He wakes up with a bad feeling.

He can't explain it, but he just KNOWS something bad is gonna happen. He hopes he's wrong, though. U.A. is the safest place that he or anyone could be. It'll be fine. He goes downstairs to the common room, and sees everyone going about their normal lives, except for Ida, Uraraka, 

and Todoroki.

They're speaking to Aizawa and Kirishima, but either he's too far away, or they're just talking really quietly. He walks over and sits down next to Kirishima. "Morning." He says, and gives Bakugo a muffin. "Hey." He accepts it gratefully. On the couch opposite to them, Deku is still asleep, but the corner of his mouth is curved into a frown. "Bakugo," Todoroki asks suddenly. "Do you know him?" He nods at Deku. "Do YOU?" He shoots back. "I recognize him. He looks like that kid who went missing over a year ago. The one NOBODY could find. And then he randomly appears with you two, and you're hurt. Kinda gives the impression he might know you." 

The hell?

He KNEW about it?

"What are you, a detective?" He replies. "I pay attention to things. And I SAW you four come in last night. Todoroki explains. Bakugo frowns a bit. "Yeah, he attacked us, but we don't know him. Not very well, anyway."

Good save, Kirishima.

"I see." Todoroki nods, and they continue speaking, however they change the subject. After a while, everyone except their group leaves, including Aizawa, who said he was going to talk with the other pros and teachers about Deku. 

And that's when he wakes up.

He stays pale-looking, and when  he opens his eyes, they don't GLOW like the other guy's. More like a flicker or a dimmer glow. "Well, good morning." Kirishima says warmly. Bakugo had filled him in on the interaction he had while Kirishima had gone to get Aizawa, so he knows this isn't the other one. "Where am I..?" Deku asks, looking around. He gets a bit more nervous when he spots the others. "Don't worry about them. You're at U.A., and they're also in my class." Bakugo answers, moving so Deku can see him. "I am?" He nods, and crouches so he can see his better. "How are you feeling?" "I think I'm okay." He looks at his torn gloved hands, stretching them a bit. "My scars hurt a bit, but they do that every now and then." His eyes waver over Todoroki, Ida, and Uraraka, as if wary of them still. "While I was asleep, did I..?" Bakugo shakes his head. "No. nothing happened." he assures him. A look of relief flickers over his face. 

Then Todoroki walks up to him. 

Deku looks at him, confused and cautious, and Todoroki's intense, inexpressive face doesn't really help, either. "Now that you're awake, I have some questions for you." He begins. Deku tilts his head. "Umm..like what?" "Like why you attacked Bakugo and Kirishima." 

Shoto doesn't mess around when he wants something done. 

Or much, really.

That might be a bad thing now, though.

"He doesn't have to tell you that. You weren't there." Bakugo says. "Then you tell me me." He shakes his head. "I ain't tellin' you either." He replies stubbornly. "Hm." Todoroki frowns. "HOW about.." Kirishima interjects. "..we do some introductions first?" Uraraka nods excitedly. "Great idea!" She agrees. "Oh, I'm Ochako Uraraka, by the way." She adds. "My name is Tenya Ida." Ida tells Deku. "And I'm Shoto Todoroki." Shoto sighs, letting his head fall for a second. Deku smiles, in that innocent way that Bakugo's convinced only he can. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Izuku Midoriya." For now, that seems to give Todoroki what he wants.

He's gonna have to tell him at some point. Damn half 'n' Half would just find a way to find out the story himself. 

They continue on speaking, until a point comes up when Kirishima, Todoroki, and Bakugo aren't in the conversation. Bakugo grabs Shoto's arm, and as if he knows (probably from seeing him kidnap Kaminari), he stands up, and follows him. Kirishima as well. "You wanna know why he attacked us?" Bakugo says quietly. Todoroki nods. "He IS the boy that went missing. I thought he was DEAD. Turns out the damn League had him. They made him one of those THINGS." Bakugo hisses. "A Nomu?" Kirishima waves his hand. "Sorta. He's still human, and there's like this OTHER him. And it's taken over his body, so Midoriya himself doesn't have much control. And we don't think the other guy even knows he's there." Kirishima elaborates. "HE'S the guy who attacked us. Not Midoriya." "I see. So, why bring him HERE?" Todoroki asks. "To keep him away from the League. And if we gave him to the police, they'd just make him a villain. Or the other guy'd kill them. And Deku isn't a villain-this NoKu is." Bakugo answers. "NoKu?" Kirishima echoes. "Nomu Deku. We needed a name for the other guy so bam, we have one, you're welcome, can we focus on the more urgent matter now?" He explains quickly. "It works. I like it." Kirishima grins for a second, before his face gets all serious. "Anyway, now you know the basics of it. Now, we gotta figure out how to get this NoKu guy to go away." He pauses for a moment, as if considering something before continuing on. "I might have an idea. But it's two levels above impossible." Bakugo gives him a fierce look. "Tell us." Kirishima looks over at the couch where Deku, Ida, and Uraraka are sitting together. they seem to be getting along very well. "You know how Midoriya said NoKu appeared after he got a certain amount of Quirks? And that All for One guy can take AWAY and hold Quirks? So what if we got him to take away the Quirks he has? Would that make NoKu go away too?" 

That's actually a good point. 

But he's right-it's impossible for SO MANY REASONS.

Top of the list being that Deku or anyone involved could freaking DIE.

Besides, that's ALL FOR ONE he's talking about. The guy that BARELY lost to All Might, causing him to lose the ability to use his Quirk to be a hero. And walked away from it. 

That's the top dog of all top dogs of the villain list.

They would have NO leverage over him. Not with NoKu. It would just be the other way around.

"Yes. But no." Bakugo clenches his fists and sighs. "It's complicated. We can't exactly go and LOOK for the League-we don't even know where they are to begin with. Not even any hints or leads or clues. It'd take WEEKS, maybe even MONTHS to track them down. And ontop of all that, we have SCHOOL. The teachers won't just let us MISS that much, let alone do it at all. So we have NO way to find them." He growls under his breath in frustration. "Yeah, but HE might." Todoroki nods at Deku. Bakugo scowls at him. "NO. We're NOT bringing out NoKu-did you miss the part where he tried to kill us? Or me, specifically, but STILL. We can't just BRING HIM BACK. And who says it'd work anyway? We could release something that we can't stop and then find out that he ISN'T linked to the Quirks, and then it'd be for NOTHING." He argues. Not to mention what it'd do to Deku himself. "If you wanna get more information, why not ASK Midoriya himself?" Shoto shoots back calmly.

Aaaaaargh, he's RIGHT, though..

He SHOULD get more details from Deku. And he COULD do a test with Aizawa sensei, but he doesn't know if it would help or not. He COULD ask Deku to draw out NoKu, then get Aizawa to use his Quirk and see if that gets rid of him, but he doesn't want anything bad to happen to Deku.

"Bakugo.." Kirishima snaps him out of his head, and then jerks his head towards the other three. Ida and Uraraka seem confused and worried, like something's wrong. 

Could mean only two things.

"Let's go. Half 'n' Half, get ready to use your ice on Deku." He orders.

When he rejoins the others, his heart accurately drops. 

NoKu is back.
