── games

"𝕳ey." Aurora called out to the dark haired son of Hermes, who was sitting alone by the lake, fiddling with something. Luke paused, before spinning to look up at her, grinning automatically.

"Hi Aurora." She sat down next to him, cocking an eyebrow as he produced a notebook from seemingly nowhere, holding it out for her.

"What's this?"

"The games, as promised." Luke twisted fully to look at her, as Aurora opened it up. He was a little nervous, but not just because it was Aurora who seemed to have a thing for breaking down his ego, but also because this was her job. She was a famous singer and if she posted this and the games weren't up to scratch then that was on him. They had to be perfect for her, so that her fans were happy and then, Luke could relax. "You can try them if you want, just use a pencil."

"I don-" She cut herself off, seeing that Luke was holding one out to her. "Thanks Luke."

He blushed, muttering a 'don't mention it' before watching as Aurora began to flick through the games, completing them quickly and making a note of what each one's word spelled. Luke had to admit, she was quick at what she did, writing down the answer on the final page, before translating it from it's code.

"New Album, October 15th." Aurora read aloud, waiting for Luke's confirmation that she was correct. He nodded his head, grinning along with her as Aurora handed him back the notebook. "I love it."

"You do?"

"Yeah." Aurora nodded. "Why? What were you expecting me to say?"

"Something about treating you normally, where's the speech or a vague insult." Luke pointed out, relief hitting him quickly.

"No, no, I really love it, Luke. Thank you so much." Aurora grinned again.

"So, are you going to use them?" He cocked an eyebrow as Aurora went a little quieter. "Come on, Aurora, if you like it, then use them. It's your work. It's your career. If you like them, use them."

"It's not that easy, Luke." Aurora sighed, groaning into her hands. "My mom controls my career because I'm still a minor."

"Better to ask forgiveness than permission." Luke countered. "What's she going to do once they're up? Also, if people love them, then it's all good. Surely, she'd be happy with a positive reaction."

"Yeah, she might, but Luke, she's asked me to do something else." Aurora pointed out. "Look, my mom-"

"Aurora, if you like it, do it." Luke stopped her. "Show Aruna, or Lee, or any one of your siblings and if they enjoy it, then do it. You've got to admit, you had fun."

"Yeah, of course I did, Luke." Aurora stopped, trailing off for a moment, before standing up. "Can I take it to go and show Aruna?"

"Of course." Luke nodded as he stood up. "Let me know what you do, yeah?"

"I will. I would have to put your name on it for copyright purposes, anyway, if I did it."

"Okay." Luke nodded, as Aurora turned. He grinned to himself, looking down as he thought of anything else that he could do to convince her.

"Oh, Luke." He looked up as Aurora came jogging back over, before she stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for doing it all so quickly."

Luke went bright red, freezing as Aurora's perfume swept over him, before she disappeared and he was left standing in one place. He couldn't move, touching his cheek as he looked at where she had disappeared to, still bright red, before a grin broke out across his face and he laughed to himself.

Progress, that was progress.

"So, what do you think?" Aurora hovered over Aruna and her siblings, who were all doing the puzzles and completing them. She gnawed on her fingernail, waiting for one of them to say something to her, and confirm that they either enjoyed it or hated it.

"Give us a second, Rory. We're finishing it." Lee called, all of them huddling back up as they discussed it, writing down notes and letters, before cheering as they all finished it, like it was some big, team bonding exercise. "Alright!"

"New Album, October 16th?" Aurora nodded in confirmation as they cheered again, before patting her on the shoulders, telling that it looked great and congratulating her on the album.

"I don't get why you wanted us to look at that, Rory." Aruna handed her back the notebook, as Aurora held onto it tightly. "It looks great, the games are fun and Luke really pulled through."

"Yeah, I-"

"They're a really cool way to introduce the album."

"You think so?"

"Yes." Aruna squeezed her shoulder, before nudging her. "So, when are you posting them?"

"I don't know." Aurora sighed. "My mom doesn't really like the whole idea of games to announce the album, so I still don't know whether I should or not."

"It's your career. Do what you want."

"Doesn't quite work like that." Aurora sighed.

"I say do it. Everyone loved them, and you obviously like it, so do them." Aurora nodded her head, tightening her grip on the notebook, before sighing. "What? You're not going to do them?"

"No, I just need to get Luke to sign a copyright agreement."

"Ooh, fun." Aruna laughed as Aurora grabbed her laptop, heading to Cabin Eleven. "Tell lover boy we said hi."

Aurora blushed, hurrying out to go and find Luke.

He was in Eleven, drying his hair and chatting with Mack and Chris, all three laughing hysterically about something.

"Hi boys."

"Aurora..." Luke turned with a grin, before groaning as he was pushed backwards and away from her.

"Aurora!" Chris and Mack bounded over. "Where have you been?"

"Do you not love us anymore?"

"We missed you."

"You should come and visit us more often."

"That's why you're here, right? To see us?"

"Too many words, far too quickly." Aurora patted both boys on the shoulder, "and sorry, I'm here to see Luke."

"Why'd you want to see him?" Mack and Chris looked Luke up and down. "We're much better."

"Let's agree to disagree." Luke huffed, standing back up from where he'd been pushed on the floor. "Go away. She wants to talk to me."

Chris and Mack both turned their dark glares on Luke, muttering between themselves as they walked off and back to their bunks.

"What can I do for you, Sunshine?"

"Need you to sign copyright form."

"You're posting them?" Luke's eyes went wide. "Really?"

"Yeah, Aruna and Lee and the others loved it, said I should and you know, you said I should and that it's better to say sorry than to ask her if I can do it." Aurora rambled, as Luke's face lit up into a grin.

"Well done." He nudged her softly, as Aurora shot him a small smile. "Where'd you need me to sign?"

"It's that easy to get you to sign things?" She cocked an eyebrow. "If I'd have known, I'd have taken advantage of that."

"Ha ha." He mocked her, as she opened her laptop and showed him the document that he'd need to sign. He obliged, typing his name out as Aurora began to format all the puzzles on the page, showing him how they would look.

Luke would nod every so often, making little changes to her layout on her website and the writing that accompanied them for her. Aurora nodded, wondering why the man was sitting so close to her.

His curls had dried by the time they were finished, and Aurora put the finishing touches to it, adding Luke and hers name as copyright at the bottom, before sending it off to her manager for approval and submission. It would be up in five minutes, that's what her manager sent her back.

"Alright. All good?" Luke stretched as Aurora nodded, creating her post to show her followers what had been done. "What's this?"

"My post to tell me people where to go and stuff." Aurora explained. She had a photo of her from the studio that her dad had taken, a photo from her last concert, a photo of the lake around Camp Half-Blood, and then a photo of all the notes and the puzzle plans. She started writing out her caption as Kelly messaged her back and told her it was live. "Alright, it's up."

"It's up?"

"It's up." Aurora confirmed, typing out the final caption. "What do you think?"

"Read it out." Luke listened in as Aurora began to read her caption.

"Hi everyone, I have a little surprise and a bit of a challenge for you guys. If you head over to my website, there are puzzles live right now that might give you guys a cause for excitement. Thank you to my puzzle master, and my friends for testing this all out, and I hope you all enjoy it! I'll see you soon." She finished with her name and a few kisses, as Luke nodded his head.

"Your puzzle master? I like it." Luke grinned as Aurora pushed his head away from her gently, hitting post on her phone. Almost immediately, people began to like and comment as Aurora shut everything off. Now, she just had to hide from her mom's texts for a few days, and then she was all good.

"Thank you, Luke." Aurora ignored him, pushing her stuff into her bag. "I'll see you two in a few days."

"Bye Aurora!" Chris and Mack shouted, much to the chagrin of their other cabin mates.

"See you, Sunshine." Luke followed her out to the door, grinning gently. "Let me know how it goes."

"I will."

"And-" He caught her hand before she could walk off, his face turning serious. "If you want to speak to anyone about the whole, parent issue, you know you can come and talk to me, right?"

"Thanks Luke. You're a good friend." Aurora grinned, walking off as Luke paused and turned back to Chris and Mack, who were both wide eyes.

"Did I just get friend zoned?" He muttered as they both nodded. Luke groaned, having given up pretending in front of Chris and Mack that he didn't fancy the girl. "Kill me now."

"Bit dramatic Luke."

"Sure she didn't mean it."

Aurora got into Apollo cabin before she realised what she said.

"Oh shit." She muttered, pulling a face.

"What did you do?" Aruna questioned, looking up from her book.

"I told Luke he was a good friend." Aurora sat down by her sister as Aruna sighed and groaned.

"Gods above, Aurora." Aruna sighed. Her little sister slumped face first down by Aruna's side as the woman patted her sister's head. "You're an idiot. You've just friendzoned the dude."

"I don't even know if I like him."

"Well, no matter, cause you've just told him you don't like him by friendzoning him."

"That's not what I meant to say." Aurora sighed. "Aruna, why did I say that?"

"I have no clue." The older girl sighed. "Well, nothing you can do now. Might have to fix that in the morning?"

"But I don't know if I do like him so if I say, Luke, you're not my friend, he's just going to take that even worse."

"Then say, Luke, I don't know whether or not I like you more and sorry for friend zoning you, that wasn't my intention?" Aruna suggested as Aurora groaned. "Go to bed, Aurora."

"I hate myself."

"No you don't. Stop being dramatic." Aruna watched her little sister face plant on her own bed, before sharing a look with Lee, both hiding grins.

Hiya,

Count of Aurora to friendzone Luke straight after giving him hope by kissing his cheek. She's not doing well at the moment. Anyway, they're all just super sweet and I love them, and Chris and Mack are back as well. Also, what do you guys think of the new PJO show? How you been finding it, just out of curiosity?

Let me know what you think,

Love Li xx
