The next day,they walked on again.

The forest seemed like it could go on forever and ever and ever for Nobody.

"We crossed this chameleon three times Curex!!We're lost!"Nobody yelled as the light green chameleon scurried away.

"Urgh fine we're lost geez......"Curex threw his arms up into the air.

"Just great.....stuck in the middle of the woods....."Nobody muttered as Rose bolted back from her hunt with a squirrel and rabbit in her jaws.

After a brunch of rabbit,squirrel and walnuts,they set forth again,hoping to not come across any trials.

"Heyo!"A voice suddenly burst out from a bush.

"YARGH!!"Curex cried as he backed away from the talking bush as Rose barked angrily at it.

"Curex!I found you!"The bush cheered and rustled.

"Wow Curex you didn't tell me you were friends with a talking bush."Nobody retorted.

"That's because I'm not."

"Aw,c'mon buddy!Surely you don't remember me from the lab?"Someone jumped out of the bush.

So it wasn't a talking bush.

Ah.

"It's me!Paris!"The girl waved.

She had long sandy blonde hair and large glasses that covered her eyes completely.

She also had two light ginger ears poking out from the top of her head.

Not weird at all.

She wore camouflage leggings and a simple blue shirt.

"Oh my god!Paris!"Curex yelped as he embraced the Paris in a tight hug.

"How did you escape?"He asked.

"Well,after you escaped I began planning a way out but that didn't work so well so I just dug my way out from my cell!"She chirped cheerfully.

"Nobody,this was my cell mate,Paris.Paris,Nobody."Curex introduced as Paris gave a a friendly wave.

Then she noticed Rose.

"AHHHHH!!"She hissed and jumped onto Curex."I HATE THE CANINE FAMILY!"She snarled at Rose as Rose snapped at her feet.

"Down Rose!"Nobody commanded as Rose have one massive leap and jumped into her backpack,sending one last death glare at Paris.

"Umm,hi?Wait,how did you get past the trials so quickly?"Nobody questioned.

"Easy.I went around the trials.There's an abandoned zip line a couple minutes walk on the right side of the river.I just zip lined across it."Paris grinned,her cat teeth glinting in the light as she clapped her back.

"Ok?Paris wanna accompany us on our adventure to the Land of Good?"Curex looked up hopefully at her.

"Sure!........But just keep...Rose away from me."She said as Nobody nodded her head.

And then they continued.

It wasn't long before they met another trial.

All of a sudden,four large bricks walls shot up from the ground and trapped them in a roofless cube.

"What on earth?Another trial!?"Nobody yelled as she pounded on the walls.

"Well I can just float out."Curex said,standing at the top of the cube,looking down at them.

"Wait a minute......THIS IS QUICKSAND!!"Paris yelled as she sunk into the ground.

"JUST GREAT!Curex!Get some vines or something!"Nobody yelled as Rose squealed and dived deep into her bag.

"Ummm,here!"Curex yelled and a large green vine fell near Nobody's foot.

Grasping it with one hand,she tugged it.

"EEEEEEEEE!!"She yelled as the vine hissed and snapped at her.

"YOU THREW DOWN A SNAKE CUREX!!!!"Paris yelled as the snake quickly sunk into the sand.

"GOD DAMMIT,STOP RUSHING ME!!"Curex snarled as a real vine was thrown into the pit.

"Grab on!"Nobody yelled to Paris as she tossed part of the vine to her.

With a couple of sharp yanks,Curex pulled them both out of the death pit.

Nobody gasped as she buried her face into the earthy floor.

Jungle ground has never felt better.

"There.Happy?"Curex muttered.

"Yep.Thanks a bunch bro!"Paris yelled cheerfully and slapped his back.

How does she act so calm all the time?Nobody wondered.

And soon they continued,walking across creeks and hills as they strived to achieve one goal.

Get to the Land of Good.

Busy as they were,they once again didn't notice the old man watching them.

This time through a crystal ball.

And this time,smiling.
