consciousness, then obtaining a soul, able to interact.

The soul, depending on being pure or impure, is collecting by either an angel or a demon.

Angel uses their halo, placing theirs over the head of the soul to send them off and up to the gate in Heaven, where the Gatekeeper checks them in. Similarly, demon sends the impure soul to the gate in Hell, whereas they use their horns -- easily detachable as a broken form to stab the impure soul.

"Thank you," said Taehyung, bowing to the resident as he accepted the newspaper, turning around to leave when the door closed.

"And, we're done. We printed two-thousand copies, and got two-thousand back" Jungkook noted as Taehyung tossed the newspaper into the big cart of the same newspapers.

Hoseok let out a loud sigh, sounding tired. "All we wanted was to make Jimin's wish come true, but it ended up starting a big stir up and rebellions."

Frowning, Taehyung pushed the cart along as the three walked off. "Yeah. We didn't really think through about how people will react, so that's a fault on our side, I guess."

"You're right. But..." Jungkook started, trailing off as he got on top of the cart, sitting on it. "Why are we still dragging this cart around? Wouldn't it be easier if the three of us just hold on to it and fly?"

"No, everything might fall if only one of us lose our grip, no way," Hoseok said, rejecting the idea, causing a frown on Jungkook's face.

"Alright, fine. Then, I'll sit here the whole way. You two have to push the cart with me on it," he said, letting out a mischevious grin before he got comfortable.

"Ahh," Taehyung complained, giving Jungkook a look. "Why did I marry you?"

Leaning his head back to look at Taehyung, who was the only one pushing the cart -- Hoseok behind the two. He stuck his tongue out playfully, "Because you love me."

"Alright, so is it okay if I leave you two for this, and head off for my break--" Hoseok tried to escape smoothly, but Taehyung caught him still from the shoulder.

"Nope, if you don't help me now, I'll get on it, too, and you'll have to take both of us."

The threat worked. "Okay, alright, I'll help. But, Jungkook, you have to get off soon, okay?"

Jungkook nodded with a grin, looking at the clear Afterlife sky, a place where clouds were a rare sight unless the Rain ability or Lightning ability was used

"No, I won't~"
