Chapter 1, My Stereotype
I woke up in a dark room. "W-where am I?" I panicked. I tried remembering where I was. Who I was. Floral. I couldn't remember anything else. Except for one thing.
Nobody's Perfect.
*FLASHBACK*
"Mom!" I yelled pounding on the cell doors. "Help me!" I kicked the iron bars. "I'm sorry, sweetie. This was the best I could do for you." My mom whispered her eyes filled with tears.
*TIME WARP*
"What are you going to do to me?!" I yelled. I was strapped to a chair similar to one you would sit in at the dentist's office. A man stood over me. He had a drill in his hand. "Due to what you've done... certain measures had to be taken." The man said smirking. "HE WAS GOING TO BE KILLED ANYWAY! CORRUPTED WITH VISIONS OF PAIN!" I screamed. "Shut up!" The doctor hissed. "You may have fooled the lie detectors about the murder but we all know your stereotype was lying beyond measures! You are a filthy disgrace for a stereo!" He said spitting. I went unconsious.
Everything was blurry. My head was spinning. "Are you sure she won't awake until we deposit her?" A crackly voice said. "Yes Sir." Another voice said. "As long as she responds to the chip properly we should be fine." The same voice said. "And if she doesn't?" the first voice asked. "Then it will go as planned. We all know that these chips will malfunction if they get to complicated. It won't react well with the nerve system. It will be treated like a virus." the second voice happily. "You lost me as soon as you said malfunction. Remember, she has to forget everything except her name and her stereotype." "Done. She knows her name is Floral." The second voice said. "And her stereotype?" The crackly voice said. Someone let out a laugh that sounded more like a cackle. "Nobody's Perfect."
