Kayda's POV
"Kayda!" Reiji calls from the bottom of the long staircase. As I walk into the lounge room I am not at all happy with what I see, a pale girl with shoulder-length blonde hair and bright red eyes. 

"What is that doing here?" I asked my brothers, with a cold tone in my voice, emphasizing the 'that' as I spoke. Anyone with half decent eyesight could clearly see that the blonde is completely terrified as she cowers under my icy gaze. "Well... who are you?"
"Ummm... w-well... my n-name is Y-Yui Komori," The trembling girl explains quickly.
"And is anyone going to fill me in on what it's here for?" I ask getting more annoyed by the second.
"She is to be the next sacrificial bride."Reiji calmly explains as he can tell that things are going to escalate quickly if he doesn't.
"Another one of them?!" I'm outraged by what I just came from my brother's mouth. "when is this going to end I'm getting tired of killing them."

"W-what?!" Yui screeched by now horrified by my comment.

"oh... did you not inform ms. Yui here about my being such an amazing artist?" I ask Reiji with a sadistic grin.

Much to my dismay Shu cuts in and replies with "you can't murder this one Kay. Fathers orders."

"Oh come on... whhhyyyyyyy." I complain but really I don't care all that much as long as the little brat stays out of my way. 'I think I'll voice that opinion'. "I won't touch it as long as it stays out of my way." As the words leave my mouth I see Yui attempting to put on a poker face but failing so miserably I almost feel sorry for her... I said almost.

"Kayda." Reiji, as always unpleased with my words, decides to say just my name whilst giving me 'the stern face'. Really it's more of a 'dad face' if you ask me but oh well.

"Reiji," just like every other time I look my big brother in the eyes as if I'm bored and speak his name mimicking the voice Reiji used to try and put me in my place. "I'm starting to think you need hearing aids as well as glasses cause I obviously just said that if she stays out of my way I won't touch her," the insult wasn't really necessary but why not? 

Yui looks stunned by the fact that I can talk back to my brother, especially when he's almost a foot taller than me. On the other hand, the boys all look bored with this because of how normal it is for us, except for Reiji who looks annoyed that I said he needed hearing aids but it's nothing new. 

"I'll be going now," I said in an almost monotone voice whilst turning to leave back to my own room.
