Dorms

  He had noticed.

And the big softie voiced as much one evening when Izuku returned.

"Good evening Midoriya. Nice weather for a last minute jog." He said, putting on his 'stern teacher' face.

Izuku stumbled, stuttering to himself for a few seconds, before collecting his thoughts and responding.

"Y-yes sir, it is.." he shakily replied.

Aizawa looked out of the window, specifically at the sunset in the distance.

"Any nice scenery? The sun must have made quite the view from her window." He said.

"Y-" Izuku began to reply, but caught himself upon hearing the tail end of the question.

At this point, most of the students in the common room had noticed Izuku stood like a deer caught in headlights, staring at their teacher.

"I.. don't know what you mean?" Izuku asked.

Aizawa struggled to maintain his stern face.

"Really? That's strange. I could have sworn that Mr Tsukasa told me you had been there every night for the past month and a half." He mused.

Izuku audibly gulped, still frozen in his half-walking position.

The Bakusquad were giggling to themselves, enjoying watching the spectacle.

Aizawa's expression slipped, and he gave in once Izuku saw the split second of mirth.

"It's fine going to see her, it is within curfew, just try not to cut it so close, and tell me where you're going. If something happened, I wouldn't have any idea where you were." He said seriously.

Izuku nodded feverishly, glad his teacher wasn't actually angry.

"On a side note, I'm impressed with your sneakiness. I'll need to up my game if I want to catch you doing anything in the future." Aizawa patted his shoulder as he passed Izuku, walking out the door.

"I kinda suspected where you'd gone, but I just wanted to be sure." Aizawa said, closing the door behind himself.

  Kaminari stared in awe.

"Dude! He was steaming hot mad, and then he was.. laughing?? How'd you get away with.. whatever you did?"

Izuku shook his head, shrugging his shoulders.

"I honestly have no idea Kaminari, I thought I was busted for sure." He said.

The next day in class, Izuku stared at the clock as it slowly drew towards Eleven Thirty.

  Aizawa sighed.

"It's only 11:15 Midoriya, but you can go for today. Make sure you're back by 3."

Izuku shot out of his chair, packing away his pens and pencils, swinging his bag over his shoulder and leaving the classroom. This had become a normal occurrence within the class, but they still didn't know why. It was apparently 'confidential'.

Izuku left the school and headed for the nearby train station. He was able to catch the 11:15 train, which had been running a little late due to a villain attack.

It took approximately 6 minutes and 28 seconds for the train to pull up near the hospital.

He walked into the hospital, showing the receptionist his visitor's pass, and headed upstairs to Eri's room.

He knocked on the door, and entered a whole 20 minutes early.

"Izuku!! You're early today!" Eri cheered, jumping up and hugging him.

"I am, Aizawa let me out early today! So, what do you want to have for lunch? I don't think you have any checkups today either. So anything is on the menu today!" He said.

Eri hummed and hawed, trying to think of a suitable celebration food. Izuku was early and there were no checkups?? Today was already amazing.

"How about... Katsudon!" She said triumphantly, knowing full well what Izuku's favourite food was.

Izuku cheered alongside the girl, dancing around the room.

A few hours later, and Izuku was preparing to leave.

"See you tomorrow Izuku.." Eri said.

  Izuku nodded.

  "See you Eri!"

He opened the door, and almost walked into Aizawa.

"M- Mr Aizawa?? Sorry!" He stuttered.

"It's alright Midoriya. Yes, I'm here. Are you ready to go?" He asked.

  "Yes..?" Izuku asked suspiciously.

Aizawa leaned around Izuku to look at Eri.

"Doesn't look like it. Are you ready to go Eri?" He asked.

  Both children froze.

"Does that mean she.. I mean, sir.. are.. have.." Izuku spluttered.

  Aizawa smirked a little.

"Oh, didn't I tell you? Eri gets out of the hospital today. Surprise."

He was able to plug his ears, and all he could see was the two children dancing around the room, supposedly cheering.
